Tick-tock. Tick-tock. Tick-tock.

Are there clocks that don't make a sound, or do they have to let us know that they are present, as is the time that fly by?

I think that the vice principal had put it in his room on purpose, to torture us students as we wait for our punishment. It was very much likely.

Though, maybe if I'll manage to convince him that it was an accident, he'll let me get away with it. Maybe give me community work. Do they do that, or did I watch too much teen movies?

I exhale loudly, standing up and looking around. It was the last class for the day, one that I had with Caleb, and from recent information with Klay. I preferred wasting an hour of my day in an art class with the guy instead of him. Klay's supposed to be in his third year, but he has art the same time as I have, and so they just let him be in the second year art class.

I almost burst to tears when I found out.

Finally, the sounds of steps towards the door made me quickly return to my seat. When the vice principal appeared, I almost started laughing. He held a cotton ball to his nose, probably to make sure blood will stop coming out from the injury I caused.

Someone didn't watch 'She's the man'.

He sat down, making sure he had the angriest face as he could. I bet he took so long because he practiced it in the bathroom. I wouldn't be very surprised if so.

"Now, Ms. Martins, I will let you know the charges and your punishment." "-Wait a second, I never meant to punch you! You just grabbed me out of nowhere in the middle of a fight, I thought you were gonna' beat me up!" "Ms. Martins!" He called, making me scowl at him and sit lower in my chair.

"I do not care what you thought, but for the action you took there is no place in our school." I crossed my arms and raised a brow.

"Oh really? What about the rest of the boys? Why weren't they, let say, let in here first?" The vice principal leaned on his forearms.

"That is because they were only been given a warning." I gaped at him. "What the f*ck!" "Ms. Martins!" I shook my head, standing up.

"You sexist son of a b*tch, I can't f*cking believe you let them-" "-That is enough! Sit down and shut your mouth before I call your parents!" My hand tightened so hard I could feel my nails wounding my palms. I couldn't tell Uncle Bart about this, of course. Not only was I supposed to help him, I could revile he was my uncle. Or maybe he wouldn't let me continue being here.

No, no way.

So, I let my ego -known as Rhi two-point-oh- get buried, and sat back down. "Now, as addition for that dirty mouth of yours, your weeks of detention will be extended to three." "Three f*c-" "Keep taking back and it will be four. Don't test me, young lady."

I swallowed heavily. Could he do that? Of course he could. He handed me piece of paper and turned towards his computer, letting me know it was time for me to leave.

I narrowed my eyes. He was messing with the wrong girl, and he was about to find out.

When I finally calmed down, the last class was over. I was sitting on a bench near the exit of the school when Caleb found me, a scowling mess, a bomb just waiting to explode.

"Where were you? The blond guy said you were taken to the vice principal office!" I looked at him and told him the whole story.

Caleb surprised me by cursing Mr. Hobson. Seconds later, Klay was running towards us. I was too annoyed to see who came along with him. "What the hell happened? I planned to be your painting buddy in art class, but then Elliot started telling us you got into some trouble!" I would've told him how that would have never happened, but Caleb started to tell him the story.

"What the f*ck?" I heard Reagan say. A moment later I could smell his cologne. How come I never noticed how good it smells? I shook my head, looking at Caleb and Klay. For my annoyance, Klay had a smirk on his face. "How do you always manage to get to cute little head of yours into troubles?" I pounced on him in response. Luckily for him, Reagan's hands reached out and caught me before I could.

Klay visibly cringed and took a few steps away. "What are we going to do about this guy?" Caleb asked. I frowned at him. "'We' are not going to do anything. I'll finish with this damn detentions, and then I'll make sure to be as far away from the d*ckhead as I can." Caleb gave an unpleased look and opened his mouth to protest. Klay beat him to it. "Ooh, I know! We can do some kind of revolution! Like, make signs, maybe do a strike and we won't study until all our conditions will be fulfilled!" I stood and smiled at him.

"That is a great idea!" Klay's smile got wider. "Really?" I nodded. Caleb stepped forward, "Rhi, I don't think-" "-Of course it is! Now let me put in my 'Too stupid even for me' list!" Klay stared at me with a blank look.

Caleb let out a chuckle, but tried masking it with a small cough. Reagan gave me a look but didn't have any visible expression on his face. "But Rhi, we can't just let him go over you like that." Caleb said, having a serious look on his face. I raise my brows.

"Who said I'll just let him?" Klay frowned at me. "But you said that... Oh sh*t, guys," His face paled when he saw the evil smile I had years to master. "Guys, I don't like that look on her face. What the hell are you going to do?"

I tilted my head, looking at the vice principal's window. "You'll see very soon."

"Are you feeling better today, Rhi?" Uncle Bart asked as he put down his cup of coffee. He said that he'd been waiting for me to settle down until he would ask me how I was doing in the school.

I gave him a look. "Aunt didn't stop yammering about how I got a cold, didn't she?" He let out a sigh. "Yes." I shook my head, a small smile on my face.

I shrugged, "I'm all right, and I was okay before as well, mind you."

I've been in the school for almost two month, but nothing seems to change.

"Have you been thinking on how to change things already? I heard the students were quite... impressed." I could have sworn I heard a question in his voice.

I rolled my eyes. Uncle Bart raised a brow, "You didn't get yourself into any troubles, did you?" I faked laugh. "Pfft, me? Troubles? Uncle Bart, Safe is my middle name!" He gave me a pointed look. "No, Unsafe is your middle name." I rolled my eyes. "Ar- ar, very funny."

"In all seriousness, you're doing fine, right?" I gaped at him, putting my hand on my chest dramatically. "Uncle Bart, you don't trust me?" It was his turn to roll his eyes. "I'm serious Rhi." I sighed, nodding. "Yes, I'm fine, don't worry so much, you'll get yourself more wrinkles old man." "Rhi!" I giggled. For a second there, I was sure he would mention the vice principal incident.

Luckily for me, he didn't.

"Are you going to tell us, or what?" Caleb asked as looked at me. Surprisingly enough, all of the boys wanted to hear about this 'big plan I had. I sipped with my straw from my strawberry milkshake. I have yet to understand why in the world all of these guys will want to meet up after school. I knew Klay told the others about what happen, so I assume he dragged them along with him.

I cleared my throat. There were five of the boys, not to include Caleb. I forgot most of their name, so Caleb had to quietly remind me. Thank god he was here.

"Okay, so I had a bit of the time to think. There have been quite a lot of fights lately right?" A few of them nodded. "And since the vice principal have to run to all of them to separate them, I thought, maybe we can make his work a living hell?" Reagan looked a bit wary. "Are you going to start fights all day long?" I shook my head, scowling. "No, of course not. It'll be enough for him to think there was to run around like a headless chicken." He nodded.

Klay, who somehow manage to sit beside me, smiled and put his arm around my shoulder. "That's my girl! When did you become so smart?" I elbowed his stomach. "When you became so stupid." Caleb gave me an amused smile. Amusement was written on a few of the other boys. Klay grunt I respond, taking back his arm and holding his stomach.

"You'll probably need some help, won't you?" Asked the brunet guy who had blue and green eyes, Thomas. I looked at him with a thoughtful expression. "I'm sure I'll be okay, no worries." "We'll help you." Said Reagan from the seat besides klay, a certain look on his face. I smiled at him, opening my arms as if ready to hug him. "Aww, Cute boy, thank you so much! Come, I'll give you a hug!" Klay gave me a look and pouted, blocking Reagan from my point of view. "What about me? Don't I get a hug?"

"No." I answered sharply, letting my arms fall on the picnic table. "Why not? Come on, give me a hug,"

"No."

"Rhi!"

"No."

And as the birds and people around quiet down, you couldn't miss the sound of the smack and Klay's groaning.
