A glistening tear

Rolled down my face

And dripped into

An abyss of bliss

When you looked in my eyes

And we told each other

"This is enough."

And it was.

Glistening tears

Raced down my glowing face

And stormed into

A pit of despair

When I looked at you

And thought about how you treated me after all this time

And I told myself

"I've had enough."

And enough was enough
