Chapter 16

Abhidnya's Pov.

Next morning I woke up and tried getting out of the bed but due to the heavy weight on my body I couldn't. I saw Shivansh's hands wrapped around my waist as if he's protecting me like a shield.

I really loved being in his arms, and I had the best sleep in ages. I tried slipping out of his hold but he tightened his grip on me and snuggled more closer to me.

Now I can feel his hot breath on my neck and God just that is giving me butterflies in my stomach.

"Shivansh, please get up. We need to do so many things today and also go for grocery shopping." I said while moving his hands. Well, trying to move his hands.

"No, I don't want to go anywhere. It feels so great to be with you let's not ruin it, please? We will go for grocery shopping later, I just want to stay at home and watch movies with you." He said while stretching his arms.

"Okay, as you say but at least get out of the bed and have breakfast first."

"Yes, let's freshen up and I'll make breakfast for you." He stated with excitement like I'm going to reward him for that.

"Why are you so excited about this? Just a few minutes before you didn't even want to leave the bed and now you're all so enthusiastic." I asked him suspiciously.

"Uhh... Actually, I know we decided that will do fun things and shopping but I thought of spending this Sunday at home itself as we both will get busy from tomorrow and won't get time to spend with each other much." He said hesitantly.

I really loved how Shivansh is taking efforts to build our relationship again.

"Shivansh, you don't have to hesitate while stating your feelings to me. And I really like this idea, also I'm really tired to go for shopping."

He took my hands in his and said, "Abhi, I really never imagined living with you would be like this. I thought we both would be really uncomfortable and won't be able to even talk properly but you always look at things in a very understanding way and that is what I really love about you. Please forgive me for all the things I have said to you to hurt you. I regret each and every word I said to you and I'm really sorry for misunderstanding things."

Guilt was evident in Shivansh's eyes and it really made me feel bad. Though I was upset and mad at him years ago for not understanding me but today I feel bad to see tears in his eyes due to his guilt.

"Shivansh, I won't lie but I was really upset years ago as you misunderstood everything and blamed me for the same but I forgave you long back. Please don't let that guilt bring tears in your eyes." I hugged him immediately as couldn't control myself anymore.

"Hey, now enough of so much senti talks, I'll prepare breakfast for you and you go freshen up."

He very well knows how to cheer me up.

I went to do my morning routine and had a quick shower as I wanted to help Shivansh and not let him alone do everything.

I changed into a t-shirt dress and went towards the kitchen. He was busy making sandwiches so didn't acknowledge my presence.

I stood there admiring the guy I loved years back, and I guess I'm falling in love with him again.

"Are you done admiring me or you're just going to stand there and continue doing it?" He asked raising his eyebrows while breaking my trail of thoughts.

I blushed and went up to him to see if he need any help.

"You really look very beautiful when you blush." He said huskily near my ears.

This made me blush more and now my cheeks were as red as beetroot.

"Go have a shower and then we will have breakfast together." I tried changing the topic.

He went to take a shower instead of teasing me more and I was relieved.

I platted the sandwiches on the dining table and was checking my mails and messages, he came and sat in front of me and asked me, "What's your favorite American Show?"

"F.R.I.E.N.D.S," I said excitedly. I loved that show with everything I had.

"Hey, I love that show too. I have watched it for more than 5 times without skipping any of the episode." He stated enthusiastically.

He switched on the TV and we had our breakfast while watching our favorite show.

I really enjoyed the tasty sandwiches he made.

"You really are a very good cook." I appreciated him knowing that now he will think very highly of himself and won't stop praising himself.

"I know that, though thank-you! Don't you think you should reward me with something for making such tasty sandwiches for you?" He asked while smirking at me and I knew he was up to something.

"What reward? You did all this for a reward? You're so selfish!!!" I said angrily just to tease him.

"I didn't do anything for the reward, I really wanted to make something for you and wanted to admire the beautiful smile you had while enjoying the breakfast." He stated genuinely.

"I know that, I was just teasing you," I said and winked at him.

"I definitely need my reward now. I thought you were hurt when you called me selfish." He said with sadness evident in his tone.

"What reward are you talking about Mr. Shivansh Shetty?" I asked him raising my eyebrows.

"I earned the reward as I cooked for you so as a reward I should at least get a kiss." He said with a mischievous grin on his face.

I just shook my head and got up to keep my plate in the kitchen but he caught my hand and pulled me towards him and I landed on his lap.

Now, I could feel his breath on my neck and my whole body started reacting to his actions. He took hold of my hair and moved them on the other side of the neck and brushed his lips on my neck and a moan escaped my mouth.

"So what about my reward?"

I kissed him on his left cheek and released myself from his hold and went to the kitchen with my plate.

He sat there dumbfounded and later came with his plate.

"This is not fair." He whined like a child.

"What is not fair? You said you wanted a kiss but you didn't mention which kiss." I stated as a matter of fact and he nodded.

"From next time I'll be more specific." He said and walked away.

I washed the dishes and joined him on the couch.

He got up and took hold of my hand and dragged me with him to his movie room, he had a home theatre with a huge king sized bed.

He really had planned his apartment with much efforts.

"You select the movie and I will bring snacks and beer for us. Do you want anything else?"

"Shivansh I don't drink beer, can you please get a cold drink for me?"

"I thought it's been years and you must have changed your mind and started drinking now so... Never mind I'll get everything."

"Yeah!".

I went through the list of movies and each and every movie on the list was my favorite. It had a perfect combination of horror, action, comedy, romance, and sci-fi movies.

I selected 'Avengers: Infinity War' and Shivansh joined me with snacks and cold drinks.

"What did you select?"

I showed him the CD and he nodded. I helped him arrange the snacks. He got a comforter and we both slipped into it as the movie started.

During the movie, we discussed our favorite superhero and their movies.

We got up as the movie finished.

"What would you like to have for lunch?" I asked him.

"Let's order pizza, I'm craving for it. Do you want anything else?"

"No, I'll have the same."
