Prologue

"Your girlfriend is such a bitch man, she was trying to seduce me."

I knew Shivansh trusted me. I went up to him and was about to say something but Vishal cut me off.

"This whore dragged me here as soon as you left to attend the call and started forcing herself on me."

Shivansh stood there listening to everything Vishal was saying.

I wished for him to listen to what I had to say but he interrupted me, "I don't want to see your face again. How could you do this to me? I loved you and you faked it all the time. I never thought you would break my heart like this. How can you not care about my feelings? And don't even try to justify your mistake by any excuses or by accusing Vishal."

"What Vishal told was the truth, I trust my best friend enough." He continued and walked away.

On the last day of the exam after finishing my paper when I was about to leave, he approached me and said, "At least accept your mistake and try to apologize? How long are you going to avoid me? If you can betray me, you should have the courage to admit it. Why run like a coward?"

I tried reasoning my behavior but he cut me off.

"Don't give me excuses, just accept the fact that you did a mistake and betrayed me."

I was left with no choice but to just leave.
