First of all, I wanna say something and you must read this otherwise you won't understand the dressing style of the royals.
Well, some of my dear readers asked me how will prince Virendra looks like and how I imagined him.
Initially, I didn't imagine the prince as anyone. But now, I am shamelessly got whipped by Porus. So...yeah...I imagine porus as Prince Virendra. And yes, the dressing sense isn't like the men from the serial Porus. It's different for both men and women.
In my story, the royal males wear a royal tunic with dhoti where the look completed with an uttariya when they are at courts or at outside. But when they are in their rooms, they can wear the clothes of their wish and those clothes can be like the males in the serial Porus ie with dhoti as lower garments and uttariya for the upper part.
Tunic: it's something like below but since the princes wear royal tunics, they are of bright colors and are designed with good quality of the embroidery.
You can imagine Prince Virendra as Porus: the hair length of Prince Virendra is the same as Porus and the style of his beard as well.
The blue cloth which he is wearing can be counted as uttariya.
And for royal females, they used to wear sarees while nowadays. But...if they want, then they can wear their saree in dhoti style with a sleeveless blouse with dupatta. Jewelry is always important for the kings and queens, so they used to were heavy jewelry.
And yes, the king and prince here wear turbans not the crown. The king wears a royal turban which shows his status as a king.
I will add pictures when it comes to clothes of females cz I collected a number of pics already. But for men, I will try to describe as much as possible as I cannot find good quality pictures. And...I will use some pictures of porus if it's necessary.
"Something is greatly wrong. Someone is planning to destroy the relationship between Avantipuram and Maheswari."
Prince Virendra uttered while walking to and fro in his room. His thumb and index finger were on his slightly bearded chin while his finger was caressing his cheek as he was deeply thinking about the incident that happened in the morning. The dimly lit room with diyas wasn't helping him any. Whenever Virendra had to solve any problem, he would make his room dimly lit and almost dark as it calmed down his nerves and helped him to think better.
He walked towards the window and put his hands on the window frame. He closed his eyes for a moment and let out a deep breath. The soothing breeze which was making his long hair blow gently wasn't even helping him to find a solution.
Saanvi won't ever do this. She is my sister and she never learned to do such a thing. Virendra sighed and looked at the beautiful moon which was shining gently. Suddenly Virendra's lips curved upwards forming a smile as if he thought of a solution. He wore his uttariya on his left shoulder and twisted it's another end at his right lower arm, completing his look like a royal prince.
Time to meet Bodhan. He smirked as he proceeded towards Bodhan's room.
Bodhan was laying on the couch while enjoying the fruits while there was wine in a royal jug. The parrot was sleeping in its cage. Suddenly the guard who was guarding the room informed Bodhan that Prince Virendra wanted to meet him.
Bodhan quickly put the fruit on the plate and stood up to welcome Virendra. As the Prince stepped into the room, Bodhan bowed with a huge smile plastered to his face.
"Greetings, your Highness." Bodhan looked at the prince after bowing. "Why did you come here, your highness? I would have come if you sent me a message."
"It's okay." Virendra smiled. "After all you predicted my friend's future. So I came to meet you personally. Can you read my palm and tell predict my future as well?" Virendra tilted his head and looked at Bodhan sharply.
"I can, your highness," Bodhan replied confidently.
"Great." Virendra smiled and open his palm so that the fore-teller could tell something.
Bodhan looked at the prince's palm and a frown formed on his face while Virendra was observing keenly. After something, Bodhan lifted his head to face Virendra.
"Prince, you have a bright future and you will marry a beautiful princess who is soft, innocent, and pure. She will be intelligent as she will have huge knowledge about literature." Bodhan smiled when he finished his words.
"Soft princess?!" Virendra chuckled. "I don't prefer the princesses who are soft and innocent. I rather prefer warrior girls who have the courage to challenge me." Virendra gazed at Bodhan.
"But prince, all princes like innocent princesses," Bodhan replied.
"Maybe." Virendra smiled and walked around the room. "Maybe most of the princes like an innocent princess but I prefer warrior girls." Virendra walked towards the table where the wine and fruits were kept. "Warrior girls have a different aura. Isn't it, Mr. Bodhan?" The prince turned his head back to glance at Bodhan who was looking away from the prince. Virendra smiled as he carefully took out a small wrapped thing from his belt around the waist and mixed it with the wine in the glass. Once he finished his task, he walked towards Bodhan. "Mr. Bodhan, is my wife really going to be a soft princess?"
"Y-yes, your highness." Bodhan shuttered and looked away from Virendra, avoiding the latter's gaze.
"Well, I will surely invite you to my marriage," Virendra smirked. "For now, I will excuse myself," Virendra said and Bodhan bowed to the Prince.
Virendra nodded and left the room. He went straight to his room and sat on the chair with a triumphant smile. Tomorrow the real game will start. He smirked as he was confident about his plan.
The next day, everyone was present at the Royal Darbar. After the announcement of the arrival of the king, all the courtiers stood up to show respect to him. Virendra was standing beside Harshik and Bodhan was standing at a side. After the king took his seat, everyone in the court took their seats.
"Prince Virendra did you collect enough proves to proof the prediction wrong?" The King asked in his authoritative voice.
Virendra stood up and bowed to the king. "Yes, your Majesty. I have collected proves. But first of all, I want Mr. Bodhan to have a look again at Harshik's palm."
The King looked at Bodhan while the latter looked terrified as if he wanted to say something but cannot. The king frowned as he understood something was wrong with Bodhan.
"What's wrong Bodhan?" The King asked while his gaze was fixed on Bodhan.
"I-I...can-not...s-speak." Bodhan struggled to speak as his voice forbade him from speaking.
"What happened? Why can not you speak now?" King inquired worriedly to which Bodhan violently shook his head, telling the King that he didn't know the reason for his sore throat and loss of voice.
A smirk formed on Virendra's face as he succeeded in the first step of his plan. He turned towards the king. "Your Majesty, the parrot is the one who can read the palm and tell the future. So I don't think it will create a problem if Bodhan cannot speak." Virendra smiled.
"I agree with Prince Virendra." The King asserted. "Prince Harshik, I want you to show your palm to Bodhan so that the parrot can predict again."
Harshik bowed to the king and went to Bodhan as he showed the latter his palm. The parrot again jumped to the lower arm of its owner and looked at the Prince's palm. After some time the parrot flew to its owner's shoulder.
"Princess of Maheswari is good. She doesn't have an affair with anyone." The parrot spoke. "My owner told me to say that. So I said that Princess is bad. But the princess is as pure as the driven snow. She is the best match for the prince." It nodded its head while speaking. "My owner is cruel and doesn't give me food if I don't follow his orders. I am sorry, your majesty. I had to lie yesterday." The parrot said lowering its head while Bodhan was shaking his head furiously as if he was denying his parrot's words.
"See your Majesty, didn't I tell you that my sister is innocent?" Prince Virendra looked at the king.
"How dare your parrot to say such words against my fiance?" Prince Harshik growled and unsheathed his sword. "How dare you, huh?" He put the sword at Bodhan's neck.
"Prince Harshik!" Virendra rushed to his friend and held his hand. "Don't act recklessly. The King will look into this matter." Virendra tightened his grip around Harshik's hand which still held the sword around Bodhan's neck. "Let go, Harshik."
Harshik removed his sword dejectedly and sheathed it again. He looked at Virendra with apologizing eyes while the latter just smiled and took Harshik to his seat.
"Bodhan! How dare to speak those offensive words against Princess of Maheswari?" The King thundered, making the courtiers flinch.
Bodhan shook his head violently and fell on his knees. "I-I d-don't k-know...w-why my p-parrot said l-like t-this." He struggled to speak while fear was dominant on his face. "M-my p-parrot c-cann-not s-speak."
"What!" The courtiers gasped.
"Still you are surprised your parrot is speaking, aren't you Bodhan?" Virendra averted his gaze to Bodhan with a confident smirk.
"B-but h-how?" Bodhan tried to speak.
"Simple." Virendra smiled and walked towards Bodhan. "First tell me, what your parrot predicted yesterday is wrong, right?" Virendra gazed at Bodhan to which the latter lowered his head. "Answer me!" Virendra growled.
"Y-yes. M-my pa-rrot pre-dicted w-wrong." Bodhan said.
"Then...who asked you to say those words against my sister?" Virendra asked in his deep voice.
"Asked him?" The King asked as he was surprised by Virendra's words. "But yesterday parrot said those words. Then how is Bodhan related to it?"
"Your Majesty, no doubt that the parrots can speak and mimic it's owner's words. But...parrots can neither read one's palm nor predict one's future. Yesterday the words which you heard in this royal darbar were spoken by Bodhan, not the parrot." Virendra paused and looked at the king.
"But Bodhan didn't open his mouth while parrot was speaking," Harshik said as he was flabbergasted at the situation.
"Yes. He didn't open his mouth but a huge smile with parted lips was plastered to his face." Virendra glared at Bodhan. "He spoke without moving his lips and his teeth. He just kept his lips parted so that his voice could be heard all over the court."
"How are you so sure about this?" Minister Vijay asked as he trusted Bodhan's prediction too much. "And how is it possible?"
"Because I too know the art of speaking without moving lips," Virendra said confidently while averting his gaze to the king. "Just now you saw that the parrot spoke clearly, even though Bodhan's voice wasn't in good condition. Bodhan was continuously shaking his head, denying parrots words which clearly showed that he didn't have an idea how the parrot spoke."
"Then...was it you who spoke those words?" The King narrowed his eyes, trying to digest the truth.
"Yes, Your Majesty, it was me who spoke those words," Virendra replied in a firm voice, while murmuring sounds filled the court. "Yesterday those words were spoken by Bodhan and today by me. It clearly shows that the parrot cannot predict the future. It can only mimic it's owner's voice." He paused and looked at Bodhan. "This man is clearly tricking the kings and receiving huge amounts of gifts by using his talent of speaking without moving his lips. It also clearly depicts that...someone is against the friendship of Maheswari and Avantipuram. That person wanted to use Bodhan as his pawn to create troubles in our friendship. But unfortunately, it failed." Virendra explained while looking sharply at Bodhan.
"Bodhan, is it true?" The King roared.
"Y-yes, y-your Maj-esty." Bodhan fell on his knees while folding his hands. "I was to-ld to s-say like t-this, other-wise h-he would k-kill me." He cried.
"Then tell the name of the person," Virendra said in a stoic voice.
"I can-not. I am so-rry." Bodhan cried bitterly.
"Take him to the dungeon. I will take care of him later." The King ordered. He looked at Virendra and stood up. "I am sorry prince for believing that man. I shouldn't have done so." The king looked at Virendra with a feeling of guilt in his eyes.
"Your Majesty, it's okay. I can understand the situation. Anyone in your place can believe that man." Virendra smiled.
"But how did you learn to speak without moving your lips?" The King asked as he was amused by Virendra's talent.
"When I was a child, a man like Bodhan came to our kingdom. He too could have the same talent like him. He came to royal Darbar of Maheswari and showed his tricks." Virendra smiled. "I was too excited and enthusiastic that I wanted to learn the talent from him. After pleasing him for a long time, he agreed to teach me that art and I learned it from him." He explained. "So I can speak without moving my lips like this." He smiled keeping his lips apart. "Greetings your Majesty, Prince Virendra already showed his proofs against Bodhan. Now it is proved that princess Saanvi is innocent." He said without moving his lips, making the courtiers stare at him with wide eyes.
"That's amazing!" The king clapped. "Thank you, prince Virendra, for proving Princess Saanvi innocent."
Virendra bowed his head and smiled. "But your Majesty, you should find who is the person who is trying to destroy the relation between Avantipuram and Maheswari."
"Rest assured prince." The King smiled.
After the court was dismissed, Prince Virendra was resting in his room.
Bodhan is a pawn. But who used him? Virendra sighed and rested his body on the royal couch. Gladly the medicine which I mixed in the wine worked perfectly otherwise my entire plan would have failed. I hope he gains his voice after 3 days and tells the name of the person who forced him to do so.
Suddenly some heavy footsteps caught his attention and he looked at the direction of the sound.
"Prince Harshik?" Virendra smiled as he walked towards his friend.
"I am sorry Virendra." Harshik held Virendra's hands. "I should have trusted you and princess Saanvi."
"It's okay Harshik." Virendra smiled. "Mistakes may happen. But please don't do this in the future."
"Mn." Harshik nodded. "Thank you for proving her innocence."
"She is my sister and I can go to any extent to prove her innocence," Virendra said in a cold voice. He smiled and looked at the prince. "I will leave for Maheswari tomorrow."
"Huh? Why so soon Virendra?" Harshik asked worriedly.
"It already has been 2 days. Father needs me." Virendra replied.
"I know you cannot stay away from your kingdom for more than 2 days." Harshik gleamed. "I won't stop you. I will inform my father about this."
"Sure." Virendra smiled and Harshik left the room.

About talking without moving lips, it's possible. I searched about it in chrome. It is known as VENTRILOQUISM.
Here is the link where I read this thing-

How do you feel about Virendra? Does it look like he is perfect for Lavanya?
Initially, I had no plans for this chapter of Virendra. But later you guys said that the entry of prince should be a good one since our Lavanya is powerful. So I thought of this plot.
