Chapter 11

Fortunately, the sky seems to agree with Chaeyoung's mood today. The sunlight kissing her face when they got out of the car gives her warmth from the coming coldness. They arrived at the residence of the Baes where their meeting will he held. She honestly don't know what the president will react when she sees her.

"Welcome Miss" A middle aged man approach and bowed on them.

"Thank you. Where is Miss Bae?" She asked. Mina stayed mum by her side. She noticed how the girl stayed silent since this morning. It's like she's thinking deeply.

"She's at the garden. I shall lead you there." The man gestured his hands to follow him.

They entered a very beautiful green house where different beautiful flowers were planted. The hard word in taking care of the plants could be seen by how beautiful they had bloomed. On the middle of the garden is lady that radiates elegance from meters away. It was none other than the woman they're going to meet, Bae Irene.

"Miss Bae they're here." The man bowed. Irene just hums and the man left.

"It really is you." The woman crossed her arms.

"Yes. I'm sorry but Jihyo unnie can't come" she apologized.

"It's okay Ms. Son please have a sit" Irene sat first and so the two of them. Chaeyoung prayed that the woman will be civil enough. Seeing that there is another person with them.

"How was your cousin?" Okay her prayers are clearly rejected.

"She's fine. About the business-"

"I'm sorry but I won't be signing the contract." Ms. Bae smiled sarcastically. Chaeyoung expected this. She met the woman before when she's with her cousin. The memory is not a good thing to remember.

"Why? I mean this is completely a different company Ms. Bae" She reasoned. The woman is getting unreasonable.

"I know that your company is one of the investors Ms. Son" She crossed her legs this time. A very intimidating woman indeed.

"Why does that-"

"It matters. I swore to the Devil that I'll never ever want to breath in the same air with that woman."  She hissed. Chaeyoung deadpan, she can't do anything. Bae Irene and Son Wendy are sworn enemies. If she were to ask her cousin, no doubt she'll act like this too. Chaeyoung glanced at her companion who has yet to speak a word. She gave Mina a look saying she needs help. Mina just raised a brow.

"Help me" She whispered. Mina blinked and she seems to realize now what is happening.

"Okay" She smiled, but it was different. Her smile is different. Chaeyoung knows it.

"Hey I learned that you love to play games" She started. Chaeyoung could feel that scary tone.

"Oh are you a fan?" Irene laughed. Mina nodded.

"So what about it?" Irene is now interested. Mina just knows what thread to pull.

"How about we play a game? Then you can decide if you won't sign the contract." Chaeyoung watched as the two woman in front of her exchange stares for seconds. It seems like their having a contest who's going to avoid first.

"You really have the guts. Sure! Let's play a game tomorrow. Here in my place I have an arcade room." She smiled with those business fake ones.

"Okay we have deal Ms. Bae" Mina smiled just as same. Chaeyoung wondered where did the girl learned things about this. It was like she knows what to do. The two woman shake hands and Chaeyoung besides rejected for the was still happy that they still have a chance.

They're now on the car and on their way to a restaurant nearby. It was Chaeyoung who's driving while Mina is silently observing the view outside. This time Chaeyoung insisted to drive.

"How did you do that?" Chaeyoung breaks the silence.

"Do what?" Her attention is still on the outside.

"How did you know she likes to play games?" Chaeyoung is really grateful that Mina is with her or she might really go home without a signed contract.

"Hmm I just know. I'm a gamer myself." She answered nonchalantly.

"You are?" This is new for her. Chaeyoung never thought that the girl is into games. Mina hums in reply.

"Why did I never saw you playing?" She asked.

"I have my pc on my old apartment. Besides I have a job of course I won't be playing around." Chaeyoung mentally slap herself for asking such nonsense.

"yeah right. So what do you want to eat?" They arrived and she's parking the car now.

"Anything. I'm not that hungr- Chaeyoung watch out!" Mina has to activate her one ability to stop the car from colliding with the upcoming one. It seems like it lost it's break. Good thing Chaeyoung turned the wheels immediately and stepped on the break but the other car crashed on one of the pillars.

"Shit" Chaeyoung muttered. Mina just sighs. Looks like I overdid it.

They got out of the car to check the passenger of the crashed one. Mina called the ambulance. Chaeyoung saw the damage and It wasn't good. She immediately rushed to the driver who passed out. There was blood on her head, she seems to bump it on the wheel. The security of the place came to help. The ambulance also came after twenty minutes and took the girl. The police asked their statement and they also take the footage of the cctv on the area.

"Should we check on the woman?" Chaeyoung worriedly sat on their table. Mina don't know why would their go but she gets it the her boss just happens to be a kind one. She also knows it was partly her fault for stirring the wheels that strong that it crashed.

"Okay we will after we take our lunch. Now eat." Chaeyoung nodded and started to eat. Mina don't feel guilty at all. She knows she has too but it was long taken away from her. Somehow it makes her thankful sometimes because she don't need to shed a tear for doing her job. Now she remembered, when was the last time she killed someone. A month ago? that also means it's been a month since the last time she felt emotions flooded her system or does it? Being with the girl makes her forget that she craves those emotions. Those emotions that makes her feel more humane.

What a weird woman.

They're now inside the hospital to check the woman before. Mina honestly don't want to go but she has to. They entered the emergency room and saw the woman on the corner who was already stitched up. She's sleeping now.

"Hey doc is she okay?" Chaeyoung approached the doctor who's checking the girl.

"Are you the patient's family?" The doctor asked.

"No but we are the ones who called the ambulance. We're just checking on her if she's fine" She answered. The doctor nodded.

"The patient suffers from concussion but don't worry that can be treated with ease though she still has to be admitted for more test. If she wakes up please ask her for a family member." The doctor smiled and excused himself. Mina and Chaeyoung shared a look.

"Are we going to stay until she wakes up?" Mina asked.

"It seems so" Chaeyoung sighs. Seeing the girl sleeping peaceful, she can't leave her be.

"You can go back on the hotel" Chaeyoung throw the keys to Mina. Mina's brow creased.

"Then leave you here? Excuse me Ms. Son" Mina complained. Well she has a job to do.

"Yeah right Ms. bodyguard. I'll go take care of her room you stay her" Mina silently nodded and pulled out a chair to sit besides the girl. Chaeyoung left to do what she has to do. Mina sighs, now she was left alone with a sleeping person. She fished out her phone and started reading the information Dahyun had sent her. Scrolling on the file, she saw a picture of Bae Irene with Son Wendy and another woman. Wait...

She looks at the sleeping girl.. then back to the picture. It's her, no doubt about it.

"What a coincidence" She smirked.

Nayeon sat on the bed sighing every five minutes to pass.

"Yah Nayeonie are you going to help or not?" Jihyo deadpan.

"You're asking me to join you but then how about Jeong?" Nayeon look so confused what to do. Surely it is on her gain if she ever joins the group but choosing to be with them was like choosing not to be with her lover. She loves her girl friend and she can't see a life without her now.

"That I'll try to do something with that. What's important now is to defeat the organization." Jihyo sat beside her.

"We can't defeat those power hungry monsters. There's like twenty remaining special persons there and all of them are trained to kill." Nayeon argued. It's a risk to face a war without a soldier.

"That's true. But we have one on our side too. Listen, we know how many they are. Let's use that as our advantage. They don't know that we formed an alliance together." Jihyon reasoned. Nayeon looked at her with uncertainty.

"Who do you mean?" She asked. Jihyo sighs and laid her back on the mattress.

"Before when all of us is still in the cage, do you remember that blonde girl?" she started. Nayeon nodded. She remembers the woman clearly. She was the most vicious of them. The greatest masterpiece, as what the organization calls.

"She's with us and she's with Chaeyoung now" Nayeon blinked still processing the information.

"What are you saying? That deadly woman is with Chae?!" Nayeon stood up. Worried for her little sister's life.

"Don't worry. Mina won't hurt her."

"How can you be so sure?! That woman killed so many Jihyo. She masacre the organization on that day. She was the reason why the organization is on a man hunt for our heads." Nayeon spat.

"But did you forgot the fact that she was the reason why we escaped too?" Jihyo argued. Nayeon got silent, the woman hit a right button. Indeed Mina was the reason why they have this life now.

"But Chaeyoung she's-"

"Before we left that place, I collected a file from the confidential room. I found out who we are before we are abducted and experimented like guinea pigs." Jihyo closed her eyes. How fucked up and unforgivable those people did to them. She herself can't wait to take revenge.

"What do you mean?" Nayeon asked in confusion.

"She will never hurt Chaeyoung. I know that, but if she ever did. I will be the one to finish her" Jihyo opened her eyes with those intense blue irises. Nayeon knows the girl wasn't kidding. They've know each other for years.

It's just stupid of her not to notice. That she didn't found it earlier that her friend is just like her.

"Fine. I trust you" Nayeon sigh in defeat. Jihyo smiled.

"Welcome to the family Nabong"
