It was the fourth day of the intense Test match between India and Australia at the Wankhede Stadium.

The Indian team was chasing a formidable Every run counted.

Shubman Gill, who had been in impeccable form lately, was preparing to bat.

But today was different.... he had a special reason to shine.

In the stands, seated was Ishan,

Shubman’s boyfriend. Ishan, lovingly nicknamed the “team’s cutie lucky charm,” had come to cheer for his boyfriend and the Indian cricket team.

His presence always seemed to boost the team’s morale.

Rohit : Aaj ka match jeetna hi hai, samjhe sab? Target tough hai, lekin hum bhi Wankhede ki mitti ke sher hain.

Virat: Haan, aur Shubman ka mood toh dekho. Mera bas chale toh Ishan ko permanent team member banwa doon.

Rohit: Bhai, bas yeh mat karna ki Ishan pe focus zyada aur match pe kam.

Shubman: (grinning) Ishanka focus bhi mere runs pe hai aur mera focus bhi usi pe hai. Win-win situation.

The team broke into laughter, their spirits lifted as they headed to the field.

As the team warmed up on the field, Shubman’s eyes kept drifting toward the Ishan.

Shubman, who was supposed to be practicing his batting drills, instead found himself leaning on his bat, completely absorbed in watching Ishan.

Jaiswal: aur bhai, bhabhi ji ko gurna hoga toh match khel le.

Shubman : Bhai, woh smile kar raha hai. Main kya karoon?

Hardik: Haan toh kya kar raha hai? Jaake propose kar na phir.

Shubman : chup karo yaar.

Crowd: ISHMAN! ISHMAN!

Hardik :  (nudging Shubman) Dekha? Fans ko bhi pata hai ki asli motivation kahan se aata hai.

Rohit: Chalo, ladko  Shubman ka romance khatam ho gaya ho toh huddle banate hai.

Jaiswal :  (laughing) Haan bhai, ab bas. Bhabhi ko match ke baad dekh lena.

Virat, walking past with his bat, added his own comment: Shubman, match ke pehle Ishan ke sapne dekhna band kar.

The match stared with Shubman walking to the crease, his bat glinting under the sun.

He looked up at the stands, his eyes locking with Ishan’s.

A small nod of encouragement from Ishan was all he needed.

In the slips, the Australian players started their usual banter.

Australian Player 1: Hey, Gill, who’s that cute boy waving at you? Your biggest fan?

Shubman (smirking): Fan? Nah, he’s my lucky charm. Watch closely—you’ll see the magic soon.

The bowler delivered, and Shubman’s cover drive raced to the boundary.

During a drinks break, Hardik approached Shubman.

Hardik: Bhai, boundary maar ke Ishan ko flying kiss de de, crowd ka bhi mood ban jayega.

Shubman: Uske liye mujhe century tak rukna padega. Baaki tum log kya kar rahe ho? Drama dekho ya match khelo.

Jaiswal: Arre, hum toh Ishan ke expressions ka analysis kar rahe hain.

Shubman : Tum log meri batting dekh rahe ho ya uska reaction?

Hardik : bhai dono.

As Shubman reached his half-century, the dugout celebrated, and the Australian players tried to unsettle him.

Australian Player 2: Gill, does your ‘lucky charm’ stay lucky if you get out?

Shubman : (calmly hitting a boundary) Why don’t you bowl better and find out?

Virat fielding nearby, shouted: Bhai, aise jawab do ki woh bowling chhod ke ghar chale jayein!

With a textbook pull shot, Shubman brought up his century.

The stadium roared.

Shubman removed his helmet, raised his bat, and turned toward Ishan.

He bowed slightly and pointed his bat toward him.

The cameras zoomed in on Ishan, who turned red as he blew a flying kiss in return.

The commentators went wild.

Commentator 1: That’s what you call a love story in cricket!

Commentator 2: Shubman Gill dedicates his century to his lucky charm, and we can’t get enough of this!

India won the match in style.

As the players walked off, Shubman climbed into the stands and pulled Ishan into a tight hug.

The crowd cheered louder.

Shubman: Mujhe bola tha na, tum ho toh jeet hai.

Ishan : Aur tum ho toh mera din ban jata hai.

The Indian cricket team had won the match, but for Shubman and Ishan, they had won something even more precious.....a love that inspired and uplifted everyone around them.
