By the time she returned to her room, every exhausted cell in Rebekah's body was buzzing. If this was what being in love was like, she never wanted to fall out of love again.

"You look like the cat who got all the cream," a voice drawled. Rebekah turned to see Elise watching her with a raised eyebrow and a smirk on her face. Her blonde hair was tied into a messy bun on her head as her eyes returned to the laptop on her lap.

Rebekah couldn't help the sheepish smile that crept across her face. "I had a good workout," she said.

Although... seeing a certain someone might also have contributed to my good mood.

The thought snuck across her mind before she could stop it, and she felt her face flush with embarrassment.

For several long moments, Elise stared at Rebekah, her mouth agape. "Did you just make a sexual innuendo?"

Rebekah frowned, completely confused. "What're you talking about?"

"'I had a good workout'?" Elise raised her two hands and mimicked quotation marks. She waggled her eyebrows suggestively.

"I did. I went on the bicycle and treadmill and I'm so tired right now, but it feels good." Rebekah smiled. "I should go to the gym more often."

She went to her dresser to pull out a clean set of clothes and a towel, oblivious to the way Elise shook her head and chuckled to herself.

"You're still so innocent after being with Seb for so long. It must be a miracle," Elise remarked as Rebekah searched the room for her shampoo.

"I'm not innocent."

Elise shoved her glasses onto her head and crossed her arms over her chest, her blue eyes sparkling. "Sure." She winked. "And I'm Jennifer Lawrence."

Rebekah shot her roommate the most scathing look that she could muster, but as she stepped into the hallway outside, Elise's voice stopped her.

"Hey Beck?"

She poked her head back into the room. "Yeah?"

"Don't change, alright?" Elise had a soft smile on her face now. "You're like a breath of fresh air on a hot, humid day. You're good for Seb, for all of us."

Rebekah felt her earlier annoyance fade. "Thanks E. You're pretty special yourself."

"Seb would probably disagree." Elise's expression turned mischievous again.

"Well, maybe we shouldn't ask Sebastian then," Rebekah retorted. "Maybe we should ask his best friend. Who do you think Danny would call special out of the two of us?" She smiled in triumph when Elise snorted derisively.

"Please. I can barely stand that idiot and I'm sure that the feeling is mutual for him too."

Rebekah grinned. "Okay. Whatever helps you sleep at night, E." Before Elise could make a snide comment in response, Rebekah ducked back into the hallway and hurried away, laughing as she went.

When she returned back to her room, Rebekah found a note that Elise had left on her desk.

Enjoy your hot date with my brother tonight. Remember: 'Netflix and Chill' is just one d away from 'Netflix and Child' :) don't do anything I wouldn't do.

~ E

P.S. if he does anything to make you uncomfortable, tell me. I'll punch him in the dick for you when I see him next.

Rebekah rolled her eyes but found herself smiling as she tucked the note in her bedside table.

Smoothing out the invisible creases in her dress, she took a quick look at her reflection in Elise's full-length mirror. She'd chosen a black dress for the date; it used to belong to Chloe before she fell pregnant and never completely lost the baby weight. Chloe was shorter than her so the hem of the dress ended higher up her legs than it had on Chloe. Even though it wasn't uncomfortably short, Rebekah found herself tugging at it anyway.

Before she could overthink about her outfit choice, her phone buzzed. When she opened the message, she saw that it was a photo of Finn beaming as he played with his friends in their backyard. His leg was still in a cast but he looked a lot better than he had in the photo Chloe had sent her last week.

She typed out a response quickly.

Thanks for the photo, sis. Tell my little champ that I miss him.

Her sister's response was almost immediate.

Tell him yourself :) Him and mum are on their way to see you right now.

Rebekah felt alarm bells chime in her head.

Fuck. If her mum was coming, she needed to cancel her date with Sebastian immediately. If she found out that Rebekah was dating a boy, she'd probably flip out, unenroll her from university and send her to a convent to live out the rest of her days as a celibate nun.

The thought made Rebekah cringe. She wished that she was over thinking, but in all honesty, anything was possible with her mum.

Agitated, Rebekah tapped Sebastian's number into her phone but before she could press call, there was a knock at the room door.

She froze.

Her mum couldn't be here already... could she?

Fuck.

Running both hands through her hair, she hurried to the door and swung it open. To her relief, she found Sebastian standing there with a bouquet of flowers in his hands. All thoughts of her mother flew out her head as Rebekah found herself admiring how Sebastian looked. He was too handsome for his own good. And hers too, if she was being honest.

He was dressed in a tight white shirt and black jeans, his dark hair still glistening with water from his shower. She hadn't realized just how defined his muscles were before, but the shirt he was wearing now was making that fact hard to ignore. His trademark sunglasses were perched on his nose as his tongue snaked out and ran over his lips.

"Hi." Rebekah felt the word pass through her lips on a breathy whisper.

For a few moments, Sebastian didn't respond. Then, he cleared his throat. "I got you flowers."

Rebekah took them from his hands, gazing in wonder at the gorgeous arrangement of colours.

"Elise said that you liked tulips so I got you white and red and multicoloured ones which I'm told are supposed to look like a combination of orange and yellow." Sebastian shifted his weight from foot to foot, swallowing several times. When Rebekah still didn't say anything, crease lines appeared on his forehead.

"Crap, I screwed it up, didn't I? If you don't like the flowers, I can go back and get you roses. I mean-"

Rebekah laughed, cutting him off mid-sentence. "Seb, don't be silly." She placed a hand on his arm. "These are beautiful. And I love them. Thank you."

Visible relief washed over Sebastian's face. "Oh." He let out a long breath. "I'm glad you like the flowers, but they aren't half as beautiful as you."

Rebekah snorted. "Uh-huh."

"What? Is my compliment of no value since it comes from a blind person?"

Rebekah buried her face in the tulips, relishing in the softness of the petals as they brushed against her face. "Of course not. It's just that you haven't seen what I look like."

When Sebastian didn't respond, Rebekah raised her head from the flowers, looking surprised. "You're not going to have a comeback?"

Sebastian shook his head. "No." He stepped into the room and shut the door behind him. Rebekah watched him warily as she cradled the flowers to her chest. "But there is something that I need to tell you." He sat down on the edge of her bed, running his hands up and down his jeans nervously.  When he realized that Rebekah was still standing, he beckoned for her to sit next to him. She shook her head, worry lines appearing on her face.

"Seb, you're making me nervous."

Sebastian chewed his bottom lip. The tension in the air suddenly rose and Rebekah felt a rock fill the pit of her stomach. Dread threatened to overwhelm her sanity as she watched Sebastian clench and unclench his fists.

"Remember when we were on the east end of campus a couple of days ago before the sun rose and I told you that, like usual, I couldn't see anything when I opened my eyes?"

Rebekah hugged the flowers a little tighter. "Yeah."

Sebastian let out a long breath and ran a hand through his hair. "I lied to you."

Rebekah felt a shiver run down her spine. "What?"

"I lied. I could see. It was the first time I'd seen in so long that I couldn't believe it and when you asked me whether I could see anything, my first instinct was to say no." Sebastian's face was ashen. "I'm sorry. I don't know why I felt I needed to. I just... I don't know. I felt like you wouldn't like me anyone if you found out that I wasn't blind anymore. Blind me is a much better person than non-blind me and I didn't want to ruin whatever we had by interrupting the status quo and... Beck... please say something."

Rebekah stared at Sebastian, hardly registering his words. Her mind was reeling.

He could see. He could actually see now.

"You can see?" she asked finally.

Sebastian nodded.

"Take off your sunglasses."

Sebastian gingerly removed his Ray Bans and sat them atop his head. His eyes were wide open and Rebekah leaned in closer to look at them. They were focused and the film that had covered them before was gone.

"You can actually see." Rebekah couldn't help the wide smile crossing across her face. "This is amazing!" Before she could help herself, she was laughing, giddy with happiness as she tossed the flowers onto the bed and threw her arms around Sebastian's neck. "I'm so happy for you."

Sebastian's arms wrapped around her torso automatically, pulling her to him. Her body was pressed flushed against his as she pressed a kiss on his forehead.

"You're not mad?" Sebastian sounded astonished.

"Why would I be mad?" Rebekah placed her hands on either side of his face. "This is the best news ever."

"Because, well, because I lied to you."

"Well, you're telling the truth now,  aren't you? That's all that matters." Rebekah looked into the most beautiful ocean blue eyes that she had ever seen, drinking in the colour and the way she felt like she was drowning in them. "You're a good person, Seb. The way I feel about you won't disappear just because you can see now." She smiled, feeling her heart soar. She felt like a mad woman for being so happy for someone else but she didn't care.

For a long moment, Sebastian just stared at Rebekah with his lips slightly parted before he flipped her around and threw her onto the bed, crawling up on her as she protested.

"The flowers! Sebastian! They'll be ruined!"

Sebastian ignored her as he settled part of his body weight on her. Wisps of brown hair dipped into his eyes as they searched her face.

"Still think I'm a good person?" he murmured as he placed a gentle kiss on the skin exposed just above her collarbone.

His lips on her skin made Rebekah's body spark to life. Suddenly, what had seemed like an innocent hug had transformed into something more.

She was on her bed with a boy on top of her-a boy whose hands were lazily caressing her cheeks and waistline.

This could get very bad, very quick.

"S-Seb," she stammered. "Stop."

Almost immediately, Sebastian halted his ministrations. "I'm so sorry." He pushed himself off her. "I-I got carried away. I didn't mean to..." His voice trailed off as he took in his girlfriend's dishevelled state.

"No," Rebekah shook her head. "It's fine. You're fine. I'm just... I'm still learning." She reached out and grabbed his hand. "But I mean what I said. I really, really like you." To demonstrate, she rushed forward and pressed her lips quickly against his. Before he could respond, she pulled back, feeling her cheeks flush a deep red.

Sebastian chuckled. "You can't seriously call that a kiss," he murmured. He tipped Rebekah's chin up so that her dark eyes drank in his face. "Although I do appreciate that that was your first time initiating a kiss, I think you'd better let me show you how it's done."

And before Rebekah had any time to process his words, he closed the distance between them. Rebekah felt her eyelids flutter shut as she luxuriated in the feeling of his lips on hers. She could never understand how the rest of him could feel so hard while his lips could feel so soft. She sank her hands into his hair, enjoying the feeling of it between her fingers.

Then, without warning, his teeth grazed over her bottom lip gently, causing her to gasp at the foreign sensation. With her lips parted, Sebastian let his tongue brush against hers.

Rebekah felt herself grip his hair a little tighter. The feeling of his tongue in her mouth was foreign but she loved it. The way his tongue was stroking hers made her crave more. She wasn't entirely sure what 'more' was but, goodness, did she want it. She wanted more of him- couldn't get enough of him.

She couldn't remember why he was in her room in the first place or why they were kissing. Heck, she couldn't even remember her own name, but she didn't care. The way that Sebastian was kissing her made it hard for her think beyond craving more of whatever he was giving her.

And then there was a knock at the door.

Hello fellow Wattpadians!

I know this update isn't the best and it's *highly* unedited, but I'm in the midst of exams and I don't have time to edit it properly.

Hope you guys enjoyed it though! I reckon the next chapter is going to be a tad awkward for everyone involved ;)

Anyway, what did you think about their make out sesh? Yay or nay? It's my first time writing anything remotely sexual (other than an innocent kiss) so it was really hard for me. Hope it was okay for you guys to read.

Also, a big thank you to everyone who has been messaging me and wishing me all the best for my exams! I appreciate each message very, very much.

Have a fabulous day, everyone!

Percy
