Sensing the change in William, the light in her eyes moved, and she barely managed to reveal a smile, "Really? Did the doctor really say you were all right?"
"Yeah, it's fine with me. Your father and Patrick are here to take care of me. Hurry up and go to sleep."
Beverly said.
"Alright, good night."
Alice hung up the phone under Beverly's urging. Through this phone call, Alice felt a lot more at ease.
It was good that her mother was fine.
Alice returned the phone to William. William turned his body, and used one hand to support his face, as he stared at her with his black yes, "At least you're sensible. I know you are anxious about Patrick even you didn't mention him."
He really liked to define other people with his own thoughts.
Alice laughed bitterly, lying on the ground. Looking at him, she said seriously, "I will definitely go see Patrick, and explain to him clearly. I owe him an explanation and an apology."
Her attitude was frank and natural, and mentioning Patrick only made her feel guilty. If it was any other man, he would have long understood it, but what William believed in was true.
Hearing her say this, not only did his face not turn any better, but also became even gloomier. "You want to cheating on him?"
"I don't."
"You're planning."
"Then don't you have to apologize to Mona?" Alice asked, "Although I don't have a good impression of the woman who snitched on me, it can be said that you owe her, right?"
For a young miss of a noble family to be publicly reneging on their marriage, the news would probably already have spread far and wide. To the proud Mona, this sort of feeling was better than death.
William lied down beside her, using his body to block the incoming wind for her. Hearing what she said, his pupils contracted, and his gaze turned extremely deep.
After a long while, he finally said coldly, "I would not apologize. I don't care if she wants to die."
There was no limit to how cold blood could be.
"Besides, if I apologize, will she accept it? Anyway, she won't accept it, so why should I apologize?" William said confidently.
What kind of nonsense was this?
Alice sighed helplessly, then said, "Anyway, I have to apologize to Patrick. Although I didn't love him, I had already tacitly accepted his offer. Now that things have turned out like this, I really owe him a lot."
She deliberately emphasized the word "I didn't love him."
William lowered his eyes and stared at her, "What do you mean by emphasizing that you never loved him?"
Alice met his gaze. Did he understand?
"You think I would believe you?"
William coldly snorted.
"..." Alice surrendered, not bothering to pay attention to her. She turned around and laid with her back facing him.
"What, you're feeling guilty?"
William leaned towards her, allowing the wind to blow on her, cooling his body, yet not a strand of her hair was moved.
Alice closed her eyes and said in a low voice, "You said that you would believe me in the future."
There was more or less some grievance in his words.
Her voice was soft.
William's chest became numb from her words, and he snorted: "Then, I'll believe it."
How could such a thing be like that?
Forget it. There's still a long way to go. Now that they're engaged, let's take it slowly.
Having known William for so long, she was very clear that she couldn't ask a paranoia to change her mind immediately.
As the ocean gently caressed the beach, William blocked the wind for her. As she laid there, she felt that the night was very cool and comfortable. She grabbed the suit underneath them with her fingers and slowly closed her eyes.
For some reason, she suddenly felt at ease when she heard the voice of the sea.
It had been a long time since he had felt so at ease.
Good.
Time ticked by.
William supported his head and laid behind her until half of his body was numb, but the woman in front of him only left him with his back. SO he extended his hand and poked her back, but there was no reaction.
He poked again.
He poked with all his might.
Alice uncomfortably moved her body, turned around and threw herself into his embrace, looking for a comfortable position. She mumbled something under her breath and continued her peaceful sleep.
Did she fall asleep?
William glared at her, his hands clenching into fists. On the night of their wedding, she had fallen asleep.
"Did you do that on purpose, Alice? Don't think that I will let you off!"
William reached out his hand to tear the dress she was wearing. Alice sleepily let him do whatever he wanted and moaned, "I'll wake up soon after I sleep a little more."
William's hands instantly stiffened as he stared fixedly at her with his black eyes, his expression extremely unsightly.
Who was she talking to?
Patrick?
Was it because Patrick woke her up everyday that she had such a conditioned reflex?
How could she!
William grabbed onto her clothes tightly as he glared fiercely at her sleeping face. He gritted his teeth tightly and his breathing became heavier.
He could trace every detail of her, but he could not find out what they would do when they got home.
In this past month, he had been plotting the engagement ceremony of the North Bay. Every time he was extremely tired, he would think of the scene of Alice and Patrick returning home together, talking and laughing.
She didn't love him anymore, so of course she could find another man.
But she didn't know how much he couldn't stand it. She didn't know how hard he controlled himself so he wouldn't rush up and tear them apart.
Every time, he could only hide in a corner sneakily like a thief, watching her and Patrick return home together.
William grabbed her in front of him, and the thin lip closed in on her ear. He grind his teeth and growled, "Alice, you bastard!"
"What?"
Alice opened her eyes while still in a half awake state and felt William's aura. She whispered, "I'm so tired, William."
Let her sleep.
She was really tired.
"It's nothing, sleep in your sleep!" William hated himself for being useless. He should have grabbed her and beat her up, but when he heard her voice, he couldn't bear it.
"Em."
Alice replied as she closed her eyes and continued sleeping.
William ground his teeth and slowly loosened his fingers. Then he stood up from the beach, picked her up, and carried her to their new house in North Bay. Abruptly, she moved her body again, looking for a more comfortable position in his embrace. She did it very naturally, as if she was really used to his embrace.
Did she have to get used to his embrace?
It was still Patrick's.
William couldn't help but feel suspicious, but this suspicion started to surge in his heart, burning his crazily.
A good night's sleep.
Alice laid on the soft and comfortable bed and opened her eyes. She was shocked by what she saw and immediately closed her eyes.
Was she still dreaming?
What is this place, the bridal house?
After a few seconds, she slowly opened her eyes again. Her eyeballs moved as she sucked in a breath of cold air. This was a new house in the palace.
The ceiling of the room was dizzily high, with white flowers all over the ceiling. In the middle of the room, there were two large letters, 'ON1, embedded in a pink flower.
The entire room was in light gold. It was so large that one couldn't see the end. The inscriptions on the walls were complicated and dazzling, the surrounding golden pillars were wrapped with green vines and blooming flowers, and the fragrance filled the air.
The huge bed was in the middle of the room, with a few pillars arranged in an orderly manner around the bed, as if they were guards.
What an exaggerated new house.
Her eyes were about to go blind.
Alice silently thought. She turned her head and saw William's face, which was extremely close to her. He was lying beside her, with one hand across her body, locking her in his arms.
She quietly gazed at the face in front of her. His facial features were distinct, and the color of his eyebrows was very dark. His eyes were closed, with a hint of sexiness exclusive to him.
Good morning, fiance.
Alice said in her heart as she slowly moved her face closer. She placed a kiss on his thin lip and his even breath brushed across her face.
As if she was in a dream, she woke up beside William in the morning.
After kissing, Alice left, and did not disturb his sleep. She reached out to slowly pull his hand away, and then, she pulled away her blanket to get up.
The ground was covered with the petals of a white rose.
No wonder the fragrance was so strong.
When Alice stepped down barefooted, the flower petals clearly covered a very thick layer, like a floral blanket.
Being rich was really very willful.
Alice thought to herself as she lowered her head to look at her own body. She had changed into a pajamas and didn't wear any underwear.
Needless to say, William must have exchanged them for her.
She had fallen asleep by the sea last night, so she couldn't remember anything.
That William wouldn't do something bad while she was asleep...
Even if that was the case, how could she sue him?
Alice shook her head and went to look for a bathroom. This room was too big that she had the illusion that she was in a palace.
She walked over to the sink and looked at herself in the mirror.
Alice rubbed her face. It had been a long time since she had slept so deeply.
Alice patted her face and picked up the toothbrush to squeeze out the toothpaste. Suddenly, she realized that even the handle of the toothbrush had the word "ON" written on it. It was custom-made, even the toothpaste, toothbrush, and even the towel.
The letter was so full that she almost didn't recognize it.
Alice smiled lightly and started to brush her teeth.
Just as Alice was about to go out after washing up, she heard William's hysterical roar from outside, "Search! Find her for me immediately! Do you want me to teach you how to find someone? Ah? If you can't find her, then quit. Go raise your cows for me!"
That angry in the morning?
Alice walked out and saw from afar that William was standing on the bed and crazily roaring at his phone.
"Who are you looking for?"
Alice walked over and asked curiously as she wiped the skin care products on her hands.
William was standing on the bed. Upon hearing the voice, he suddenly turned around and looked down at Alice. His agitated and angry expression froze on his face, and his phone dropped on the bed.
