"Eh?"
Towards her son, Alice did not know how to react at all. Just as she was about to say something, Kathy had already rushed over and pulled Holy's hand outwards, "Let's go. let's go. Don't do your homework. I will panic when you do your homework, then I can't play happily!"
"Kathy, pay attention to your own words and actions."
Holy retracted his hand, and coldly looked at his sister, lecturing her in all seriousness.
"No. We should go and play together."
Kathy didn't care about what Holy said, and she was about to pull him away no matter what.
Holy frowned, his small face revealing displeasure.
Alice hurriedly walked forward and pressed down on Holy's shoulders, lowering her eyes to look at him, "You really don't want to go out and play? Don't you want to know the local customs and practices. Don't you want to see what was in Shanghai? This is good for your lessons, isn't it? People are supposed to go out and see the world."
Holy raised his eyes and looked at her coldly, pondering about what a local custom was. He lowered his head to her, "Okay."
"That's great, that's great! Let's go!"
Kathy jumped up happily.
The biggest difference between China and foreign country was that it has more people. When Alice brought the twins out, the two children who were raised in Cullens were excited. Kathy saw the people on the streets were shouting excitedly, but Holy appeared extremely nervous.
A clear day was the best time to go out and Play.
Alice brought them to the children's theme park. This was a paradise for children, but the young noble Holy liked to ruin the atmosphere.
"Holy, sit on the Carousel."
"I have a horse named Shirley. He can go through the forest, while it won't do."
"Holy, do you like this bear? I'll buy it for you, okay?"
"There are real bears in Bartz's hunting ground. This eye is just glass."
"Holy, I'll give you cotton candy."
"Eating too much junk food will affect your IQ. Thank you for your good intentions, but I don't want to eat it."
Facing Holy who was looking at the children's paradise with a cold and aloof attitude, Alice quietly withdrew the cotton candy and took a bite, then asked, "Don't you like here?"
"It's fine Kathy likes it. I'll just watch."
Holy said coldly. He raised his eyes and looked at Kathy who was seated on the Carousel, his bodyguard was on top protecting Kathy. Kathy was excitedly waving at them, "Mom! Holy! Come and play together! Come on, come on, come on!"
Kathy was a child.
Alice lowered her eyes as she looked at Holy, and silently took another bite of the cotton candy, thinking he was born just a few minutes earlier than Kathy.
Too old and too cold.
I don't know who he looked like.
Amongst the bustling crowd, Alice was standing beside Holy. The phone on her body vibrated a few times, and she held the cotton candy in one hand and looked at the phone in the other.
It was a text messages from a strange number.
[He came back.]
He's back.
Alice read the message in shock and was stunned for a long time.
Who would send her such a text message?
Who's back? William?
Alice immediately called back the number. After a few rings, the call connected. "Who are you?"
Alice asked straightforwardly, her tone carrying a sense of interrogation.
Holy heard that something was wrong with her tone and raised his eyes to look at her.
Alice stood in front of the Carousel and dropped the cotton candy in her hands. She could not hear the response from the phone, so her eyebrows could not help but knit together." who are you? What do you want to say?"
"Hi, long time no see."
A clear female voice rang in her ear.
"Mona?"
Alice's body trembled. It was unbelievable, how many years had it been since she had last seen Mona, but she could still recognize her voice.
"It seems I left a deep impression on your memory." Mona said while smiling, his tone carrying a bit of arrogance as usual.
"What did you mean by that text message? Who's back?"
Alice asked.
"Who else? I know that you waited for him for four years. The whole world was moved by your love, and everyone wished you a beautiful romantic reunion. But I won't. I'll pass on this information to you, you must be unhappy. Heh." Mona mocked.
"Do you know where he is? Tell me! Where is he?"
Alice shouted out emotionally, her voice especially loud.
The tourists around all looked at Alice with their faces filled with suspicion.
"Hur hur." Mona laughed lightly and said slowly, "He came back."
Her voice was charming as one voice after another escaped her lips. With that said, Mona hung up.
Alice stared at her phone and unwillingly continued to call back. Mona had already turned off, and following that, her number had already become empty. She could not call her again.
Did Mona know where William is?
Alice had once sold out her mother's house and asked someone to be close to Mona as a spy. But in the end, nothing happened.
After that, Mona fell in love with that American man, so she gave up on investigating Mona.
Why did Mona suddenly call her?
He came back.
What exactly did Mona mean by that?
Is William back?
Did he really come back?
"Are you looking for him?" Holy looked up at Alice.
"Yes." Alice nodded, and laughed bitterly: "Sorry about that, I brought you to play, yet I still picked up calls from other people."
This was her mother's fault.
"Legally, a person can not be found after four years could be consider as dead." Holy looked at her expressionlessly and said, "One cannot hide in the world, let alone a famous person. He always needs to come out to do activities, earn money, and find something to eat. Moreover, it is possible that he was kidnapped and then disappeared. You must be mentally prepared for that, he has already been killed."
"How old are you, Holly?"
In a few short sentences, a 5-year-old described her the law, human survival and the theory of kidnapping and vote ripping.
"..." Holy looked at her indifferently and did not speak.
"Are you concerned about Dad too?"
Alice did not believe that a child could casually speak of so many things, unless he had always been quietly paying attention to it.
"I just advise you not to be so naive." Holy lowered his head to her and said coldly.
Innocent.
Her son said she was naive.
Alice knelt down beside him, looked at him and said, "But this time, I'm not being naive. I can feel that he will appear very soon."
Holy turned to look at her, his black eyes deep.
Alice laughed uncomfortably. Her son must be thinking that she was naive again.
Holy played with the twins for an entire day. To be exact, she had played with Kathy for a whole day, because Holy was completely uninterested in this kind of playground for children.
At dusk.
When they returned, Kathy took a look at the new bicycle that was decorated with flower rings and asked Alice to take her riding a bicycle.
The young master Holy was naturally disdainful of such activities, so he sat on the car.
"Wow, I really like flowers!" Kathy stood on the stepping stone in front of Alice and played with the flowers inside the blue fruit. She was so happy, "I'm so happy today!"
Alice rode her bicycle, wearing a thick down jacket and a light colored hat. With her hair flowing behind, she rode her bicycle into the Polytechnic Park.
"Holy! Holy!" Kathy stood on the bicycle and waved to Holy who was in the car, "Riding is so fun!"
Holy remained expressionless.
"No." Kathy shook her head while holding the flowers, sighing, "Holy really doesn't look like a kid."
This pair of twins really are...
Alice did not know how to ridicule these two children. Riding on the bicycle, she turned into the road of the Gallery, raising her head to look, only to see that there were quite a few well-dressed people carrying boxes of stuff in front of the N.E. The media reporters gathered around him, asking him questions. Their movements were too fast that they were moving things around.
Alice reached out her leg to support herself, and looked at the crowd.
She had already called Cullens today to tell them to slow down. Mona might know where William was, but Cullens was indifferent.
They still had to take N.E., not let the economy go down the drain.
She raised her head and looked at the huge N.E., her gaze dim. She had accompanied William there for a long time, watching him work, watching him immerse himself in the development of new products.
"Mom, why aren't you riding anymore?"
Kathy stood on the step in front of her and asked puzzledly.
The car at the side stopped.
"See that place?" Alice pointed towards the N.E. building, "That is your father's kingdom."
But it fell.
It was about to disappear.
"Is that Dad in there?" Kathy asked in a daze.
"He's not here."
Alice said in a low voice.
"Then where is he?" Kathy tilted her face as she asked.
With this sentence, the ruckus in front of the N.E. building became even louder.
The lawyers carried boxes of documents onto the car, while the reporters rushed up with their microphones raised.
"Excuse me, is N.E. going to be sold? Who would he sell it to? How much would the asking price be?"
"May I ask if William's father and his wife will appear?"
"There's news that there are large groups in the United Kingdom and the United States that want to buy it?"
"Will it affect the various electronic products? The technology has been changing rapidly over the past few years. Many people have already eliminated the N.E. system. At this time, you won't be able to sell it for a good price, right?" "Can you tell us how much of a loss N.E. has suffered without William here?"
The reporters swarmed over to ask the lawyers questions, but the lawyers kept their mouths shut. In front of the building was in a state of chaos as more and more people gathered.
"Mom, where's Dad?"
Seeing that Alice was not answering her, Kathy shouted with her young and tender voice.
