My Lord, My Billionaire Master1,876 words~10 min read

"It's dark. It's night."

Kathy stood in front of the easel and shouted.

"It's going to rain. Let's go back." William stood up. He looked up at the sky and spoke with a relaxed tone.

Alice pursed her lips. He really didn't want to waste his time with these children.

"Let's go."

Alice walked over to help the twins put away their easels. Holy didn't have much of a reaction. When Kathy heard about going back, she jumped in dissatisfaction, "I didn't even play properly. I don't want to go back. I don't want to go back!"

"It's not fun to rain."

William said.

"But I want to play here." Kathy looked at William's expression, then went to grab Alice's hand, "Mom, let's play a bit more, okay?"

Alice could not bear to refuse, so she turned and looked at William.

William frowned, but just as he was about to reject, he suddenly heard the voice of the bodyguard, "The rain from the east is coming, hurry up and get on the car, Mr. Cullen. I'll go get the umbrella first."

"Don't go back. Don't go back."

Seeing that she could not play anymore, Kathy disregarded everything and threw herself at William, hugging his thighs tightly. "Dad, play with me for more time. You won't be able to play with us once we go back to England!"

William's brows knitted even tighter after being hit by Kathy. His black eyes turned deep and he said, "Got it. Let's go up first."

Alice looked at him. His eyes were calm and indifferent. It was hard to tell if it was because of the photographer taking photos, or because he loved his daughter.

The torrential rain came pouring down as soon as he said it.

The cameraman started to pack up his equipment while the bodyguards grabbed umbrellas from the car to support Alice and the others.

William carried Kathy and upon seeing that, Alice turned to Holy and said, "I'll hug you, Holy."

"I can walk."

Holy said.

Alice respected his suggestion, as she pulled his hand and walked up the stairs. The bodyguards following closely behind with an umbrella.

The night was dark and depressing.

The staircase twisted and turned. Alice pulled Holy with one hand and extended her other hand to block the wind.

A downpour drifted over with the wind. The umbrella couldn't hold it at all, so she subconsciously leaned her body to the side.

"Yah."

Kathy's voice sounded.

Alice turned her head to look, only to see Kathy sprawled on William's shoulder. Her small hands were wiping the rain off her face, while William's clothes were completely drenched.

William walked behind her and looked at her coldly, not saying a word.

Alice retracted her gaze and continued walking up.

William retreated a few steps, so he was no longer hit by the rain that floated over. He looked up, only to see that Alice's slender figure had always been walking in front of him. She took the rain.

He didn't need to look to know that her down jacket was already soaked through. She shivered.

Rain was blown by the wind. She was afraid of cold and rain. She hasn't recover from the cold, do not she know to dodge?

Once inside a house, the bodyguard immediately turned on the lights. The house was brightly lit.

"You're not wet, are you?"

Alice who was completely drenched checked Holy's clothes.

"Nope."

Holy shook his head. Seeing the wet clothes on Alice's body, she walked up and covered them for him.

"Achoo."

Alice turned around and sneezed. Her throat started to itch again.

"Mom, I'm not wet either." Kathy skipped over to Alice's side.

"As long as you're not wet."

Alice smiled and rubbed her head, raised her eyes and glanced, but William was already nowhere to be seen.

The bodyguard at the side saw and spoke, "Mr.Cullen has gone to take a bath."

"Oh."

No wonder he was gone.

Alice turned her eyes to the boundless rain outside and sneezed. She lowered his eyes to the twins and said, "I'll take you guys to take bath."

Wash the twins first.

"Holy, don't wash with the girls. You and Dad will wash together!" Kathy suddenly said to Holy with a serious face.

Holy was expressionless.

"But I usually help you guys." Alice interrupted and said. Her voice became nasal again.

"that's because dad usually not here. Mom is getting wet. If mom helps us wash before washing herself. She will only be able to wash herself at the end." Kathy was a very considerate little cutie, her small hands pulling at Holy's arm, "Go find Dad then."

"I'm fine."

Alice could not imagine the scene where William bathed the child.

Holy looked at Kathy without any expression, then looked at the wet clothes on Alice's body and turned to leave.

'Holy.' Alice stopped him. She realized that Holy truly favored Kathy and he would normally agree to any request that Kathy had made.

"I'm going to take a bath." After Holy finished, he left.

"The boys take bath together, and the girls take bath together. Let's go." Kathy said happily as she pulled Alice away.

Holy followed the path that William had just taken and walked straight into a large bathroom.

It was dark outside and the lights were bright inside. The fog in the bathroom climbed up the glass and lingered in the air.

In the huge massage bathtub, William sat inside with both his arms crossed and his eyes closed. His handsome face was hidden behind the fog.

The sound of light footsteps could be heard.

William opened his eyes and Holy walked towards him.

"What are you doing here?"

William asked coldly.

"Take a bath."

Holy's voice was young and tender, but it was as cold as his voice. As he spoke, he stepped onto the stairs of the massage bathtub and sat on top of it to take off his shoes.

"It was Alice who wanted you to come and bathe with me? Ask the bodyguard to find another room for you to wash."

William said indifferently. It was fine for him to bathe his son, but Alice would definitely use this to change his son's relationship.

"I'll wash myself."

Holy said as he placed the socks inside his shoes. Then, he began to take off his clothes.

"You will wash it yourself?"

"Yes."

"ok."

Seeing that his son could do things on his own, William was satisfied.

Holy took off his clothes and stepped into the bathtub. William reached out to support him, so that he wouldn't fall down.

The water in the bathtub was placed very high, Holy will drown himself if he sat down in the water. He didn't say anything, just stood there in the water with his little hands supporting him, stubbornly soaking in the water.

William glanced at him.

Holy stood straight in the water, as if he was undergoing military training.

William ignored him and closed his eyes to soak in the water. His eyelashes were extremely long, and were stained with a little bit of moisture.

Very quickly, a small voice came out from beside William's ears.

William listened carefully. It was Holy who used a very soft voice to memorize the Cullen's family rules.

"You haven't take a bath by yourself."

William exposed him.

Holy closed his mouth silently.

In the end, he was still young. No matter how calm he was, his eyes still revealed a trace of panic.

The massage bathtub was too big and the water was too deep, causing Holy to be unable to stand properly.

Seeing his son not saying anything, William did not say anything else. Closing his eyes again, he said word by word, "If you are afraid, you need to overcome it yourself. No one will help you."

So cold.

Holy looked at him, his small hands at his side, and his fair skin pink from the heat.

"Don't you be afraid?"

Holy asked, and this was the first time he asked William a question.

After saying that, William suddenly opened his eyes. Those eyes were completely black, dark and ruthless. He looked straight ahead, as if he had thought of something.

After a long while, he turned his eyes and looked at Holy.

Holy was shocked by the look in his eyes, but he stubbornly continued to meet with William's gaze.

"You like life in England."

William opened his eyes, a pair of deep eyes looking straight into Holy's eyes.

Even when he was afraid, he would still memorize the rules of the family.

Holy was silent, because he did not know why he would ask this.

"If Alice and I really are going to confront the court in the future, you can choose to stay on my side, then you can continue to live in Cullens." William said.

Holy stood in the water and looked at him, pursing his lips but did not say anything.

The light suddenly flickered.

William raised his eyes and looked at the light, and his brows knitted. What problems did the light have now?

Holy followed his line of sight, looking at the flickering lights.

William sat in the bathtub, his eyes staring at the electric lamp which continuously flickered.

Outside, the rain was falling heavily.

William's breathing suddenly became rough, and his eyes lost focus.

The sound of chains dragging on the ground rang in his ears, over and over.

Steel cages appeared before his eyes.

His hands gripped the railing tightly, trying to break free, but the light kept flickering in front of his eyes.

The opposite wall had Alice's face, which was also becoming blurry under the flickering lights.

As William sat in the bathtub, the thin lip suddenly started to tremble.

Holy stood at the side. The flickering light made his eyes hurt as he looked at William.

William used one hand to grab the edge of the bathtub so hard that the veins on his arm could be seen.

On the other side.

Alice bathed together with Kathy at her request.

After taking a simple shower, Alice changed into clean clothes. William did not even bring the spare clothes for the children.

Fortunately, her clothes weren't wet.

"La la la la, I have a happy family."

Kathy opened her hands for Alice to help her get dressed as she hummed a happy song.

Suddenly, the lights flashed on and the bathroom turned pitch black.

"Mum. I'm scared!"

Kathy was so scared that she immediately jumped onto Alice's body.

"It's ok. It just had the power cut." Alice patted Kathy and said gently. "I'm so scared."

"Don't be afraid. Mom is looking for my phone."

Alice said as she comforted Kathy's frightened. At the same time, she fumbled around and took out her phone from her clothes and pressed on the screen.

With a little light, Kathy was no longer afraid, instead she stuck close to Alice and said, "Mom, you're so powerful. You're not even afraid of the dark."

"I was afraid when I was young. After that, I wasn't afraid anymore."

Alice smiled and said.

"Why aren't you afraid?" Kathy was a good child who asked whenever she didn't understand.
