Didn't young master not care about what he eats?
"If you don't like it, then just give it to me. I think it's pretty good." Seeing that, Alice took the bottle of milk from William's hands and drank it. William looked at her, "Do Yurike to speak up for men?"
"He's my foster father."
Alice said.
"Oh." William answered suddenly, and then asked, "So?"
So did he allow her to speak up for other men?
Alice drank her milk silently.
Daniel looked at Alice, then looked at William, and was still unable to understand what this was.
Normally, if Young Master knew that he had been toyed with by Mona for four years, he would be very angry, and would not accept it until he went berserk. But now, why did he feel that Young Master and Alice were as sweet as honey?
As the car drove towards the ancient castle of the Cullen Family, from a distance, Alice could see the majestic ancient castle reflected on the water surface.
The road was covered with fallen leaves. The car passed by in the middle of the road. The fallen leaves were trampled and splashed everywhere. It was as beautiful as a snowflake.
In the morning, it was the busiest time. The servants were all dressed in exquisite work clothes and stopped to bow when they saw their car pass.
Looking at those people, Alice always had the feeling that she was in a movie or TV drama.
She leaned on William and looked outside quietly.
The car stopped.
Alice was pulled out of the car by William and she immediately saw Charles and maids waiting there.
Seeing William, Charles did not look surprised at all, he only respectfully lowered his head, "Good morning, Second Young Master, Miss Alice."
Following that, Charles and Daniel, who was behind him, bumped into each other as the two old men nodded their heads in courtesy.
"Miss Alice, you didn't return last night. Madam is very worried, so please hurry to meet Madam."
Charles said as he looked at Alice.
Alice nodded, "Ok."
As she said that, Alice wanted to walk forward, but she was pulled by William. William looked at her and said, "Go and cook breakfast for me first, I'm hungry."
"But Madam ..."
Alice still wanted to respect the elderly.
"I'll go tell them. You go make breakfast."
William said.
Alice could only nod her head, "Alright then, I'll go make breakfast."
"Don't make anything complicated, just a cup of milk would do."
William cast a glance at her injured hand.
"Then you didn't drink milk just now."
Alice did not realize that William was worrying about her hand.
"How could I drink the milk that Daniel gave me?" William did not care that Daniel was beside him.
Daniel lowered his head and silently counted the leaves on the ground.
"Alright, alright, I understand. I'll go get it."
Alice said as she away. Charles and maids immediately followed him.
William walked towards the door with Daniel following behind him. Once he entered, William took off the jacket he was wearing.
Elizabeth was sitting in the living room, directing the servants to hang a painting. She was dressed in a long skirt with a slim body.
"Mother."
William looked at Elizabeth.
Elizabeth turned her head and saw that William was William. She smiled at him but then her face darkened as she said coldly, "What were you doing? You don't greet me as soon as you arrived but instead asked Daniel to organize manpower. I suppressed the urge to let your father know, or you'd be asked in to talk with him again."
William's face did not show any signs of concern and he directly sat on the sofa with an empty stomach.
He waited for Alice's breakfast.
"Where's Alice?" Elizabeth asked and then sat down gracefully on the sofa, "What, you're afraid that I'll scold her, so come over and apologize for her?"
This Alice really liked acting coquettishly to him too much, making him stand out for her in everything.
"She spent the night with me, what is there for you to scold her?"
William said coldly as he leaned his body back.
"You should at least have an explanation for what you did to me." Elizabeth said with a displeased tone, "Originally, I had arranged for her to have a meal with the Schiker Family last night, but she was not there. I felt embarrassed."
It was that group of noble ladies again.
William was about to speak when a servant walked over and lowered his head, "Madam, Second Young Master. The Old Master asks Second Young Master to the study room for a chat."
"Old master has already gotten up?"
Elizabeth asked.
"Yes."
The servant nodded.
"Then go." Elizabeth said to William, "Bring the soup that has just been brewed in the kitchen over."
"Got it."
William responded as he stood up from the sofa. A servant by the side quickly picked up the soup and followed William.
Alice only made a simple breakfast due to her injuries. She told the maid to carry it to the hall.
Upon entering, she only saw Elizabeth, but not William.
"Madam."
Alice lowered her head towards Elizabeth.
"Do you still know to come see me?" Elizabeth stood there and coldly looked at Alice, she saw the gauze covering her forehead and she was immediately stunned, "How did you get injured again?"
"I accidentally fell to the ground."
Alice touched her head.
Elizabeth frowned, she held back her words and said: "Come, let me take a look."
"Yes."
Alice walked over and sat down beside Elizabeth gently. Elizabeth raised her head to check her wounds and couldn't help but to sigh, "The wedding is near, why is your face covered with injuries?"
"It doesn't matter. I can put on some makeup to cover it."
Alice said.
"Cosmetics will seep into the wound. You may be disfigured! Don't care about your beauty anymore?" Elizabeth tore the gauze over her wound and frowned, "I will get the infirmary to bandage you up again in a while."
Alice sat there smiling without saying a word.
"What are you smiling at?" Elizabeth asked.
"Who dares call themselves a beauty in front of Madam?"
Alice said.
Hearing this, Elizabeth's eyebrows twitched and she looked at her with a weird look, "What, you're afraid that I'll blame you, so you flatter me?"
The words were pleasing.
Alice laughed, "What I said was the truth."
"Enough." Elizabeth patted her, "You should go to the infirmary. Is the food for William? I'll give it to him later." "Yes, ma'am."
Alice nodded, she stood up from the sofa and was about to leave. Elizabeth leaned forward and elegantly raised a cup of water as she was about to drink it. Thinking of something, she said, "Last night, you did not keep the promise for Ms. Schiker, today, follow me to apologize."
Ms. Schiker?
It should be that noble lady who could beat around the bush to humiliate her? It's a headache.
"Yes, ma'am."
Alice still nodded obediently.
"She won't go!"
A fierce voice sounded.
Alice and Elizabeth looked up at the same time, only to see William standing on the stairs with one hand on the handrail, looking at them with sharp eyes.
"Why did you come down so quickly? Has the soup already been served to your father?"
Elizabeth asked.
"Yes."
William replied indifferently. Then he spread open his long legs and walked down the stairs step by step. He reached out and grabbed Alice's hand.
Elizabeth stood there and looked at him in surprise. She vaguely sensed that something was wrong with him.
"In the future, don't ask her to socialize with those noble madams again." William held Alice's hand.
"William."
Alice tugged on William's sleeves. What was he doing?
"Why?"
Elizabeth asked.
"Because I don't like it!" William said straightforwardly.
Elizabeth put down the cup, stood up from the sofa and looked at William, "As the future mistress of the Cullen Family, it is very necessary to interact with the wives and famous young ladies of the aristocratic family."
"It's just a group of women competing with each other. What's the point of it?"
William stood there and said coldly.
"Do you know how many nobles have formed alliances by competing with each other like that?" Elizabeth asked.
"I, William, do not need to rely on women."
William didn't back down when facing his own mother.
"You!"
Elizabeth was so angry that she couldn't speak for a moment.
Alice quietly watched as the two people argued. She was helpless as she could not even interject a single word.
"In short, don't let her wear dress with waistbelt, and don't let her go to social events. She can do whatever she wants and don't use those aristocratic tradition to restrain Alice!"
William looked at Elizabeth as he enunciated each word. He took Alice and left.
Elizabeth immediately felt a headache coming. She placed her hands on her head, her eyes were filled with confusion. What's wrong? Didn't he tell her to teach Alice in an aristocratic way?
Her son had changed too fast.
In the garden, Alice used her uninjured left hand to place the breakfast on the table while staring at William.
William sat there with a sullen face, he stared at the breakfast in front of him but he did not make a move.
The birds in the cage chirped happily. Alice looked at him, then smiled, "Madam didn't intentionally make things difficult for me, she only hoped that I would shoulder some of my responsibilities towards the Cullen Family."
The large Cullen Family needed someone to support it, the more, the better.
She thought this was what Elizabeth wanted.
"But you don't like it."
William glanced at her.
Alice looked at William in surprise and said, "Actually, you already knew that I don't like the rules here, right?"
It was just that he had been holding back until now.
Today, he finally started a quarrel with Elizabeth.
