-You're my painkiller "No way!"
"I don't want to argue."
"If you want to keep this child, we will only argue endlessly!" When William heard her stubborn tone, anger gathered.
Alice turned around and left but was pulled back forcefully by William. Alice looked at him in astonishment, while William glared at her.
Alice glared at him.
William also stared at her.
In the end, Alice stared at him and said, "William, you are afraid that I will suffer from the pregnancy, then, when you continue to stare at me and yell at me like this, won't that be painful for me?"
"How could I yell at you!"
William roared.
"You are not yelling! You're so ferocious!" Alice's tone became harsh as well.
'Tm not glaring at you!"
Alice finally understood what it meant of lying through one's teeth. She looked at him angrily, "Aren't staring at me like this? Or what else can it be? A loving one?"
"I love you from the start!"
William boldly said as he glared at her fiercely.
Alice stood there with the overbearing voice resonating in her ears. He had always loved her, well, very suddenly, Alice felt that her anger suddenly disappeared. She tried her best to remain calm as she said, "William, can we have a peaceful chat?"
Don't argue. Tired. She was really tired.
William had no objections, he put away the books on the chair one by one and said, "Base on the foundation of no baby."
"Base on the foundation of having baby!" Alice also brought up her main point.
"No baby!"
"Having baby!"
"No baby!" William roared out. Alice also glared at him, "Are you yelling at me again?"
"I fucking love you!"
William used a scolding tone to shout it out and didn't forget to press on her shoulders, making her sit on a chair.
Alice looked at him, not knowing what to say. She almost laughed out loud.
But it was weird to laugh in such an occasion.
The ring on her ring finger was very bright, and the heart-shaped ring was very beautiful. Alice looked at it for a long time before she finally raised her head to look at William.
William also looked at her as if he was also thinking about how to explain it to her.
He leaned back against the table. Alice raised her eyes and stared at him, just as she was about to speak, William's low voice sounded out, "I don't want you to suffer any more."
His voice was devoid of irritability and sharpness, and he said these words very plainly.
She looked at him. As if being afraid that she didn't hear him, William repeated his words, "I don't want you to suffer any more."
Alice looked at him and said, "Actually, you want this baby, right?"
"No."
"Don't you want to accompany me in the process of my pregnancy? This is our child. It's a very wonderful gift for us, isn't it?"
Alice said while tempting him.
"You followed me? How long have you been following me?"
"That's not the point."
"That's not the point? I've been on the farm for so long, and the sun light was too strong!" William reached out and touched her face twice, "You can get tanned!"
"..."
Alice looked at him helplessly, not letting him change the topic, "William, don't you want to experience the process of being a father from the beginning?"
She knew he was envious, he was envious of the way the farmer and his wife were together, he was envious of the way the farmer was with his wife when they were having the baby together.
"I don't want to."
William said stubbornly.
He really didn't mean what he said.
Alice raised her eyes to looked his, William asked, "Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Because I don't want to talk to a dishonest husband."
William remained silent as he stared at her for a long time.
Time passed. It had been a long time since they last talked. They just stared at each other without saying a single word.
Suddenly, William pulled her chair close to him, then directly sat down at the desk and took off his shoes. He spread his legs, and stepped on the armrests of the chairs on both sides.
Alice was speechless, "Do we have to talk in this posture?"
This posture was too strange. It was as if she was trapped between his legs.
"Yes."
"Why?"
"I have a sense of security like this!"
Alice looked at him speechlessly. Since when did he worry about this? She did not argue with him again. "Alright, speak, I'm listening."
"Alice." William said her name in a low voice as he stared at her, "Listen carefully, I will only say this once! I don't want you to be in pain again. I don't want to see you rolling around in bed in pain. I'm afraid that at that time, I might still force you to abort, which will be even more harmful to you than now!"
The damage was minimal now.
Alice listened to him calmly.
"I can't control myself. If you get all sweaty from the pain, I really will force you to abort, do you understand?" William stared at her.
"You can control yourself."
"Don't challenge my self-control." William laughed self-deprecatingly, "I am a paranoia, I know I cannot tolerate this!"
"William!"
"Alice, let's give up on this child while the injuries are still small. You can recuperate after a month, alright?" William interrupted her," I can't stand to see you in pain!"
So this was what he was thinking. He didn't want her to suffer anymore.
"Giving up on this child now would be a pain for me." Alice said.
William frowned, "Alice, why must you be so stubborn?"
"Because I love you."
This time, it was her turn to confess.
William sat there staring fixedly at her. He was dazed for a second.
Alice stood up from the chair and raised a hand to caress his face. "William, listen to me, it's different now."
"What's the difference? Ten months of pregnancy, you will have to endure ten months of suffering!" William stared at her.
Just the thought of this number was horrifying enough.
He couldn't do it.
He definitely wouldn't be able to do it.
"The first time I got pregnant, I didn't have you by my side, no foster father, no family, just a cold tower and bodyguards who imprisoned me." Alice looked at him and thought back to that time, "At that time, I really hated you, really hated the Cullen Family, and I really despaired."
She did not forget every day and night in the tower.
Hearing that, William sat on the desk and stared at her. He reached out his hands to hug her in his embrace, "There won't be anyone who can imprison you anymore! That period was over, it's all over!"
Alice stood in front of him and let him hug her as she smiled, "I know what the past is like, and it's exactly because of that that I said this time is different from the last time."
William's body stiffened.
Alice raised both her hands and touched his back as she said gently, "To me, all the depression, hatred, and pain from that period of time had all been reflected onto my own stomach, that's why I acted like that. But there will be no more captives, and you will not leave me, will you?"
William hugged her tightly and refused to let go.
Alice continued, "Compared to the first time I was pregnant, my mood this time is completely different. I have you accompany me through all my pain."
"You said you couldn't stand to see me in pain, but just thinking about that made me feel so good." Alice said, "Even if there were to be any changes in my body, I would not be in as much pain as before, because you are here."
"I'm not a drug. I can't alleviate your pain."
William said in a serious tone.
He couldn't share the pain of having a baby. He couldn't help her.
"You're my best painkiller."
Alice said.
After she finished speaking, she felt William's body fiercely shake, as if he had received a huge blow. She knew that he was already starting to waver.
Convincing William wasn't difficult at all, because deep in his heart, he yearned for this child as well.
"William, let's have want this child." Alice used the softest voice to bewitch him, "Think about it, you will accompany me and watch your child grow little by little. You can listen to the voice of the baby, and you can teach your child, oh, but leave this matter to foetal teacher."
