- Drink Poison to Quench Thirst "Then that's it. I'll make you experience what you did not experience before. Otherwise, how can you remember it so deeply in your mind?"
Alright.
Ferris wheel in the rain.
Alice looked outside, the heavy rain was falling, the sky was getting brighter, the rain was washing against the transparent glass, as though she could feel the rain with a wave of her hand.
"So beautiful."
Alice could not help but exclaim. Her fingers touched the cold glass and the rain started to flow down from her fingertip.
"Of course! I've had people simulate the scenery under all kinds of weather, proving that it's the most beautiful when it rains, but it's still not as beautiful as the computer simulations."
William was a picky person, and he was slightly dissatisfied with this.
"It's already very beautiful. The computer would over beautify it." Alice stood up and walked to the side, looking out the window at the scenery.
The ferris wheel was slowly rising at a slow speed, enough for her to properly enjoy the scenery outside.
This was the first time Alice realized that she could see all these on a ferris wheel.
Suddenly, a pair of hands wrapped around her waist.
William stood behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. His chin rubbed on the top of her head and he breathed evenly. Alice smelt the fragrance of the flowers in the cabin and said with a smile, "I finally found a sense of honeymoon."
"Is this the honeymoon you want?"
William's tone was somewhat mocking.
"Yeah."
"Sitting on a Ferris wheel makes you so happy, huh." William said.
Alice raised her head and stared at him, "Don't you think this is a honeymoon?"
The honeymoon is about two people going out to have fun, to see the scenery they have not seen, to share the mood along the way, isn't it?
William lowered his eyes and stared at her, "I won't be able to have honeymoon in seven or eight months."
"Why?"
Alice looked at him, puzzled.
Hearing that, William glared at her fiercely, "You tell me!"
She didn't know?
She actually dared to not know?
"I don't know. Are you going back to work at the company?" Other than this reason, Alice could not think of anything else, would their honeymoon end like this?
Seeing her at a loss, William spoke with a angry tone: "Alice, I can't have a honeymoon for you, why did you ask me other than feeling touched?"
"What?"
Alice was still at a loss. William also did not explain anymore as he lowered his head and kissed her.
The ferris wheel's cabin ascended to the highest point in the blink of an eye as William's kissed her.
Lights flickered in the rain.
She leaned against him and raised her head to bear his forceful kiss. His upper lips were pressed against her lower lip, his tongue was wrapped around hers.
She wanted to straighten her neck, but William didn't let her. He surrounded her from the back and kissed her tyrannically.
"Hmm."
Alice leaned against his chest and grabbed his clothes.
The ferris wheel stopped in mid air. William kissed her fanatically as if he wanted to swallow her.
Alice's body felt a little weak. Her eyes blurred and she couldn't see anything.
She responded to his kiss as if she had forgotten everything else. Suddenly, William let her go and muttered a curse in a hoarse voice, "Damn! It's like drinking poison to quench thirst! I won't kiss you anymore!"
"What?"
Alice looked at his face in a daze.
What did he mean?
Were her lips poisonous? Alice was confused for a few seconds before she suddenly understood. She leaned into his embrace and her face immediately blushed.
All right.
Now she finally knew what he meant when he said he couldn't have a honeymoon for seven or eight months. This man was too...
Alice blushed and turned her head away. Her neck was sore, she immediately reached for the back of her neck and cried out in pain.
"What's wrong?"
William immediately asked nervously, his voice was still extremely hoarse.
"I twisted my neck."
Alice said honestly.
"Why kiss with your head raised! Come, sit over here. I'll help you massage." William glared at her, pulling her to the side and sitting her down. He rubbed the back of her neck, and his warm palm eased some of her pain.
"I just raised my head and spoke to you. You kissed me."
"How can I not kiss you when you look up at me cutely?" William said, as if this was not his problem at all.
"So you blame me?"
Alice was speechless.
"Yes, it's your fault! It's all your fault!"
William agreed as he rubbed her neck.
"So don't look up at me next time!" William warned her.
"Then if I look at you normally, you won't kiss me?"
"I will!"
William immediately said.
"Isn't that the same?" Alice said, William looked at her as though he was looking at an idiot, "But you won't twist your neck!"
Oh, well, it was her fault.
She was wrong, she was wrong, it was all her fault.
Alice was already at a loss for words. Raising her hand to massage her neck, she said, "Softer, press a few times over here."
"Here?"
William pressed on her neck, "How is it, do you feel better?"
"Yeah, much better."
Alice nodded.
"Then let me kiss you again!" William stared at her lips once again.
"Didn't you say to drink poison to quench your thirst?" Alice could not help but ask, why did he change so quickly?
"Then what if I'm thirsty? I need to drink the poison as well."
William said indifferently as he lowered his head and once again kissed her lips. The kisses on the ferris wheel never stopped.
When they were separated, Alice's lips were already swollen, the ferris wheel had also turned for a circle and a half. She turned to look outside. It was still raining.
"William, there's a garden over there. Let's go take a look sometime." Alice pointed to the garden in the distance.
The garden was large and beautifully decorated. Under the rain and fog, it looked like a painting.
"Tomorrow, I'll take you to row. It's just the two of us, I'll row the boat, and you can enjoy the scenery."
William had already arranged for tomorrow's activity.
"Can I really board a boat?"
Alice looked at him in surprise. She could ride on that kind of small boat and touch the lake with her hand?
"I mean what I said!" William said, "Didn't you like it?"
"Yes."
Alice nodded strongly, and leaned into his embrace with happiness in her eyes.
She sat together with William, looking at the different scenery outside for every second, quietly enjoying the time, "Oh right, William, next time we should spend our honeymoon together with the twins. They definitely like to ride on ferris wheel as well."
"No!"
"There are only us on the honeymoon!" William paused, "I have plenty of time to take them out to have fun later."
"Fine."
Alice did not say anything else. The ferris wheel slowly stopped and the cabin door opened, only to hear the sound of the rain hitting the ground.
Alice reached out her hands to touch the cold droplets. The rose wreaths on the ground was soaked.
She looked at William.
William also looked at her.
The two looked at each other silently. They did not go out either.
"It's really beautiful. William, thank you."
Alice said with emotion. After coming to Little Chinatown, she had finally done what she liked.
"Hmm."
William didn't say anything further while standing at the entrance of the cabin.
Alice stood there for a long time. Seeing that William still did not move, she sighed and in the end, asked, "William."
"Yes."
"You stood here for a long time without moving."
"Hmm."
"Don't tell me you forgot to bring an umbrella when it rained." Alice said somewhat helplessly.
"Ahem."
William stood there and was unable to maintain his lofty image. Slightly embarrassed, he coughed and looked at her, "An umbrella will ruin this place's beauty."
He spread roses all over the ground. An umbrella?
He forgot yet he found an excuse.
Alice shook her head and took out her phone from her pocket. "Alright, it's dead, you can call."
She pointed to the headset on his ear.
"Oh, what a coincidence. Mine is out of power too."
William took out his mobile phone and waved it in front of her.
