Just how can he tell that to me?

I mean, not like I don't like it.

But still, he must filter his words.

Lady, stick on to one choice. My Inner Conscience told me.

Why are you interfering between my thoughts? Who gave you the rights too? I asked my I.C.

I queuing up for the right to invade your thoughts is like a HouseMaster queuing for the right to get in his own house. My I.C told.

I didn't bother fighting him. He was partially true anyway.

Partially? Then please enlighten me of the partial which I am wrong. My I.C told me.

I don't want to talk to you. I have pretty much better jobs to do. I said.

Like what? My I.C asked me.

Like, studying accountancy and finance, budget management, medicine, Grecian Mathematics et cetera. I said.

Aren't you already well-versed in accountancy, finance and budget management? Your medical skills are increasing by thousands within a day. Same for your mathematical skills. My I.C told me.

I am the child of Aesther. Perfection is not a luxury, it is a necessity. I said.

Lol, kid. Big words are coming out of that mouth. I.C.

Whatever. Please, leave me alone. I said and I didn't hear anything more from it.

Good gracious. It knows how to listen.

I then kept my pen down on the papyrus, leaned back on my chair with my face facing the ceiling and closed my eyes.

I then thought about everything that happened within the half month.

Lindon gave me a new guard. I refused at first. But then considering all the advantages I started having him around me.

And him protecting me, is the least one. With him around me, I can make sure that a legal recorder is there whenever Maylene is near me.

I also use him as an excuse to being cold to Maylene.

Also a type of invisible shield. Knowing that he is sent from Lindon, I will always have a peace of mind around him.

These days, Maylene had been calling me to a number story-writing games.

And I have thought that guard on how to respond to that letter always.

Whenever she brings the same content, the guard will stop her telling that it is inappropriate.

But the last time she did it, the guard had gone to report to Lindon, so he could not object.

And yes, I ended up writing. But I discarded it by throwing it in the dustbin.

Maylene surely wouldn't stoop that low, right?

I then scolded myself. Won't stoop that low? Then, she wouldn't have chosen her best friend's lover as her husband, and also not through such a... dirty manner.

Anyway, let us just hope that, she didn't come across that letter. I thought, sighing.

"May I come in, My Lady?" I heard Belle's voice and a smile automatically crept upon my face.

"Yes, please do." I said.

She came inside with a tea tray. She then set down the tea on my study table.

A smile crept upon my face as I saw the type of tea she brought.

"Your knowledge on tea is increasing." I said.

"I have been walking along with you for a long time. Some of your characteristics must have flown to me." She said, smiling.

She then poured the not too hot, but then again much warmer than lukewarm, green tea onto a cup.

Green tea, medically, will help to relieve from stress. And this is exactly what I want right now.

"What happened, Ana?" Belle asked.

Yeah, now she is quite comfortable with calling me Ana in private.

"Nothing. Just the usual." I said.

"Is it because of the upcoming wedding?" Belle asked.

Yay! As if for a cherry on top for all my miseries, that damn marriage is coming, or should I say, running?

But then again, even good things have happened to me.

The relationship between me and Lindon got way better. But my cheeks still blushes quite red, when he mentions something... flirty.

"You are thinking of Sir Lin?" Belle asked.

"Pardon?" I asked.

"You are smiling." Belle said.

"Don't I smile when I am thinking about my Father?" I asked.

"You do. But then, you don't blush." Belle said.

"I-I..." I didn't get words to finish.

"So that means I am right." Belle said, smiling.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah." I waved it off.

"One more thing, Ana." Belle said, getting all serious.

"What is the matter?" I asked.

"The designer has come." Belle said.

"I'm sorry?" I didn't understand.

"Didn't I tell that all the wedding preparation will be done by the Palace?" I asked.

"True. But they can't take the Empress's measurements to make your dress, Ana." Belle said, smiling.

"Wow, Belle. You are getting quite quick-witted." I said.

"Again, I have been with you for some time." Belle said.

"Then, since the designer is already here, why the wait?" I asked and got up from my chair and walked towards the door of my Study Room.

"We might as well as finish it off." I said, descending the stairs.

Time flew by.

"Your measurements are ready, Lady." The designer said. "Now, please choose a dress." The designer said and I sat on the sofa.

I shook my head as each design went past me.

Suddenly, I saw it.

"That is the one." I said, getting up and walking up to it.

"You have a good eye, Lady. Then shall I prepare this dress, Lady?" The designer asked.

"Yes, please, and also..." I said and looked around.

"That one too." I said and pointed to a random dress.

"Oh, then I shall prepare that spare one too." The designer said.

"No, you shall prepare both the dresses. Prepare the second one first. The first one, you can take your time." I said.

"So..." The designer got confused.

"The second one will be my marriage dress." I said.

She looked confused, but then nodded.

"Once my dress is customized, is it possible to be changed for another person?" I asked.

"Generally, yes. You see, the woman who buy dresses from our shops are not peasants.

The Noble ladies are broadly divided into, according to our shop, Pure Nobles, and Working Nobles. In which both Nobles are women.

Since the Pure Nobles all have almost the same size and et cetera, and Working Nobles also have almost the same size.

So, in conclusion, the dress of one Working Class can be worn by other Working Class, and the dress of one Pure Noble can be worn by other working noble.

But there is a difference in your case." The designer said.

"Pardon?" I asked.

"Yes, Lady. You are a Pure Noble indeed, but your body features are that of a Working Noble. And that too, a very working Noble.

So I don't think that there is anyone in this world except you, who can wear this dress." The designer said and I smiled.

As she exited, she muttered, "Noble Ladies are so hard to understand." She said and I smiled.

After she got out, Belle turned to me.

"May I ask why you did that, Ana?" Belle asked.

"The first dress, was very beautiful." I said.

"Exactly." Belle said.

"And I want to wear that on my real wedding." I said.
