With only two days before Sahara wanted to teleport back to Felix, to take him to the Auction house, Sahara fell asleep even before dinner in total exhaustion!
Matthew could only watch over her as he continued to go through as many people as he could and see if any of them understood the reason to becoming a Ministerâ¦Or showed a potential in any other type of âcareerâ. He wasnât used to looking at theseâ¦Jobs as âcareersâ but Sahara mentioned that people are people and we all work, so why should there be a difference between a farmer and a minister. They are both important jobsâ¦
There were people who would look after children, so he had to write down something about obtaining an orphanage, then there were people who had a great technique in cooking, but no restaurant.
Even if he still wasnât sure about his own opinion yet, he took up the idea of it and started to think of each criterion for each âcareerâ and it seemed easier to differentiate between them.
Some people were bad at writing but held a great potential in military aspects. Even if they didnât become the leader of the future army of Purple Haven, that person shows potential to be seen in high regard. There were those who wrote well but did not say what Sahara wanted in the way of being good for being beside the emperor, so Matthew thought that this person could be better suited as a teacher, and wrote a note stating this and to find out how much more they may know about the basics of writing, history and English.
Many of them held potential, but the potential was spread out into groups of âcareersâ and Matthew was happy to announce that the candidates for Ministers had been able to be dropped from seven hundred people, down to two hundred.
Being a Prince and having been in court with his Emperor Father, Matthew was quite grateful now, as he knew of quite a lot of types of âcareersâ and it helped tremendously!
He even considered a couple of the people to be the start of a secret lot of people to protect the future Purple Haven Emperorâ¦
What had surprised Matthew even more, was that his lovely wife had already thought about how to introduce Sum back into Purple Haven. Of course, he hadnât been here before her, and she had thought a few times about this in the last six months.
Since the Auction House, Sahara had found that her idea might not be as bad as she had originally thought. Now that she was most likely going to get some Sum from selling pills, she wanted to introduce Sum back, by giving everyone an equal share at the same time. After that, it would be up to the people themselves to provide for the future and spend it how they wished.
At first, months ago, this wasnât a great idea because that would mean a desperately, large amount of Sum and a large number of ore that Sum is used withâ¦
But, now that she may get an income from selling pills, and not knowing what she would spend her Sum on anyway, she was willing to think that Purple Haven was more important. That, later, when the future Emperor has come and completely taken control once again, she will then perhaps think more thoroughly on saving for herself instead.
Already, she has wondered if she should give the Auction House more than one pill to sell, wanting to get enough Sum to buy all the ore needed and enough to place enough Sum in each one, for the people who were to receive themâ¦Nonetheless, the âideaâ was still just that at the moment and may not even turn out the way the new emperor wanted anywayâ¦
â¦It was just an ideaâ¦
Matthew was surprised even more, that she had ideas on how to give out land once againâ¦Of course, she had only written ideas, as she hoped that Prince Seth and his new Ministers would work this out themselves, but nonetheless, the information will be forwarded to the Future Emperorâ¦
Mostly, her idea still formed across the fact of giving people an equal share. A few âlandsâ had been stated as âprosperousâ and a few lands were quite âshabbyâ, and she was unsure on what to do with those, but having seen quite a few places that looked equal from âaboveâ, she was sure half the population should be able to have the same as many othersâ¦
Land had not been given to anyone yet, even land that was already apparently owned was now not owned, so Sahara needed to make sure that when land is taken, it is given to the right people. Again, it was just an idea asâ¦Some people still love their birth home and probably want it back, so what was their to do about that? Ultimately, Sahara just wanted to give less things for these people to differentiate each other from. If they were equals in living and in currency, how were they going to bully each other in those aspectsâ¦Or would it not work anyway?
She didnât want people to take a good piece of land for selfish reasons, when another could be there and provide better for itâ¦Yet, who was she to do all this! Who was anyone to do anything like this!
It all gave Sahara a headache and made her wish to just abolish everything so that there were no homes for anybody!
â¦There was just so much to consider! And so many people to keep at bay!

This was just another thing that people hadnât liked her doing, yet another reason that she had blocked cultivation bases and state plainly that Purple Haven had to start from scratch, and that they had best accept itâ¦
She knew humans werenât very good with such big changes, but having a Haven fall as far as it had, things had to go back to the beginning, and itâs best to keep everyone in mind, instead of just a fewâ¦
Luckilyâ¦Nothing bad has happened as of yetâ¦Butâ¦
Matthew couldnât help but get a bad feeling about some of the people here, especially with those threats on the parchments that were now burntâ¦Perhaps he should have kept them as evidence, instead of destroying themâ¦

The next day, Sahara demanded five of the people that Matthew personally approved of, for becoming Ministers, and read the contents herself. Afterwards, she wrote a letter and sent a copy of the âapprovedâ parchments off to Prince Seth himself and told him to start getting prepared for his step into becoming the future Emperor. Her letter stated everything that she was doing, holding nothing back, and that she was willing to hold or even stop something if he didnât like it. That she was only here to help and had no intention to even stay at Purple Haven long term, so that he must be prepared to get his people and himself to take over from what has been started.
Of course, Prince Seth, being the person that he was, was stunned to receive such news. He had been put away in seclusion for so long and now he wasâ¦Going to be the emperorâ¦Aâ¦Very busy Emperorâ¦
He knew of it, and even His Majesty the Emperor of Green Haven had stated it at least once before, that he was indeed the next sovereign of Purple Haven, butâ¦It was real now! All the situations of his Haven were in front of himâ¦
In about a month, he will be crowned and be known as âThe Emperor of Purple Havenââ¦
His subordinates were ecstatic! And his Princess seemed genuinely happyâ¦Especially since she will even give birth to their first child in their own Haven.
After a good hour, Prince Seth hardened up and seemed to understand his duty once again.
Yes! Iâm going to take good care of my people!
Taking his Princessâs hand, he felt even better. Looking outside, his loyal companions were close by, then there was Green Haven men not too far awayâ¦He will do what he can to repay everything back!
Becoming so serious, that a day passed by easily, Prince Seth went through the parchments that were sent to him and he looked towards the future.
What can they provide for my Haven?
Of course, for an emperor, this was just the beginning. He still had to endure through his people overcoming this ordeal and then get some normal civilized living come back. Then, with all this, heâd may have to deal with the normal lonely life of an emperor, who probably wonât be able to completely trust anyone by his sideâ¦
A lot of big days will be coming up for Prince Sethâ¦

Sahara came up with material for the kids to paint on. It was more of a 21st century Earth material and it was probably as big as football fieldâ¦Or two!
She gave them purple paintâ¦Then they wanted red, then blue, then they wanted greenâ¦So she gave them yellowâ¦
Itâs so much fun to confuse kids, only to have them go wide eyed at getting what they had wanted, even though it was a completely different color!
Gotta love the primary colors!
After an hour, she filled up the red, blue and yellow big buckets of paint and just let them do whatever they wanted. The âflagâ was huge, so they could be doing this for hoursâ¦Or perhaps days! Strangely, the flag that Sahara had pictured in her mindâ¦Was not the one being createdâ¦
The kids seemed to have gone a bit crazy with the paint and some of the material had to be fixed, because of them being a little too rough with itâ¦But, they had smiles on their faces and paint on their hands, feet and facesâ¦They had never looked so cute to Saharaâ¦Their rough looking faces were nowhere to be found!
The flagâ¦Had purple but wasnât completely purpleâ¦It was more of a mess of colorsâ¦The only thing Sahara made certain of, was that the words of âWelcome home, Prince Sethâ could be read properly!
Actually, Sahara felt like a pretty good baby sitter on this day! Watching the kids was as easy asâ¦Drinking teaâ¦Yeahâ¦
Anyway, the people who usually watched the kids, half of them went for a swim while they could, and the other half helped the pregnant woman, who seemed to make âpaintâ come out of nowhere!
After they were finished for the day, Sahara made a long metal pole, attaching the âflagâ first, then made it grow very long. It wasnât like they couldnât bring it back down if they wanted to paint some more, but letting it dry, while it was waving so high, looked really awesome!

The next day, Sahara had to do some tests. Since she got and made some more parchments, Steven and Matthew were to do the âwriting and math testsâ and she went to the people who seemed to think that they had âideasâ.
The writing test was simple, as Sahara had just written a few verses of rules that they should know about anyway and all they had to do was to elaborate on them, pretty much write down what they thought it meant in their own words. Doing this kind of âtestâ reminded her of the historical dramaâs that she had seen in her past life, something that sounded like confusismâ¦Confushismâ¦Confushianismâ¦
Whateverâ¦Something like thatâ¦
Her memories of the past werenât the best anymore, now that she had lived here for over a decade and was even happier now that Matthew was always by her side. So, even though she remembered watching dramaâs, the plot lines or the characters were dimmed, and she could barely remember any titles of the showsâ¦
The math was a little harder, as she couldnât write a whole heap of math questions on a whole heap of pages, like that of Earth, so again, she had a big parchment stating some math questions, that Matthew had helped with as well.
Both the writing and math questions get harder and harder, but it should be completed within a few hours, yet, if people know how to do it fluently, they could be finished within an hourâ¦
Again, as the test goes on, they wanted to know how much they knew and how much they understood, to see what kind of person they were and what they could potentially achieveâ¦
But, where Sahara was going, wasnât a silent heap of men putting brushes to parchmentsâ¦In fact, quite a few of the people in her âtestâ, if Matthew would notice, were the untrustful questioners from when they were talking about Prince Sethâs return to Purple Haven.
â¦Upon walking onto the fieldâ¦Which was not glowing, because the sun was behind some clouds, Sahara still hadnât much of an idea on how she was going to get their ideas or notâ¦She had no parchment or brushesâ¦She just had words! Andâ¦There was at least two to three hundredâ¦Maybe four hundredâ¦Menâ¦Hereâ¦
With just herâ¦Saharaâ¦A pregnant woman!
This was a little scary to herâ¦Not because she was surrounded by hot, blooded malesâ¦But because she wasnât completely sure how she was going to do this yet!
Maybe, I should have gotten Matthew to come with meâ¦
Sahara stood out before the crowd of men and looked at them silentlyâ¦
What am I going to do!?
