CHAPTER 215 **Matilda And Katherine**

Band Two agreed to accompany Sahara and so the next thing to do was to come up with any type of plan, considering that they were coming back after about twenty years or so…Perhaps too about where they might ‘come from’ or who they were…Could they even be the same people, and if they were…Could they explain where they had been all this time!?

Out of many ideas, including that of memory loss or not even going at all, Sahara settled with changing her look to that of someone completely different. Band Two also choose to be someone completely different too, as Sahara told him that he will no longer be a Band upon returning. He felt a little unhappy that there was probably even less chance now that Band One will ever know him but accepted it…He did put his slight heartache into his decision though.

With all the knowledge that Sahara drilled into him, Band Two still decided to become a female, with the name of Katherine. As much as she told him how annoying being a female was…

The problem was, the chance was indeed there, and the spiritual essence would happily agree to whatever request that he made…And well, that slight, buried and small chance that he had sorta stamped itself into him, as soon as he heard that he could do it…

Whatever!

Of course, that wasn’t the only thing that he could have become, they stated that he could have been a beast from the wilderness if he wanted to!

…Nahhh!

Sahara also changed her name to Matilda, finally wanting to come through with one of her revenge plots or dreams back in the day!

So, it was Matilda and Katherine now, and they both accepted to look different. Since Matilda used to have brown hair, now she had blonde, Katherine was the same. They then accepted a blue eye colour, then just stated that they might as well look a bit like siblings and so…They now were ‘siblings’…Then, after some time to allow themselves to smile over this bringing them some type of excitement, they also asked to become twins!

It was like a light at the end of the tunnel for Katherine! It was actually quite a big light!

Katherine may not have said anything about the big reason upon why he was adamant on being female, but Matilda knew already. She knew that if there was if but a slight chance to be with the love of his life, he’d want to be someone that Band One would be more comfortable with…Perhaps…Well, you might as well take up the chance!

Actually, it was almost like it was destiny, that Band Two had this chance, almost like his life led to this very moment where he felt even more like himself and who he wanted to be…

Nonetheless, the basics were now done! They had decided on who they would be and knew of their mission…

…And then the next ‘show’ was going to start!

It was a big deal!

Never had nobody seen anyone appear out of nowhere and become ‘made’ like that!

The spiritual essence made good on their promise and indeed brought Matilda and Katherine back to life, just like how Sahara’s father had been done and how they had done many times before when they redo the world.

The breaths that Matilda breathed in first hurt like crazy. They were deep breaths, as though she had been in deep water for way too long!

Katherine was very similar and both of them had no idea of the Golden Haven people that hovered around the centre where they suddenly came to be.

Holding their chests and closing their eyes tight, they slowly got used to what felt like newly made bodies and a new way to live and opened their eyes…

Groaning, Matilda could not get up, nor was she able to open her eyes for too long…

Everything felt new. Her eyes, her lungs…Her pulse. Hell, perhaps she had liked not worrying about all this stuff more then she had thought!

It felt so ‘new’ that she was sure that perhaps things were different…

Why does it feel like she would do a better job at this than that of the spiritual essence!? She was sure that her father had not felt this way upon returning!

Trying to get up, Matilda finally heard a voice from the silent crowd, “Who are you? What…Are you?”

Katherine, still not feeling great, went to Matilda’s side in protection. Their arms and legs felt a little flimsy…

Feeling like she got a bit cheated upon how and where they returned back, Matilda sighed.

Actually, it did make sense, considering if a Golden Haven Emperor was found, then being in Golden Haven and becoming some voice to the people, it might be able to be carried into other Haven’s too.

It was right in the middle of the day though! Why couldn’t they do it at night and out a bit from what looked like a populated area!? Now they were some sort of freaks!

“It’s fine…Go back to what you were doing, we were just…Sparing…”

“Didn’t look like sparing to me! It looked painful!”

Tell me about it! I died and came back to life!

Katherine helped Matilda up and they looked at each other and sighed.

“You, both of you don’t look at all familiar.”

Neither do you! When I was here it was just like ten people…Maybe…

Matilda forgot how many there were but stilled when she thought of Steven, another person that she had tried not to think too much about…

“Can’t people come here, you know, because it’s a better place? Didn’t you?” Matilda asked.

“Who told you it was a better place?”

Matilda frowned, “It’s Golden Haven! The Golden Bridge originates from here and the…The…Umm…The Golden Emperor!”

“Pfft, Golden Emperor…”

Matilda turned and saw people start to walk away.

She wiped at her clothes, thank god for clothes, and looked at Katherine.

Ah, she needs to lose that vigilant look. That was a Band thing…Isn’t it strange how even now that he’s a her, she still has that same look!

“Oi,” Matilda whispered, “Lose the Band look!”

“Sorry princ…Matilda!”

“Tilda!” Matilda sighed.

“What’s going on here!? Get back to work!” A man then came out from his highchair, or whatever, and Matilda couldn’t believe her eyes as she saw someone familiar!

Who was that!? It wasn’t Nate but…Who…

Ah! That other one in the army!

With this, Matilda was now certain upon having the powers of mind reading, as she came to know his name was indeed Keith

Wasn’t Nate supposed to have been killed or something!? Oh wait, maybe not…But this man, perhaps no one really even knew much about him…

“S…Sorry!” Matilda said, pretending to be a part of the crew.

“Stop, you, come here!”

Trying to continue to get away from the area, Matilda flinched upon hearing sharp words, “Stop, you two girls, come here!”

Matilda turned around and pretended to smile. Walking slowly towards Keith, Matilda eyed Katherine being vigilant and coming as well.

“Ah, very pretty. Put them in my chambers tonight!” Keith yelled, obviously to some other people as they got up and went towards the two girls.

“Haha, sorry but I’m taken!” Matilda stated, moving closer to Katherine and getting ready to teleport away.

“Whether you are married or not, I do not care! I will be the Golden Emperor and I will take as I please!” Keith stated, quite openly.

Matilda eyed him and couldn’t back down, “If one becomes the Golden Emperor he has a wife from each Haven, it is a way to make it fair for all the haven’s, haven’t you already a wife from here?”

Uh? What am I doing? One, I don’t come from here and two, what if he doesn’t!? And…Why do I fucking care!?

“What is this? Do you not know who you are talking to!? How dare you talk back to me! Whip her! As soon as her wounds are healed put her in my bed!” Keith yelled and got back onto his highchair, that was being carried around by what looked like servants…Or slaves…

“You are making me angry!” Matilda quietly said, holding tightly onto Katherine’s hand now.

“…Tilda?” Katherine whispered.

Was it really something that she needed to tend to straight away?

She came back here because of a reason and well, she was fed up with being patient and trying hard to get to the hearts of men. Well perhaps it was the hearts of men that were around her, if they were maybe far away and not being nasty to her it could be a different story!

Yet, this man…He’d done nothing but make things hard for everyone in his past, hell, even in the present! He had killed many and forced many situations! Granted, he wasn’t the worst, he was actually a bit of a scaredy cat, which had indeed helped him live till now but…If she were to judge this man, right here and now, as well as the others that were going to attack and take them away forcefully to do their will…

“I will warn you once! I am not in a very good mood!” Matilda stated. She had wished to have been given more time to sort of get used to being alive again and having a better look around, but she hadn’t had the chance to breath yet!

“You…You are warning me!?” Keith let out a laugh and Matilda saw that he still did not take her seriously. He had not once thought to use his cultivation in defense or to be on some kind of guard of her…

It almost felt like pity to kill this silly man…

But…

“Well, it’s not like I can’t just bring you back if I feel bad about killing you…” Matilda mumbled.

The powers at her disposal were immense and she was different now. She had less feelings for those who wanted to make her life hell and she didn’t want to take crap from anyone!

The sooner she can get everyone united or playing nice with the spiritual essence, the sooner she can…

Matilda took a deep breath in and coldly looked at Keith one last time.

Matilda closed her eyes, used a strengthened strand of her hair and then got ready to hurt anyone that came towards her and Katherine.

And just like that, when Keith got on his highchair, to look back at her, all he saw were bodies falling to the floor and her glare at him.

She wanted to yell to him that he had a warning!

On the other hand, Keith was a bit baffled, but that glare…That glare gave him goosebumps!

“Get her!” Was all he said, in what seemed like anger!

Matilda finished the last one that went to attack her and Katherine and then raised her eyebrows at Keith before turning away with Katherine.

For the first time in a very long time Keith, felt edgy. The glare that that pretty girl had was interesting but quite scary at the same time!

His men had fallen, and he was alone, he had more elsewhere but this was supposed to be his Haven!

But…Even though it was ‘his haven’, Keith had no intention of following that beauty. Woman like her was something he should just stay away from!

The problem was, this woman was in his haven and so he had to deal with her in some way…But how!?

Matilda sighed to his thoughts and so the piece of strengthened hair also went through another body. She might be more of a killer now than before but…It was the end of the world, and she was threatened…Again!

Keith, who had worked hard and become the temporary ruler of Golden Haven just suddenly became nothing.

If perhaps he had treated Matilda better straight away, he wouldn’t have met his death today. It was anticlimactic and almost sad that the one who probably wanted to be the Golden Emperor the most, or second most, was now dead!

Of course…There was still another that wanted to be the Golden Emperor and was indeed still alive…It was the brother, Nate…Who indeed had been working hard, as usual, to become the Golden Emperor!
