I practised alot that year. Alot, alot. Everything from some obscure but relatively simple forging techniques, to complex uses of runes and how to weave them together. After said year, my technigues in forging and inscribing improved by leaps and bounds, and my desires only grew stronger after seeing such immense progress.
âYour progress was more than i expected, but thats good. Now, i want you to create a tier 3 set of equipment. So shoeâs, pants, chestplate, helmet, sword and a utility item. You have this entire year to come up with how you want to forge your equipment and then inscribe it wi the runes and weaves. And just like you did with your starting rune, you will make and test, and make and test. Rinse and repeat until its as good as you can make it or the one year timer is up. Understood?â
Yes.
And so i spent the next year thinking about what to make, then theorizing how to do it, fail miserably because it doesnt actualy work, then think about what went wrong and how to fix it.
Stolen story; please report.
For my boots i decided id use the idea for my own tier 3 rune and give it a spin, instead of a pool of water appearing underneath an enemy, i decided id make a path of water appear underneath my feet. So that said water can slide me in any direction i want. So now that i have a movement skill covered. Whats next? I think a defensive skill would be really nice, i decided id make a wall of condensed water appear before me on activation, we now have a defensive and movement skill, now we probebly want an offensive skill, i decided on making presserized water jets that shoot wherever i want them to. Now, i still have my helmet, my weapon and utility item left to inscribe runes and weaves on.
For my helmet i decided on making a skill to hinder my opponents bu creating a tsunami of sorts. For my weapon i first had to decide what weapon i wanted before inscribing them, i chose the spear. I chose it because its supposedly good and i wanted to give it a try, i didnât do any fancy move or skill for my weapon, just a water touch rune weave, basicaly imagine a spear with some kind of water aura that deals extra damage.
Now we just have a utility item over, i decided that id make an item that can temperarily allow me to breath underwater, it isnât anything fancy, but it works.
Now, to show it to master.
