First day of many

After what felt like hours of contemplating my decisions and thoughts. We arrived at what looked to be a narrow cave, but once we stepped inside. Everything changed, it turned into a cozy home. Albeit with no doors or windows.

“We’ve arrived, for now you should get some sleep. From tomorrow onwards you're going to have to learn, and practise alot.”

So I slept, I dreamed about the power I could have, about my revenge and about my upcoming training. And training it was, the moment i woke up, the man grabbed me and put me down on a cushion before a table.

“Time to start with our first lesson. On the path of runemasters, one of the very first things to do is choosing an element. Said element will be the focus of what you’l learn. And runes using that element will be more powerful than runes using another element.”

What elements are there? And how do i know wich one to choose?

“Theres alot of them anything from fire to space, of course some elements are harder to master than others. As for wich one to choose? Choose the one you think fits yourself the best. Ill give you this booklet, it contains most of the known elements and some explanation about their strenghts and weaknesses.”

Do i have to choose now? Because i dont really know what i’d want.

“No. You can keep the booklet for a week, after that you may choose. Ill also give you a few hours per day of freetime to reflect and decide on your element. For now though, we’ll start with something else.”

And so i spent the entire day learning about the basics of runes, how to use them, and a little bit of how they work. Now that i have freetime though, i have to start deciding on my element.
