Hello Everyone! This is my final chapter of my story. This chapter will include some flash forwards, it will include a bunch of different stories of Eleanor and Gilbert's future. I hope you all enjoy!

(And we're just going to pretend that's Eleanor and Gilbert kissing hehe)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Well! Here it is." Gilbert sighed as he flopped onto the box he had just sat down, the final box from the carriage that he had to rent once he and Eleanor got off of the train in New York.

"Doesn't it just make you want to cry?" she smiled as she twirled in the open room.

Gilbert looked around and chuckled, the small one bedroom one bath apartment that Eleanor's aunt had given them seemed to make him want to cry.

"I know it needs some work...but at least Aunt Sherrie was sweet enough to let us live here! Rent free!" Eleanor squealed as she began to open up some boxes.

"I can't argue with that." Gilbert shrugged and got down on his knees to help her unpack.

In no time, the two were able to unpack most of their decorations and everything. It wasn't much but it was small enough items to make the room feel more like home.

"Now we much hurry and find furniture before the stores close for the evening. My father has a friend in downtown queens that is letting us have a pick of the store, my father said he will pay him however much our furniture is." Eleanor smiled as she grabbed her purse and pulled Gilbert up.

Gilbert smiled at the girl as he was dragged out of the apartment and down the two flights of stairs. He always knew that Eleanor was a little spoiled, but she truly did mean well. Although she was given everything she wanted at a young age, it came with the cost of never seeing her father, that was out making money for her spending. And never being able to truly connect with her family, besides being given rich and lavish gifts.

Although she came from lots of money, she was still one of the most humble people that Gilbert had ever met. She wanted to use the money that her father gave Gilbert for some projects around the city to help make it more "homey" as she calls it.

"Gilbert! Come on hurry! The shops only open for another two hours and we must be quick! I want to look at EVERYTHING!" she squealed, pulling her boyfriend into a horse drawn carriage.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After two and half hours of walking and picking out furniture, Eleanor and Gilbert had decided on the few perfect items that would make their apartment flourish.

The owner, Billy Crenshaw, said he would have the furniture shipped directly to the two kids apartment. And the bill would go straight to Mr Park's office in New York, where it would quickly be written off as a business expense.

Eleanor almost seemed to jump with joy as she walked back into her and Gilbert's empty apartment.

"Oh wasn't that the most lovely evening Gilbert? The furniture was all so beautiful! And Mr Crenshaw was so sweet, he even said that his men could have all of the furniture moved and set up how we like it! Oh I could cry I'm so happy." she beamed.

Gilbert chuckled as he pulled her in, their lips smashed against each others in a rhythm of passion. As Gilbert pulled away, he was quick to take Eleanor's small face in his large hands and rub his thumb across her cheek.

"We'll both be starting school soon, are you sure you will be able to handle working a store and attending school?" Gilbert asked, his voice low and worrisome.

"I'm sure I'll be fine love, I'm going to hire help I promise. This is my dream Gilbert, and I'm not going to let it slip by all because of tending to my studies. I was able to pass with all A's last year, college will be a breeze. Plus, I have you." she smiled and kissed his thumb as it passed over her lips.

Gilbert's worrisome expression seemed to melt from his face as he listened to her, his cheeks turning a soft red as she spoke the last words to him.

"I love you." he smiled.

"I love you more."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Many Years Later)

"Willow! Ollie! Come down here, breakfast is ready!" Eleanor's voice called from the lower floor.

The sound of two sets of feet came barreling down the stairs before skidding to a halt at the kitchen door.

"I win! I win I win I win!" Ollie chanted as he poked his sister in the side.

She giggled and swatted his hand away before messing up his hair, to which he grumbled at before fixing it.

"Make sure to wash your hands before you eat, do not let a repeat of what happened last time happen again." Eleanor warned with a smile on her lips.

The kids giggled before hurrying off to the kitchen sink to wash their hands.

Eleanor chuckled and shook her head at the twins before finishing setting the table. The sound of heavy footsteps made her glance up, Gilbert was standing in the doorway struggling to tie his tie.

"Could you help me darling?" Gilbert asked with a hopeless look on his face.

Eleanor giggled before waddling over to him, her seven month pregnant stomach made it harder for her to do simple things, such as walk or put on her shoes.

She quickly and efficiently tied Gilbert's tie before pulling on it slightly, forcing him to bring his face closer to his. He took the bait and placed a kiss on her lips. The children behind the couple gagged and yelled "ew" as the couple chuckled and kissed once more before heading to the table to eat breakfast.

The kids were quick to dive into their strawberry pancakes and potatoes. Gilbert melted at the first bite, devoting his entire plate of food in just a few bites.

"Busy day today?" Eleanor asked as she watched Gilbert spring from his seat and grab his suitcase.

"Oh yes, we have an autopsy today and I'm teaching the newbies on how to professionally and quickly do it." Gilbert beamed.

"Mommy what's an autopsy?" Ollie asked with red staining his lips, his mouth full of strawberries and pancakes.

"It's when doctors study a human that has passed, it's a way of understanding how they died." Eleanor said plainly.

She always believed that it was better to just tell her kids the truth if they asked questions. They were humans after all, no need to sugar coat it.

"Oh okay! Does that mean daddy is like the grim reaper?" Ollie asked.

Eleanor and Gilbert burst into laughter as the little boy giggled in response, he loved when his parents joked and laughed together.

"No baby, daddy is not like the grim reaper in any way. Daddy saves lives, not ends them." Eleanor said with a small chuckle.

"So Daddy is like a superhero?" Ollie gasped.

"Yes, Daddy is like a superhero." Eleanor smiled and placed a kiss to her husband's cheek.

"He's my superhero at least." she whispered in his ear, making him smile and place one last kiss on her cheek before heading to work.

(Narrator/Ending Story)

Eleanor grew to be one of the most successful business women of her time. She became the new face of "Parks Industry" after her father had a heart attack in 1956 at the ripe age of 76. Her mother became a widow and moved to a small town right near the edge of Britain, where she fell ill with tuberculosis and died at the age of 73.

After her parent's death, Eleanor did everything she could to keep her fathers business up and running. She made a few changes, firstly, changing the company from an oil company to one of the most well known book publishing agencies in all of the Americas.

Although she knew her father would be turning in his grave at the company change, she didn't care. After all, what was he going to do about it?

Alvin became a well known author in New York, he wrote many kids books that Eleanor was happy to help get published. He lived in a one story home with his wife and two kids until he died at the old age of 56 due to a car accident. His wife and kids went on to live for many years and often visited Eleanor and Gilbert in their home.

Harvey lived with Laura until he was around 19 before going off to college to study railroad research. He helped build many railroad's that connected many parts of the U.S., helping with trade and economic boom. He then married Archie (a short and chubby blonde haired man that admired Harvey during their college days), the two lived in a small cottage near Jersey and adopted a little girl that went on to be a marine biologist.

Although the children of Laura and Henry Parks didn't talk to each other much after their parents deaths, they made sure to meet on holidays. They enjoyed eating a large meal, having a pot of coffee, and talking for hours about their lives with one another.

-----

Eleanor and Gilbert were married straight out of college, Gilbert didn't want to waste one second without his girl by his side.

He had proposed to her on a warm night in August after the couple had their first date since Gilbert had went to work at one of the top Hospitals in New York.

The ring had fit Eleanor's finger perfectly as she cried in Gilbert's arms about how excited she was.

The reception was small, only about 50 people came. Eleanor wore an off the shoulder white dress with small light pink flowers littering her lace cape. Her mother and father both cried so much during the ceremony they had to leave the room three times.

After the wedding, Eleanor and Gilbert went on a long honeymoon to Europe, where they traveled and viewed the touristy spots and the countryside. It was one of Eleanor's favorite memories, besides when she first met the love of her life.

Quite soon after their honeymoon, Eleanor found out she was pregnant with twins. The birthing went smoothly and two happy and healthy twins were resting in Eleanor's arms after 9 short months and 16 hours of labor.

Willow and Oliver were Eleanor's pride and joys, she spent every waking moment with her babies. And even after she was diagnosed with postpartum depression, she tried everything in her power to make herself better for her babies.

She was able to pull through and she started a long and healthy relationship with her two babies.

Not long after she had the twins, she found out she was pregnant again. With the twins only being 5 years old, it was quite a shock to find out that she was pregnant with twins, again.

During the nine months of her pregnancy, it had been the hardest of the two pregnancies she had. During the birth of her second set of twins, one of them sadly did not make it, wrapping the umbilical cord around their neck. Through triumph and tears, Eleanor was able to keep the other baby healthy and safe as she delivered it.

They named the baby Asher, with the meaning of "hope and life" behind her name. Eleanor thought it was only fitting to honor her baby that she wouldn't be able to watch grow and sprout into a young man. Although she grieved the loss of her baby boy, she never once blamed Asher for the loss of her brother. She loved all of her kids the same, even the ones that weren't able to be with her in those moments.

---------

Anne went on to marry a traveling salesman named Raji, he was a kind and innocent young boy who came from India. The two were married and had three kids, Helen, Kara, and Davi. She lived in a small town near her husbands hometown and lived happily until she died of old age surrounded by her kids and husband.

--------

Diana married a wealthy man in France when she was on a family vacation. The two had met at a cafe and became inseparable since then. They had five kids, Allie, Terry, Danielle, Kevin, and Leo. They all lived in a large estate in Europe, with two dogs and the seven family members, it was a very happy family. Diana went on to die from polio at the young age of 35.

--------

The three friends had a tradition to meet in Avonlea atleast once during the summer season. Although the tradition seemed to dwindle in time, the friends never forgot about the times they shared as kids.

The people you grow up with always have a way of making an impact on you, no matter how long its been since you seen them, you will always remember your youth and how you spent it with each other.
