❛Never trust a survivor until you find out what they did to survive.❜

"Do you want to be a Queen?"

"No. I want to be the Queen."

~ Margaery Tyrell, A Game Of Thrones.

'No one told me that being a Queen would mean digging out of hell, darling. Even now, I wonder if a broken heart is better than a broken neck.'

'I doubt it is.'

To the random person who's opened this book to give it a shot, bless your sweet soul. You've earned a spot in my heart.

This story is something I've worked on for nearly two years. It is the result of avoiding sleep, drinking an insane amount of coffee and crying over plot twists in the middle of the night. On top of that, it took a large effort to gather the courage to push the publish button!

So, for clicking on this and opening it, thank you.

I'm going to warn you, this isn't your normal story. This is going to make you cry the way it made me cry, it's going to make you pull out your hair in frustration. But it's all going to be good, I hope :)

Also, the story is quite long, so embark on this amazing journey only if you're ready for the ride! Proceed with caution!

To Pinterest, for depriving me of my productivity, one minute at a time.

To coffee, for helping turn my blood into ink.

To my mom, for believing in me and loving me no matter what.

To you, for opening this book and giving it a try. I'm already in love with you.

This book contains:

Short tempered, fierce goddesses who like to drink the blood of their enemies.

Messy haired sarcastic devils who will ruin your life.

Dozens of bloodthirsty immortals who are ready to dance on your ashes.

A cutthroat competition for three crowns of glass.

An intense slow burn ship.

This work is inspired by ideas of 'Game Of Thrones,' 'The Mortal Instruments,' 'The Chronicles Of Narnia,' and so on. Yet the plot, concept and characters are mine, and completely new. Please don't steal them.

This also has a few parts loosely based on tales of Greek Mythology. However, these gods are more ruthless, violent and bloodthirsty than the Greek gods.

Do not plagiarize this work. I've literally poured my soul into this, and if I find someone copying this, I will catch hold of you and throw you to the hounds who will chew you to pieces. Yes, I'll be sipping blackcurrant wine and watching that with a smile on my face.

All the images used in moodboards and banners are not mine. They're sourced from online sources, all credit goes to them.

This book may contain a few quotes which I find on Pinterest, Tumblr, or anything I see in day to day life in general. All rights go to them, but do keep in mind that this plot is completely original. My inspiration comes from anything I do, read or write.

What does it take to end the world?

A warlord of sea and salt dips the heaven in his cerulean oceans, wringing the gossamer clouds out as tears rain on the soil.

You end the world with steel. You strike their unfaithful hearts and reward their false treachery with pain to last infinite lifetimes.

A slender lady carved of ivory sweeps back her mist flecked hair, her mirthful laugh a delightful ribbon of silk.

You end the world with ice. You freeze gilded souls, and put a stopper on divinity itself with a crown of frost.

A fallen death god chuckles wickedly, his heart carved of iron, his spirit as pitiless as the bronze that lies buried under the garden of the dead.

You end the world with pain. You sink your teeth into the white hot purity of it, and watch the gods choke on their own immortality as golden ichor spills over glassy floor.

An empress decked in flame and death greets the reaper as an old friend, wreathed in ruins of ash as smoke curls around her iron wrists.

You end the world with lies. You water the soil with betrayal, and watch glittering black mistrust stain the sacred oceans of loyalty.

The king of the skies smirks, his eyes darker than thunder. The smell of death lingers on him, and his voice curls like smoked whiskey as he stops hiding his bloodstained hands.

You end the world with death. You let yourself shatter as you crawl in its wicked grasp, and watch your soul slowly bleed out on the floor in front of your very eyes.
