In which he lays down his arms and lays down his life, his bed an ivory carpet of withered roses, eyes pale to a marble whiteness that look lifelessly up to the heavens above.

In which they die and bleed and die again, a shattered fragment of their splintered lives; lives which deserve a soft epilogue.
