ACT II | QUATERVOIS

CROWN OF GLASS ✔91 words~1 min read

quatervois

(n.) a crossroads; a critical decision or turning point in one's life.

In which youth melts off even faster than fresh fallen summer snows, swimming in tragedies of forgotten evil.

In which all of the kings and all of the queens are no longer gods and goddesses of immortal palaces, only young children playing a game of death; screaming to the heavens that the rules are unfair.

In which evil yearns to make its presence felt once again, grabbing, clawing at pride and power with all its greedy, lustful hands.
