IT'S HATCHING! POKÉMON TECH SCHOOL IS...?

Our heroes are on their way to Vermillion City where ash will earn her next gym badge needing only five more to enter the Indigo League.

[Break Scene]

Right they were having trouble with the deep mist that was rolling in, but they continued till...

"Hmmm, I don't like the look of this. We should stop for a while." Mairin voice out.

"I agree." ash nodded, "This fog is so thick it's hard to see where you're going."

"You could also get lost." mairin added.

"How about a break, until the mist clears up?" Brock suggested.

The rest of the gang agreed to that plan.

Brock opened up his bag and started to pull out some equipment and items needed.

The gang will never know how the Breeder manages to have or fits all that stuff into the bag.

ash opinion he could have unlimited spaces inside his bag like them.

Brock also got out some Cerulean Coffee, some Tea and Prune Juice, along with ash's favorite; Chocolate Milk.

Alain took the Tea, ash happily accepted the Chocolate Milk and they were young for coffee, the kid complained about the juice they didn't like Prune Juice, till Brock pulled out Orange Juice and Apple Juice, that immediately brightened up the kid face.

"I'll make some French Creapes for a bit of dessert, but I need water and firewoods." Brock said.

"I'll go get the firewoods." ash offered.

"Than I'll get the water." Alain said.

" Mairin can help me set the stuff up." Brock said.

"Okay." kid nodded.

ash went off into the woods with pikachu on her shoulder.

[Break Scene]

As ash  was in the woods, she spotted a Nidoran couple together.

"Aw, kawaii~" ash cooed, she took out her Pokédex and scanned the couple.

[Nidoran Male, the Poison Pin Pokémon. It's horn is larger than the female's and its toxic is for protection.]

[Nidoran Female, the Poison Pin Pokémon. Even though its horn is smaller than the male's its toxic can still be fatal.]

ash place her Pokedex away, "Pikachu, Thundershock them." She ordered.

"Pika."pikachu jumped off her trainers shoulder and fired a electric attack, hitting the Nidoran couple well.

ash took out two Pokeball and tossed it, hitting both Nidoran's on the head.

Both male and female Nidoran's were sucked into the Pokeball and caught without a fuss, then both Pokeball were teleported to Professor's Oak Lab.

ash gathered up the firewood and walked back to the group.

[Break Scene]

When ash arrived with the firewood, she immediately started to set it up and Alain came back with a bucket of water.

As the group was setting up lunch... Alain's bag began to shake.

ash sense another presence immediately, she turned towards Alain's bag and smiled, "Alain, the Pokémon Egg is about to hatch!" She called out.

"Wha-" Alain placed the dishes on the table and ran towards his bag, he unzipped it and took out the incubator that the Pokémon Egg was resting in.

Mairin awed, "Its true!" She exclaimed.

Alain removed the lid of the incubator as the egg began to shake more and vibrate.

" Mairin make sure you stay behind Alain!" Brock called out.

"Okay!"

ash moved back and behind Alain, there was no way she was going to miss this. Brock came up with his Creape batter he was mixing still.

The egg glowed and took shape, the glowed died down revealing a small slate gray fox-like Pokémon with a red and black accents.

It shook its body and slowly opened its eyes, "Rarf?" It said, blinking as its pair of greenish-blue eyes stared at Alain's blue eyes.

"A Zorua."ash awed, she pulled out her Pokédex and scanned the newly hatched Pokémon.

[Zorua, the Tricky Fox Pokémon. Zorua hides its true form by changing its shape into people and Pokémon, it loves to surprise Pokémon.

Note: Zorua are found in the Unova Region and Hidden Areas of Sinnoh.

Seconded Note: Zorua keeps its true form hidden to ensure its safety and takes on another appearance of other Pokémon to frighten off enemies.]

Brock was amazed, "Its can change into people and Pokémon. Similar to Ditto's but only Pokémon." He said.

"Awwww~~~" Mairin squealed at the tricky fox Pokémon.

ash placed her Pokédex away.

Alain got up with Zorua in his arms, "Welcome little one." He said.

Zorua barked happily and rubbed its cheek against Alain's chest.

"Pika." pikachu cheered.

"Is it a boy or girl?" Mairin asked.

Zack barked, "Rarf! "

"I think a boy"ash said zorua nod

pikachu and Chespie laughed at the fail attempt of the tricky fox Pokémon, who tried to bite their tails

Alain decide to check his new Pokémon data, he scanned his Pokémon for moves.

[Zorua Known Moves: Leer and Scratch

Egg Move: Dark Pulse and Extrasensory, which has yet to be unlocked.]

"Wow, nice egg moves for a little guy." ash commented as she heard the Pokédex.

"Alright, its done!" Brock said, happily. During the commotion, he continued to make lunch; some sandwiches, with salads on the side and creapes. Brock also got all the Pokémon food out.

"FOOD!" "Alright!" Mairin exclaimed, happily.

As the gang were eating, along with the Pokémon who greeted the new Pokémon in the group, they all happily ate.

After fifteen minutes has past...

Brock notice the firewood was about to got out. "We need more wood." He said.

ash was just finished, "I'll go and get more." She offered again, picking up her backpack and she returned all her Pokémon expect for Light, who also finished their lunch back to their Pokéball.

"I'll go with you." Alain said, he returned all his Pokémon expect for Zorua who jumped into his arms.

ash smiled and they both headed off into the woods.

[Break Scene]

ash, Alain and their Pokémon were walking through the woods searching for more firewoods.

When they saw a boy on the treadmill answering questions about Pidgeotto's evolved form. When the boy got it wrong they turned it up making the treadmill go faster and faster and when the boy couldn't keep up anymore, he fell off the treadmill and looked like he hurt himself.

The five boys around the boy didn't even care and started laughing at him.

ash and Alain both narrowed their eyes at the five boys.

"Nothing more I dislike... Bullies." ash growled. It kind off remind her of her bullies friends as kids.

pikachu glared at the five boys.

Alain walked over, "I think you five idiots have done enough." He got their attentions by calling them idiots.

"What did you say, punk?" One of them growled.

Alain glared at them, making some flinch.

ash walked past them, over to the fallen boy who was holding his leg, that had a big scrape on it. She bent down, "Are you okay?" She smiled.

The boy looked up at the smiling face and blushed a bit at the pretty girl in front of him, "I-I'm okay but my leg hurts." He winced at the injury.

Alain came up, "How is it, Ashley?" He asked.

ash examined it, "Its looks bad, but nothing that serious." She said, she took off her backpack and brought out some healing potion, from her First Aid kit. "Now, this will sting a little but it will help clean the wound, so it's doesn't get infected.

"Hey! Don't you ignore us!" Another boy yelled out angrily.

ash sprayed the boys wound and like she said its started to sting really bad but it means that it was working, after spraying the wound, she gently wrapped it up in bandages but not too tightly. "There. How does it feel?" She asked.

The boy smiled, "A little better, thank you!" He said.

Alain helped the boy up, "What's your name?" He asked.

"Oh, my names Joe." The boy said.

"Nice to meet you Joe." ash smiled, "I'm Ashley and this is pikachu."

"Pika." Pikachu raised a paw to greet.

"Alain and this Zorua." Alain said.

Zorua barked in greeting.

"Umm, its nice to meet you all." Joe greeted back.

The five boys were starting to get really mad because they had been ignoring them like it was nothing and weren't going to let it go.

"You've got some nerve ignoring us! Maybe we should teach you a lesson!" All the boys were about to jump...

One of Alain's Pokéball shook and out came his partner, who appeared and growled at the five making them freeze in fear.

"Charizard." Alain said.

Joe was amazed by the strong Charizard, Alain had.

Alain sighs annoyed, "Charizard watch over Ashley and the boy, Joe." He passed Zorua over to ash, who gently took the tricky fox Pokémon into her arms, "I'll deal with this." He said.

Charizard nodded and walked towards ash and Joe, he stood in front of them.

"Okay, who first?" Alain asked.

"Grrrr! Don't make fun of us!" One of the boy shouted and ran at Alain, raising a fist ready to strike him.

Alain stepped to the left and chopped him in the back of the neck, knocking him out cold and making the boy dropped to the ground instantly.

"Wow." ash whistled in amazement.

The four boys looked at their fallen comrade on the ground out cold.

"Now then..." Alain glared dangerously, "Anyone else want to attack us or will you leave?"

"Screw you!" One of the boy yelled out, angrily.

'Your funeral.' Alain thought, as they all charge at him.

And so the fight continued on...

The four boys were stubborn and didn't give up... So the fight continued on...

[Break Scene]

"Where are Alain and ash? They should've been back by now with the extra firewood." Brock said.

Mairin quickly helped Brock pack up how equipments and they ran towards the forest, they might arrive their quicker with running.

[Break Scene]

Joe gapped in shocked, "... No... Way..." He gasped.

Well... When Brock, Mairin and the Pokémon arrived they weren't expecting or prepared for what they saw.

There Brock saw Alain standing over the four boys that were on the ground in pain, one out cold (still) and one boy standing beside ash and Alain's Charizard.

"Wha- What happen here?" Mairin asked, shocked. She knows her brother can defend, but he rarely doe it if people don't mess with him first.

Yuna saw them, "Oh, hey when did you arrive?" She asked, curiously.

"We get got here ash-nee-chan." mairin said.

"Hey! Don't change the subject, what in Arceus name happened here?" Mairin asked.

ash looked at Alain who walked over to them, "Well... It happened like this..."

ash quickly explained what previously happened...

"..." No comment from Brock.

Mairin sighs, "Seriously..."

Alain grunted.

Zorua barked happily and jumped into his father's arm.

Joe was still gaping liking an idiot no believing what he witness.

The four boys got up slowly alerting the others.

"Oh..." ash smiled amused, "They still got up."

Alain face them, "So? Are you going to leave or stay?" He asked.

"L-l-leave." One boy struggled to voice out.

"Good. Go."

Charizard glared and growled at them.

Two of the boys quickly picked their unconscious comrade and they all high tailed it out of the area, like a bunch of scared little children.

"Cowards." mairin said.

Brock sweat dropped, "More like scared, but they did get their butts kicked by one person." He said.

Mairin grinned, "That's my big brother!" She said proudly.

Alain returned his Charizard.

"Anyway, Joe why they picking on you earlier?"ash questioned.

Joe snapped out of his state, "Oh! They weren't bullying me they were helping me." He answered.

ash and Alain raised a brow, they looked at each other, then face the boy.

"Hate to say it Joe, but that was bullying no helping." ash said.

Joe shook his head, "No they were but sometimes I pretend I don't know the answers to some questions because if I answer them correctly, the questions they asked will get harder." He explained.

ash twitched and felt disgusted with the brutal treatment, "Tell me something Joe, who's in charge of this really idiotic stupid- I mean brutal system?" She asked, seriously.

'Ah, she just called it idiotic stupid and quickly reserved it with brutal in the last second.' Brock thought, amused.

Mairin nodded, agreeing with ash's words.

Joe dug in his pocket and brought out a picture, "Well there's the head student for beginning class." He showed the picture to them, "Here she is. Her name is Giselle." He said with a faint blush aborning on his face.

ash looked at the picture and snorted, "No wonder. A pretty face with a ugly personality I bet you cha." She stated.

"Pikapi. " pikachu nodded.

Zorua barked agreeing as well, Chespie nodded.

mairin looked at the picture, she looked at the Ketchum than back at the image and it was decided, "ash-Nee-Chan  is wayyyy prettier." she said simultaneously.

ash giggled and patted the kid on the head, "Thanks." She smiled.

kid grinned up at her.

Brock saw the blush on the boys face, "Kid you should have better taste in girls." He said.

[I couldn't really have Brock as a flirt person after all. So I'll have to change some parts in the past chapters. But then again I should've struck with the Brock in my first story of Pokémon. So the non-flirt Brock is going to come back.]

Alain grunted, pretty faces aren't everything and he learnt that the hard way, with many girls staring and hitting on him.

"That reminds me, what is this school of yours called anyway?" Brock asked.

"Pokémon Tech School." Joe replied.

"Pokémon Tech School. I should've know." Brock sighs.

"You've heard of it Brock." Alain asked.

"Yes." Brock had his palm under his chin, "Its a school for Pokémon Trainers who don't want to go around to collect Gym Badges. Basically once they graduate from Pokémon Tech, they automatically qualify for the Pokémon League." He explained.

"Huh?! You serious?!"  kid exclaimed. "Where's the fun in that?!"

"Everything is done by computers and simulations then?" Alain asked, curious.

Brock snorted, "Pretty much."

"Pikapi Pika Pikachu." pikachu suggested.

"Ches... Chespin Ches." Chespie said.

ash totally agreed with the Pokémon words.

"I totallyyyy agree with ya there." ash faced Joe, "Alright, will you show us this school?" She asked.

"Sure!" Joe smiled.

"So the gang followed the boy towards the school.

As Joe was showing them the place, he led them to Giselle's study area letting the gang get a good look at it and like Alain said everything was done by computers and simulations.

ash was not impressed by this, this place considered a capital 'JOKE' if Uncle Lance, Cousin Clair and Riley saw this they'll agree as well.(yes yes more relatives)

They place does nothing but insult the traditional way of earning badges, travelling and bonding with their Pokémon so they could get stronger together.

Alain was thinking the same as ash, if his grandfather saw this he'll instantly frown on it, after all he is studying on Mega Evolution the Bond between trainers and their Pokémon.

"See." Joe spoke, "Here at Pokémon Tech, its overall skill as a trainer that counts. Sorry ash, but even though you have two badges, I'm pretty sure I'm more still than you."

mairin snorted at his words along with Brock, he doesn't know how strong ash's Pokémon are.

"Soooo you say." ash waved off the insult, "But did you know that simulations are nothing more than computers that only project what you wanna see. If you want up against Brock, Misty or another Gym Leaders in Kanto in real you'll be slaughtered before you realize what happened." She said.

Brock smiled at the compliment she gave him, acknowledging him strong Gym Leaders.

"Why do you say that?" Joe asked.

"Because Brock here," ash pointed to Brock, "is the Gym Leader of Pewter City and I've faced Misty who is the Cerulean City Gym Leader." She told the boy, "You see, your simulator lets you win against the computer version of them but I know for sure... You'll won't stand a chance against them what's so ever."

mairin smiled and took out a Pokéball, "Hey, you said that your more skill them my ash-nee-chan, right?" she grinned and spun the Pokéball on his finger, "Then have a battle with me to prove yourself."

Joe smiled, "Alright."

Alain eyed the boy, "Joe believes that he is stronger than anyone who has two badges because of the simulator. He needs to learn that there are stronger trainers out there with two badges in their hands." He explained.

"Alain's right. Beside we've seen mairin trains her Pokémon, she's alright." Brock assured.

"Poliwag, time for a battle!" mairin called out her tadpole Pokémon.

"Poliwag!" she said.

"Pikapi! " pikachu started.

Zorua barked from Alain's arm, "raft raft" He said.

ash looked at Poliwag, 'she close... I see now, she needs one push for it to evolve.' She thought with a smile.

Joe looked at Poliwag and made his choice, "This is an easy choice." He said, "Weepinbell, I choose you!" Out came the Grass/Poison-type Pokémon.

"Bell..." It said.

"You can have the first move." mairin grinned.

"Alright, Weepinbell use Vine Whip!" Joe ordered.

Vines sprouted out and aimed at the Water-type Pokémon.

"Wait..." mairin waited for the right moment when it got close enough, "Poliwag, use Protect."

Poliwag had a green shield around himself, protecting him and the vines bounced off the shield and hit Weepinbell in the face.

"No way!" Joe cried out.

"Our turn, use Ice Beam!" mairin ordered.

Poliwag fired a beam of icy blue that hit the flycatcher Pokémon directly, trapping it in a block of ice and it shattered, making the Pokémon fall back.

"No! Weepinbell!" Joe exclaimed.

"Alright!" Mairin cheered.

"Nice work!"ash said.

"Poliwag~" He froze and started to glow, he changed into a bigger version of himself and without a tail. "Poliwhirl!"

"Yatta! You've evolved! "mairin cheered and ran to hug her newly evolved Pokémon.

ash scanned the new evolved form of Poliwag.

[Poliwhirl, the Tadpole Pokémon. The pre-evolve form of Poliwag. It's highly developed muscles allow Poliwhirl to move efficiently on land, but it is even more agile in water.]

"So Poliwag need one good push for it to evolve." Alain said.

"Yeah." ash nodded.

"Weepinbell!" Joe cried out, running to his fallen Pokémon, "Are you okay?"

Weepinbell managed to open its eyes and nodded.

Joe lets out a sigh of relief and returned the weakened Pokémon, "I can't believe I lost though. I mean a Grass-type has the advantage over a Water-type... So how?" He wondered.

ash was about to explain when a unfamiliar voice spoke up.

"That's because your Weepinbell isn't trained, while it's obvious this Poliwag was trained and now it evolved into Poliwhirl." A female voice spoke.

They turned and saw a girl they recognized by Joe's photo, this girl was Giselle.

"Giselle!" Joe exclaimed in surprise.

The girl continued on, "The reason you lost is because this Poliwhirl has real battle experiences, that gives its advantage over the type it's weak against." She said.

Joe looked down hearted at the girl words.

The gang frowned, while one person was mad, this person was calm when wants and easily get mad when the wrong words are spoken.

Alain wrapped his free arm around ash's waist, holding her back from going over and yelling.

ash looked at Alain, "She's-" She tried.

"I know, but wait." Alain said, calmly.

"Honestly, you're such an embarrassment to this school!" Giselle stated, ashamed at the boy.

"Hey! That's not nice!" Mairin snapped first, she maybe seven-years-old but she understands.

Giselle turned her attention to the little girl and saw three older kids. Even if one is ten.

"Listen! So what if Joe lost, there's nothing wrong with that! This lost will give him something to think about and learn from it, which you'd should know if your a good trainer!" Mairin lectured.

"You tell her Mairin!" ash cheered.

Brock  also Alain sweat dropped.

Giselle's eyes twitched but tried to keep her confidence, "Hmph, I have the right to say whatever I want to him because I'm a good trainer. In fact, I'm the top student here." She posed, highly.

Mairin and ash eyes twitched.

mairin returned her Poliwhirl back.

Cheapie was training to keep his trainer from yelling more.

Alain sighs at the girl attitude, "She's sounds really stupid." He purposely said it out loud.

"Excuse me!" Giselle turned towards the two older siblings.

ash smirked in happiness, "You heard him. But I case you didn't, I'll be happy to say it again. Everything you just said is really stupid." She repeated.

Mairin laughed at the girls reaction and stuck her tongue out.

Brock snorted.

Joe, well... Joe couldn't help but feel flabbergasted and he couldn't say anything.

"How dare you two insult me! Just because you two have good looks mean nothing!" Giselle shouted and brought out a Pokéball, "You and me! Will have a battle right now!"

Alain and ash looked at the top student in pure disbelief, they weren't even talking about their looks and it has nothing to do with what they were talking about either.

Alain unwrapped his arm from ash's waist.

ash stepped forwarded, "I accept." She took out a Pokéball. "If I win, you'll apologise to Joe on what you said."

"Fine!" Giselle shouted.

Brock offered to be the referee, "This is a 1-on-1 battle between Giselle of the Pokémon Tech and Ashley Ketchum! The battle is over when both or one Pokémon on either side is unable to battle! Do both trainers agree?" He asked.

Giselle flipped her hair, "Of course I do. Not that I'm worried seeing as how I'm going to win." She said confidently.

ash rolled her eyes, "I'm ready to start."

The Breeder raised his arm int he air and then brought it down, "Battle Begin!" He announced.

Giselle throw the Pokéball, "Cubone, I choose you!" Out came a Pokémon wearing a bone mask and holding a bone in its hand.

"Cubone!" It said.

"So she's using Cubone." Alain scanned the Pokémon.

[Cubone a Ground-type Pokémon. Cubone has earned its classification as the Lonely Pokémon from its usual attitude of caring only for itself.]

Giselle crossed her arm, "What Pokémon are you going to bring out?" She asked.

"This one." ash tossed the Pokéball into the air and out came her hummingbird Pokémon.

"Altaria~~" altaria sang and landed on the ground, tucking her wings. "Taria~~"

"What Pokémon is that?" Giselle asked shocked by the beautiful Pokémon.

ash fake a gasped, "You don't know? And here I thought you were the top student of your class." She shrugged her shoulder, "Guess that was a lie, huh."

Brock covered up a snort.

Mairin brusted out laughing at the girls face.

Alain had a amused smiled.

Giselle fumed, "YOU! This is the last time you insult me! Cubone use Bone Club now!" She ordered.

"Take it." ash ordered, calmly.

"Cubone!" Cubone rushed at the hummingbird Pokémon and smacked her on the head with its bone.

Giselle smirks, "I win." She declared.

"I wonder." ash said.

altaria shook her head and titled to the side like nothing happened, "Altaria~?"

"WHAT?!" Giselle screeches in shock, "Impossible!"

"What? My altaria is a high level Pokémon that attack was nothing, beside didn't you say real battle experience gives the Pokémon the advantage to overcome their weakness." ash quoted the top student words, even though she changed it a little.

"Wahoo! You tell her ash-nee Chan!" Mairin cheered.

"altaria is a Dual-type Pokémon, she's a Flying and Dragon-type." ash smirked, "altaria, Ice Beam."

altaria fired a icy blue beam at Cubone and it became a block of ice, immediately.

"Cubone!" Giselle cried out.

"That attack is really effective against a Ground-type like Cubone because it's an Ice-type move." Brock stated.

"Lets free it, altaria Steel Wing." ash commanded.

altaria took off into the air and flew down fast with a steel wing, she strikes the frozen Ground-type Pokémon directly, shattering the ice and Cubone cried out in pain.

"Cubone, no!" Giselle cried out again.

"Solar Beam!" altaria gathered the sun energy in her mouth and released it, causing a bright white beam hitting Cubone who cried out again from the direct Solar Beam attack.

Cubone was sent flying back to Giselle's side, on the ground with swirl's on its eyes. "Cu... Cu... Cu-bone." It said faintly.

Brock brought up his arm, "Cubone is unable to battle! altaria wins and the winner of the match is Ashley Ketchum of Pallet Town!" He announced.

"Cubone!" Giselle rushed over to her Pokémon immediately, taking it into her arms, cradling it gently, "Are you okay?" She asked.

The little Ground-type managed to open its eyes weakly, "Cubone..."

Giselle smiled in relief hugging it, "Thank goodness... Thank you. Take a good rest." She returned her Pokémon.

ash returned her Pokémon but not before, "Thanks for the altaria." She said.

"Altaria~~" altaria smiled and returned back.

Giselle sighs and smiled, "You know. Thank you!" She bowed at ash, "You taught a valuable lesson to me and I'm sorry for what I said to you all. Especially you Joe." She said to Joe.

Joe shook his head and smiles.

ash smiles, "That's good than." She said. "At the end you become good friends."

"Ashley's right." Alain said.

"That's not all we learnt!" Joe said, "Having battled you and watching the battle between you and Giselle made me realize that I need to start over from scratch by travelling instead of learning everything from a computer." He explains.

"Yay, all wells that end wells!" Mairin said.

"Now only to Vermillion City." mairin said.

Giselle helped with that, she gave them directions to Vermillion City and wished ash lucked on getting her third gym badge.

They said farewell to each other and headed off in the direction Giselle told them to take.

After saying farewell to Pokémon Tech and teaching them a lesson on Pokémon, our heroes heads off in the direction of Vermillion City for ash's third gym badge.
