GRASS-TYPE STARTER; BULBASAUR AND THE HIDDEN VILLAGE

Right now the gang was having trouble waking through a non-path forest. Alain also managed to get Zorua inside his Pokéball, when he was tired and took a nap.

"We're lost aren't we?" Mairin said.

Brock scratched his cheek, "Yeah, we're definitely lost... Again." He sighs.

"Did Giselle give us bad directions?" Mairin asked.

"Maybe." ash shrugged.

"Plan B. Sometime I forget that I'm carrying the PokéNav with me." ash muttered the last sentence and pulled out her PokéNav Plus and started to fiddle with the buttons and soon a map appeared with a red mark, indicating where they are. "Here we are."

Alain looked over, "Were not far from a Pokémon Centre." He said.

Mairin perked up, "Really!" She exclaimed.

"How about a break here?" Brock asked them.

ash nodded, "Sounds great." She then spotted something near a small river, it has a blue round body with five large leaves sprouting from its head, "Erm, is that an Oddish and a lucario?" She asked.

Alain looked were ash was looking, "Its an Oddish and Lucario, alright." He replied.

ash scanned the Pokémons.

[Oddish, the Weed Pokémon. This Pokémon is typically found roaming the forest, scattering pollen as it walks around.]

[Lucario is a Fighting/Steel-type and is considered a Semi-Pseudo Legendary Pokémon. Lucario is said to be the first Pokémon to ever go through Mega Evolution, and it is now confirmed]

Mairin had stars in her eyes, "I wanna catch it!" She declared and ran towards the weed Pokémon.

"Chespin Ches! " Chespie exclaimed.

"Wha- Mai, wait up!" ash ran after her.

"Mairin, ! Hold on a minute!" brock chased after the girls.

Alain followed behind them.

[Break Scene]

As Mairin was about to call out Bébé to battle, she immediately stopped and notice the Oddish was scared.

"... Oddish ..." It shivered, noticing the human girl.

ash caught up, "Ah mou~ What's wrong Mai?" He asked.

ash looked at the wild Oddish and confirmed it, "I have a feeling that this Oddish had a owner befo- Wah!" she didn't finish, when she was pulled by her shirt of her partner, dodging a Razor Leaf attack from somewhere.

Another set of Razor Leaf attack came out and Chespie knocked it away from his trainer with Vine Whip.

"Razor Leaf?" Mairin said.

Mairin and ash looked where the attack came from and out came a small, quadrupled blue-green Pokémon.

"A Bulbasaur!" ash exclaimed, excited and scanned the Grass-type Kanto Region Starter Pokémon.

[Bulbasaur, the Seed Pokémon. It bears the seed of a plant on its back from birth. The plant sprouts and grows with it.]

Bulbasaur growled as it stood in front of Oddish.

"A wild Bulbasaur is rare sight." Brock said.

ash eyed Bulbasaur and sense something else nearby coming at fast speed, "We have another company." She warned.

"LUXIO!" A Pokémon growled and came out from the bushes, it stood beside Bulbasaur growling at the group of humans. The Pokémon is a feline, quadruped Pokémon that resembles a young lynx or lion.

"Pika! Pikapi!" pikachu pointed to the Electric-type Pokémon.

"Its a Luxio." Alain said.

"What's a Luxio doing in the Kanto Region?"ash asked and scanned the newly arrived Pokémon.

[Luxio, the Spark Pokémon. By touching its friends with its front paws, Luxio is able to communicate through the sparks it emits.

Note: Luxio's are located in the Sinnoh Region.]

Alain looked at the two Pokémon protecting the weed Pokémon, 'Strange. These two looked trained, its like they used to have a trainer.' He thought. 'They couldn't have...'

ash was thinking that same thing, watching the two Pokémon.

"Maybe we should leave the Oddish alone. Its obvious that Bulbasaur and Luxio are protecting it from being capture or injured." Brock said.

Mairin sighs, "Alright. I'm sorry for trying to catch you Oddish." She said and turned around, running back to her brother.

"Oddish..." Oddish blinked at the human girl that apologized. "Oddish?"

The group of people are strange they never met nice human before, they are willingly letting her go, along with Bulbasaur and Luxio.

"Bulba Bulbasaur. " Bulbasaur said.

"Lux." Luxio nodded and picked up the weed Pokémon gently by the leaves and ran off.

"Aaaaannndddd their they go." ash said, dramatically fun, watching them leave.

mairin giggled.

Lucario walked up to ash and touched her pokeball

"Wha" said ash "guess you wanted to come with me"

"Okay, break." Brock said.

The gang nodded and sat down, taking their lunches and Pokémon food.

[Break Scene]

After a lunch break, they are now currently walking across a bridge, very carefully because it wasn't safe and highly unstable, with the wind blowing over.

"Remind me again, why we choose to cross this bridge!" Mairin exclaimed, holding onto ash's hand, she returned Chespie back into his Pokeball because of the unstable bridge.

"AHHHH!" The gang screamed and grabbed hold onto, whatever they can.

ash managed to grabbed hold off the wood, holding herself up and Mairin hanged onto ash's waist refusing to look down. Alain was in the same situation as ash

Brock couldn't hang on much longer and soon he lost his grip, "Ahhhhhhh-!" He fell into the river.

"BROCK! / Pikachu!" The gang shouted out, as they saw the Breeder fall into the river.

"We can't stay like this forever!" ash shouted and pulled herself up with her strength.

"Pikapi!" pikachu encouraged.

"Come on Alain." ash cheered.

Mairin also cheered on ash.

"It's not easy!" Both older sibling groaned out.

ash  and Alain both managed to pull themselves

"Phew, that was close." ash sighed.

"Pika-chu." pikachu sighs as well.

"Yeah, I thought we were goners for sure." Mairin sighs.

"What about Brock?" ash asked, trying not to panic.

"We should look around, who knows maybe we'll run into him." Alain suggested.

"Alright." ash, Mairin who nodded.

[Break Scene]

As the gang continued into the forest looking for their lost friend; Brock, but they found out they are having bit of trouble of their own.

Apparently someone had traps set up along the path they took, trap holes and nets, but lucky they were able to narrowly avoid them.

"Ahh!" Mairin yelped as she was grabbed by her shirt by ash quick reflex, "Why me!" She was saved from falling into a hole. "Thank you!"

ash chuckled, "Your welcome." She pulled Mairin away from the pit fall.

"I'm getting really annoyed. What's with all these traps?" Mairin asked.

"These traps seems to be a defense, for someone or something." Alain summaries, "They are made by whoever lives in this part of the forest, also it's seems like it's for protecting whoever."

Mairin sighs, "Let's keep moving." She said.

ash looked at the ground where the young Sycamore was about to step, "Mai, you shou-"

Mairin tripped over another trap, but instead of a hole it was a net tie to a tree, "Wha- Wahhhh!" She screamed, as she was pulled up. "Oh, come on!"

"Ld be care-ful. Oh Arceus."  ash sweat dropped, finishing her words.

"Pika chu." pikachu sweat dropped as well.

Alain groaned with a sweat on his head. "Mairin..."

Mairin growled angrily, "This is ridiculous!! Why is it always me!" She screamed out in annoyance, wiggling, trying to free herself from the net.

"Ah, maybe you should stop Mai. It's making it worse and you might get yourself injured." ash commented, with a sweat drop seeing that the young Sycamore was struggling non-stop.

Mairin sighs, as she calm down, "Okay. But can someone please cut the rope!" She begged, almost.

Alain walked towards the tree that was tie with a rope, he took out a hunting knife or a pocket knife and cut the rope.

"Ahhh!" Mairin yelped as she fell. "Oof!"

ash heard a rustle in the bush and walked out a person who they were looking for.

"yo there." Brock waved at them.

"BROCK!" Mairin exclaimed.

"Your alright." ash smiled.

"Yeah." Brock smiled.

"Nice to see you alright. But, what exactly happened when you fell into the river?" Alain asked.

"Well, I was being carried away by the river when a beautiful girl rescued me." Brock explained.

"Ha..." ash and pikachu sweat dropped at the 'beautiful girl' part, only Brock will say something like that.

"Come on, I'll introduce you to her." Brock said.

The gang followed the Pokémon Breeder, to where the girl that rescued him was staying.

[Break Scene]

As the gang was following Brock, they arrived at a small wooden cabin, where they saw a woman drug long blue hair in a long braid and wearing a orange headband with blue eyes.

The woman was tending to some Pokémon when she saw the teen she rescued arrived with his friends, "Oh, are these your friends you've told me about?" She asked.

"Yes. Melanie this is ashley, Alain, and  Mairin." Brock replied and introduced them to her. "Guys, this is Melanie."

"Hello." Everyone greeted.

"Hello, Brock told me all about you." Melanie greeted back.

"Wow."

Mairin looked at all the Pokémon in this area.

"Are they all yours?" mairin asked.

"Oh no." Melanie shook her head.

"This is a place where Pokémon are able to rest and relax." Brock explained, "You see when Pokémon gets abandoned or injured, they can some here. Melanie takes care of them till they feel better and then they leave."

"Oh, so is it like Melanie a Pokémon Doctor and this a Pokémon Centre." Mairin said.

"Oh no, I'm not really qualified to be a Pokémon Doctor." Melanie said.

"This is like a Pokémon Health Spa." Brock said.

"I see." ash nodded.

Alain got suspicious about the traps in the area, "Excuse me Melanie, are you the one who put traps in the forest?" He asked, suddenly.

Melanie sighs and nodded, "Yes. I'm sorry, I'm the one who set those traps and the bridge. I wanted to catch Pokémon Trainers before they reach the village." She explained. "They are so many injured Pokémon here, that I had to protect them."

"They work alright." alain grinned and looked at his sister

Mairin looked at her brother and huff, he was talking about her and it was true, she was the only get caught in them.

"Do you think that those traps would keep poachers and thieves away?" ash asked.

"Don't know." Alain replied. "But I know one group of thieves wouldn't hesitate to come here and steal all of these Pokémon."

[Break Scene]

And Alain was right; Team Rocket, they heard about the Hidden Village and wanted the Pokémon for themselves.

James passed his teammates some black glasses.

"What are these for?" Jessie asked.

"Put them on," James said to them, who was already wearing his pair of black glasses, "and look ahead of you."

Jessie and Meowth put the glasses on and looked at the path, what they saw really surprised them.

"Wha?" Jessie said, shocked.

"No way!" Meowth exclaimed, "Those are traps."

"Its a good thing, I got these glasses." James smirked.

"Where did you get them from anyway?" Jessie asked.

"I nicked them from Team Rocket's Lab. They were going to give them to some other Rocket agents but I nicked it before they did." James answered, proudly.

"That was a smart move." Jessie applauded.

"Ya said it." Meowth agreed.

"Thanks." James nodded. "Now let's continue."

Team Rocket continued on, being aware and careful of traps.

[Break Scene]

Meanwhile the gang decide to help out Melanie, taking care of the Pokémon and promise not to catch any of them.

Mairin was giving all her attention to Oddish and another Pokémon that resembles a plant-like bulb; a Petilil, which was strange because they are usually found in Unova Region.

But that's not all, there was; Cherubi, Chatot, Baltoy, Bagon from Hoenn and Sinnoh, also a pair of Rockruff who are only founded in the Alola Region.

Melanie explained that all Pokémon from different Regions come here either abandoned or injured.

ash scanned all the different Region Pokémon here.

[Petilil, the Bulb Pokémon. Petilil prefer living in rich, fertile soil where all types of plants grow in abundance.

Note: Petilil are located in the Unova Region.

Second Note: Petilil are only comes in Female.]

[Baltoy, the Clay Doll Pokémon. Baltoy moves about while spinning like a top. It is said that Baltoy coexisted with humans in Ancient Times.

Note: Baltoy are located in the Hoenn Region.]

[Chatot, the Music Note Pokémon. It copies whatever sounds it hears and arrange them into its own melody.

Note: Chatot are located in the Sinnoh Region.]

[Bagon, the Rock Head Pokémon. Bagon dreams of being able to fly through the air. When frustrated from not flying, Bagon uses its head to smash rocks into powder.

Note: Bagon are founded in the Hoenn Region.]

[Rockruff, the Puppy Pokémon. Rockruff has an excellent sense of smell. It will never forget. An odour after smelling it once.

Note: Rockruff are only founded in the Alola Region.]

"Alola Region... Hmm, wasn't that a new Region?" Brock asked.

"Yeah. But that's not all, Professor Oak said that the Alola Region has some Kanto Pokémon in 'Alola Forms'." ash answered.

"I heard about that too." Alain said, tending to the Bagon and one Rockruff who they both took a liking to the oldest Sycamore. "Not much has been discovered, about them yet."

"I see." Brock said, looking after a Weepinbell and Baltoy.

ash called out lucario, Pidgeot, Nidoran  couples and mew out to have some fresh air, will she tended to the other Rockruff.

lucario sense someone or a Pokémon familiar from the distance, 'It can't be her.' He thought.

[Break Scene]

"This aura..." A mature female voice said and looked, "This is brothers aura."

"Luxio? " Luxio asked, Lucario who was a female but with emerald-green eyes.

"Its my brother. My brother is close by, including another one with a strong aura inside of her or him." Female Lucario answered.

"Lux Luxio Luxio? " Luxio asked.

Bulbasaur returned from his patrol area.

Lucario closed her eyes and focus on her brother aura, "The village." She answered. "I also sense five humans there, including the one I sense with a strong aura."

Luxio thought, "Luxio Lux Luxio Luxio Lux.  " He voiced out.

Bulbasaur stiffen, "Bulba Bulbasaur. " He said.

They nodded and took of towards the Hidden Village.

[Break Scene]

lucario looked around, "It is her." He said.

ash looked up from playing with the Rockruff, who has lots of energy, "What's wrong lucario?" She asked, curious.

"Its my sisters aura, she's here." lucario  answered.

"Your sister? Ah, I remember you telling that you've got a twin." ash said.

"Hey ash- nee-chan, what's up?" mairin asked.

"What's up! What's up!" Chatot repeated.

"lucario sense his sister aura, so she's nearby."ash answered. "But what is she during in Kanto?"

lucario shook his head, "I don't know Mistress but last I saw her was back in Sinnoh until I was  taken  away ." He said.

"Hmm." ash nodded, went back to playing with Rockruff.

"Do you think she could've been stolen or got a trainer?" mairin suggested.

"Could be." lucario said. "I'll ask her when she arrives."

Mairin was playing with Petilil, Cherubi and Oddish who was now okay, since it was this human who apologies before.

"Hey." Alain saw Bagon trying to tackle Pidgeot, who immediately stepped to the side avoiding the tackle.

"Wah..." Mairin sweat dropped, "What a happy-go-tackle Pokémon."

"More like, trying to headbutt Pidgeot." mairin retorted. "That Bagon sure has a lot of energy, like the two Rockruff."

lucario and ash looked towards a direction, "Incoming. / Incoming." They both said.

Everyone turned towards the sound of the rustling bush and out came the Bulbasaur and Luxio from before along with a Lucario who has emerald-green eyes.

"Hey, there from before." Mairin said.

Lucario looked at her brother and brighten up, "Brother!" She exclaimed, happily in telepathy.

"Sister." lucario said, with a small smile.

"Ehhhh?!!! Brother and Sister!" brock exclaimed, shocked.

"Yeah, he was take awayfrom her" said ash

"Makes sense. They are both unusual with they gem-like colour eyes." Brock commented.

"But how is Lucario here?" Alain asked, curiously.

"Yeah, sister how did you end up here." lucario asked.

"I can answer that, I found Lucario here as a Riolu who was injured, she washed down the river, she told me that she was captured by poachers." Melanie answered.

"So what about Bulbasaur and Luxio, they looked trained?" mairin asked.

"Bulbasaur was abandoned by his trainer, for some reason he didn't listen to his trainer and that cause the abandoned. Luxio was critically injured in the forest, his trainer trained him so hard that his trainer didn't even bother to heal him." Melanie answered, sadly.

The gang was mad, at what Melanie said.

ash twitched, "What I wouldn't..." She cursed in her head.

"How mean!" Mairin huffed. "Cruel is more like it." she said.

Lucario and his sister went to talk to each other, what happen and Bulbasaur and Luxio watched over the other Pokémon carefully as the humans where playing with them.

While everything was going smoothly, suddenly a mysterious large shadow was flying over them.

"What's going on?" ash asked.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" A familiar laughter was heard and a motto was heard.

"Ah, its Team Rocket again!" Mairin exclaimed, she quickly picked up the three Grass-type Pokémon into her arms and ran towards her brother.

"Mistress!" lucario appeared from the forest with his sister following.

"Who are they?" Melanie asked.

"They are thieves, who like to steal people's Pokémon." mairin answered.

"What are you doing here?!" Brock shouted.

"What do you think twerp?" Jessie smirked, "We're here to take all the Pokémon. Show them Meowth." She said.

"Meowth, here I go!" Meowth pressed a button on the remote and from the ballon a huge vacuum hose came from under the basket.

"Quick everyone into the cabin!" ash  exclaimed, she picked up Rockruff, just incase.

"Its surprising that they never run out of ideas." Brock commented, carrying Weepinbell with Baltoy following behind.

"Its Team Rocket." Alain said, simply, carrying Bagon and Rockruff.

Everyone followed the order and ran inside the cabin, with all the Pokémon.

The hose started sucking up but got for long, when it was cut.

"What?!" Team Rocket shouted out.

ash saw Pidgeot, guess Team Rocket didn't see her, "lucario, Aura Sphere at the hose." She ordered.

lucario threw an Aura Sphere, destroying the hose into nothing.

"OH NO!" James exclaimed, pulling his hair.

A vine came from no-where and hit the remote that Mewoth was controlling, out of his hand and soon a Thunder attack struck.

"AHHHHHHH!!" Team Rocket got burnt.

"What was that?!" Jessie shouted.

"Luxio! / Bulbasaur!" Two Pokémon called out.

"Here we go again. lucario end it with Aura Sphere." ash said.

"I'll help." Lucario said.

lucario nodded.

Both Lucario's summoned an Aura Sphere and it combined together creating a giant orb.

"Oo Oh..." Team Rocket muttered out.

"Woah." mairin awed.

"Woah! Woah!" Chatot repeated.

They both kicked it, sending the giant Aura Sphere towards Team Rocket's balloon, causing it to explode.

"TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" They exclaimed as they flew off.

Mairin sighs, "I wonder when will they give up." She said.

"Never Mairin, but who knows maybe one day they will." ash said. "Hey, thanks a lot."

"Luxio!" Luxio smile and he frozen and glowed, he grew bigger and his body began to change, once the glow died down, showing a newly evolved Luxray. "Luxray!"

"Oh wow." ash scanned the newly Pokémon.

[Luxray, the Gleam Eyes Pokémon. The evolved form of Luxio. It's eyes can see through anything, it can even spot its prey hiding in the shadows.]

"Congratulations, Luxray." ash said.

"Yeah, congrats!" Mairin exclaimed.

"Bulbasaur." Bulbasaur smiled at his friend.

"Lux Luxray!" Luxray smiled, not all humans are bad.

[Break Scene]

After the trouble with Team Rocket was over, it was time for the gang to continue on.

But not before Melanie stopping them for something important.

"Please take Bulbasaur, Luxray, Lucario and Rockruff with you." Melanie said to ash, so the said Pokémon stepped forwarded.

"Huh?" ash questioned, if she heard right.

"It was time for them to leave and get out to see the real world." Melanie explained, "Also these Pokémon shouldn't stay here forever and ever, they need to leave soon and grow up into the real world. So please take care off them. Beside Lucario wouldn't want to be separated from her brother, now that she found him."

ash smiled and nodded, she took out four Pokéballs, "Thanks Melanie and I'll promise to take good care of them." She said and each Pokémon tapped a Pokéball each, getting sucked inside.

Melanie turned to the others, "Petilil, Cherubi and Oddish, you've three have taken a liking to Mairin, please go with her." She continued, "Bagon and Rockruff, with Alain. Chatot I know you Weepinbell and Baltoy you've taken a liken to Brock. Please go and explore the world."

As each Pokémon was said; Mairin caught three new Grass-type and immediately gave them nicknames.  Chatot who immediately landed on brock's head, taking happily. Bagon happily jumped into Alain's arms with Rockruff nuzzling his leg and finally Weepinbell and Baltoy were caught from Brock.

It was now time to leave, as the gang thanked Melanie and said goodbye to her and the Pokémon of the Hidden Village.

[Break Scene]

And so our heroes say goodbye to the Hidden Village while gaining new Pokémons and friend, and so the journey continues.
