ADVENTURE AND TROUBLE ABOARD THE ST. ANNE SHIP

As the gang was still in Vermilion City, they were at the Vermilion Harbour, looking at all the ships.

"Wow." Mairin said and she spotted a huge white ship, "Hey, check that out." She pointed.

"Um." The gang looked at the huge white ship, that Mairin pointed to.

"That's the St. Anne, its the largest ship in the Kanto." Brock read from a book.

"Wow, it would be nice to be able travel on that." mairin said.

"It would, but we don't have the money for it." ash said.

"A ship that famous, is quiet expensive you know." Alain added.

kid dropped her head down in defeat, knowning her older sibling was right.

"Lets move on." Brock said.

The gang walked off, when... Party poppers was released in front of them.

"Congratulations!" Two voice cheered, "You guys are way lucky, you get to go on a super delicacy sea cruise!"

"A sea cruise?" The gang blinked, confused.

"Pika?" pikachu blinked.

One of girl, dark orange hair, appeared in front of the gang, "Well ya know, we have these incredible super cool tickets for you." She held out a green ticket.

"Coooll~~" The girl with short gold hair said.

"Cool huh." Dark orange haired girl smiled, showing the gang the ticket.

"What?" Mairin said.

"Ches Chespin. (Weird people.)" Chespie sweat dropped.

"These tickets are for the biggest party ever, on the St. Anne cruise liner." Dark orange haired girl continued.

"The famous St. Anne." Brock questioned.

"Cool~" The gold hair girl said.

"The coolest ship on the sea." The dark orange hair girl said.

"Oh..." mairin mouthed.

"Everyone is going to be there and have like the coolest party."

"Cool~~"

"And the party is for Pokémon Trainers only."

"Cool~~!"

"Step this way." The dark orange hair said.

"He heheheheh!" The gold hair laughed or giggled.

"It would be a rattle party, all the rattle Pokémon Trainer are going would be there."

"Okay..." ash said, unsure.

"Here are your tickets." The dark orange haired girl, held them out towards ash.

"Um, it would be nice, but we don't have the money." Brock said.

"Oh wooo, you don't understand, there totally free."

"Huh?" The gang questioned, they didn't hear right.

"There to-to-ta-lly free." The dark orange haired girl repeated slowly.

"Why exactly are they free?" Alain asked.

"You see anyone who is a Pokémon Trainer, are really cool, so we decide to give them to you, seeing your a Pokémon Trainer."

"Cool~"

"Here, just take them." The girl place them in ash's hand. "Bye~"

Both girl took off in an instant.

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"... Well, lets use them, they gave to us. It would be a waste not to." ash said to the gang.

"Yeah." The gang said.

"But still..." ash looked at the direction the two girl ran off, 'Something was off about them.' She thought

pikachu patted her trainers head, "Pikapi? (You okay?)" She asked.

Alain looked back, "ashley?"

ash shook her head, "Nothing."

The gang went towards the Harbour and soon they found the St. Anne.

"Wow, can't wait to see what kind of events are aboard." ash grinned, excitedly.

"I know, what Pokémon and food." Mairin said, happily.

"Okay, okay." Brock laughed.

The gang walked aboard the St. Anne cruise ship.

[Break Scene]

Unknown the gang, that the ship was a trap set by Team Rocket and the two ladies were really Jessie and James in disguise, they took of their disguises.

"Who ever thought that would be so easy?" Jessie said.

"And who ever thought I would make a pretty woman?" James joked.

"Quiet you two." Meowth said, "The Boss wants to talk to us."

A screen came up, showing the boss of Team Rocket was a middle aged man, wearing a orange suit, you can't really see his face but, his desire was to capture hundreds of powerful Pokémon and use their power to make the whole world his own, to have both humans and Pokémon under his control.

"Is everything ready?" The Boss of Team Rocket asked.

"Yes sir!" Jessie answered, "We have hundreds of Pokémon trainers aboard the St. Anne."

"Excellent," The Boss said, "my men have gone aboard and when the time is right, we will get all of those trainers Pokémon."

The screen went off.

"Time to get to work." Meowth said.

Jessie and James agreed.

[Break Scene]

"Amazing, this ship is really packed." Mairin said.

"Your right, its like a Pokémon Paradise." Brock said.

Inside the ship were packed with Pokémon and trainers, there was a dozen of booths with food, accessories, clothes, games and even Pokémon battles are happening on the ship.

ash looked at all the Pokémon battles and notice some were not from Kanto, "This must be international ship because I'm seeing lots of Pokémon from other regions as well." She said.

"Your right." Alain said.

"How about we look around and meet back in an hour at one table for some food?" Brock suggested.

"Sound like a great idea." ash said.

"You behave Mairin." Alain added.

kid pouted , "I will."

"lets part out." ash said.

"We'll see you in an hour Brock." Alain said.

Brock nodded, "Okay."

[Break Scene]

"Welcome! Welcome! To Pokémon Balloon Darts!" The man announced, "Try your luck at getting a Flying-type Pokémon to take care off."

The balloons were set up in different designs and there six bunches in; green, red, blue, purple, grey and black.

mairin looked interested, "Excuse me, how do you play this?" she asked.

The man smiled, "Its quiet easy, you see all you have to do is to hit all of these five balloons in the colour set, you have three tries. If you hit 5/5 same colour balloon you get a random Flying-type Pokémon, 4/5 you get a Flying-type Pokémon Egg and well anything below, you get a prize." He pointed to the display case below, in front of him.

Inside the display case were; different Pokémon key chains, Pokémon necklaces, bracelets and wristbands/ sweatbands.

Mairin looked at all the balloon in different colours and how they were arranged, "Wow, sounds easy but looks difficult." She said.

"I see. I like to try." mairin said.

"Of course." The man handed mairin eight darts carefully. "Good luck."

mairin nodded and looked at the balloons, she concentrated and threw one dart and it popped one blue colour balloon 'POP!', she threw another one 'POP!' and another one 'POP!'.

The store man whistled impressed, "Wow, kid not bad." He complimented.

mairin threw another one, but this time it missed. "Oh man."

"No worries kid, you have four more tries." The store man assured

The mairin aimed at another blue one, she threw it 'POP!' It hit!

"Yes!" mairin cheered, "Just one more." she threw the last one and... 'POP!' It hit!

"Alright!" Mairin cheered.

mairin pumped his fist in the air, "Yatta! I did it!" she cheered, not before placing the extra darts on the table.

The store man clapped, "Impressive." He went towards a display hidden under the chair and took out a Pokéball, "Well, here you go!" He handed mairin the Pokéball, "A unknown Flying-type Pokémon. Hope you like it, kid."

mairin took the Pokéball and smiled, "Thank you sir." she said.

"Chespin!" Chespie smiled..

kid place her new unknown Pokémon away and ran off towards the next game she want to play or see.

[Break Scene]

Meanwhile with ash and Alain, they were looking around the stores to see anything interesting.

ash got so bored, she immediately went towards a ticket booth, she tried her luck against a Scratch Ticket game, chance of winning a set of Eevee Evolution toys; Eevee, Flareon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon and a Sylveon, what surprised her, that she actually won on her first go.

Alain smiled, amused, "Your that bored?" He asked.

"Yes. We've been walking around for ten minutes. Isn't there anything interesting?" ash complimented, she place the toys into her bag.

"Hey! You two?!" A snotty voice called out.

ash and Alain both turned around, seeing a girl and boy around ten years old, one girl with long yellow hair and brown eyes wearing a blue dress, next to her was a boy with short spiky blue hair and black eyes wearing a plain blue shirt and black shorts.

"Yes." ash said.

"Up for a battle?" The boy asked them. "A Tag-Battle?"

Alain raised an eyebrow, "Sure." He replied.

"Okay." The girl smile, at him.

For some reason Alain and ash, didn't have a good feeling about this.

As the four trainers, went towards the field that was set up in the cruise.

"So, before we start. Who are you two exactly?" ash asked, they never really given them their names.

"Names Angel, remember it!" The girl answered, arrogantly, she tossed a Pokéball into the air, "Come on out, Nidoqueen!"

"Ethan." The boy answered, he tossed his Pokéball into the air, "Nidoking, lets beat them!"

"Nido!" Both male and female Nido cried out, ready to battle.

Alain scanned both Pokémon with his Pokédex.

[Nidoqueen, the Drill Pokémon. Nidoqueen has thick skin covering its entire body, protecting it from whatever techniques are used against it.]

[Nidoking, the Drill Pokémon. Nidoking swings its large tail about to create distance, then charges in with the full force of its body behind it.]

ash face palm herself, "I definitely have a magnet to attract arrogant trainers." She mumbled to herself.

Alain chuckled, "Lets go. Electabuzz go." He released his electric Pokémon.

"Electabuzz!" He pumped his fist, ready to fight.

ash pouts, she took out a Pokéball, "No funny Alain... Show them your strength, gallade" She tossed the Pokéball into the air, out came her blade Pokémon.

"Gallade." gallade ready his arms, in a fighting stance

"Wait!" Angel hold her hand out in front and then smirked, "How about a bet?"

"Bet?" ash questioned, having bad feeling about what bet it is.

Ethan smirked this time, "Yes, if we win-"

"You'll go out with us." Angel finished, with a smug expression.

ash and Alain both twitched, "Your kidding." They both said, disbelief.

pikachu palm herself, "Pikachu. (Unbelievable.)" She said.

"No, were not." Ethan smirked and looked at ash, "So do we have a deal?"

ash cringed at the boy expression, how he was looking at her, a part of her wants to punch the boy and another wants to beat the hell out of him. She's ten, ten years old for Arceus sake, sorry for looking more mature and tall, then the normal ten years old girl.

Alain also wasn't have a good time, the girl Angel keeps looking at him with a disturbing face. Why him, he also asked himself multiple of times.

They both want to hit their heads against a wall for all time sake, but holding themselves back.

The oldest Sycamore looked at ash, "Any ideas?"

"Yes. Take them down quickly." The oldest Ketchum replied, bluntly. "Their annoying the hell out of me with that look."

Alain smirked, "True. We accept." He said.

"Great, let's start. Nidoqueen use Body Slam!" Angel ordered.

"Nidoking use Poison Sting!" Ethan commanded.

Nidoqueen ran and jumped up into the air, while Nidoking released purple thin needles towards the electric and blade Pokémon.

"Electabuzz use Protect." Alain ordered.

Electabuzz stood in front of Vincent and brought up a green orb, protecting them from the poisonous needles.

"gallade, use Agility and then Psycho Cut on Nidoqueen!" ash commanded.

gallade stepped to the side and he vanished, only to reappeared behind of female drill Pokémon and he cut her on the back.

"Nidoooo!" Nidoqueen cried out in pain and fell towards the ground with a loud crash.

"Next." gallade immediately jumped towards Nidoking and cut his back making the male drill Pokémon collapse.

"Nidooooo!" Male drill Pokémon cried out in pain.

Both Angel and Ethan gasped, "No Nidoqueen!/ Nidoking!" They exclaimed.

"Electabuzz use Ice Punch on Nidoking." Alain said, Electabuzz ran reeling his fist that was coated in an icy blue back, he punched the male drill Pokémon on the stomach.

"gallade, Psyshock on Nidoqueen." ash said, gallade released a multicolour beam hitting the female drill Pokémon directly.

Both drill Pokémon cried out in pain, they couldn't handle anymore of the attacks and power of them, they both collapsed onto the ground with a 'THUD!'

"Oh." ash mouth, "Did we overdo it?" She asked her partner.

Alain looked at her, "To be honest, no. Our life was on the risk." He replied.

pikachu nodded, "Pika. (True.)" She nodded, again.

"IM-IMPOSSIBLE!" Angel screeched.

ash covered her ear, along with pikachu

Alain looked at them with a bored expression.

"They took both out our Pokémon with two direct attacks." Ethan murmured in disbelief.

Both Ketchum and Sycamore thanked their Pokémon before returning them.

"We win. So no date." ash stated, "Also we're leaving." She grabbed Alain's hand and dragged him off towards a game booth, she needs to released some steam.

"..." Angel and Ethan didn't say anything.

"Pikapi Pikachu. (There lost in thought.)" pikachu  said.

"Can't blame them." ash said.

Alain said nothing, he was glad that it was over and leaving.

[Break Scene]

While with Brock, he was looking through Pokémon Breeders products and supplied, he found some great ones and brought some; Pokémon First Aid Kit and a Complete Set of Pokémon Grooming Brushes.

Brock saw a booth that involved answering Breeders question and the prize was incredible and amazing at the same time; the prize was a Portable Rejuvenator Machine.

Portable Rejuvenator Machine is a device that Nurse Joy uses to restore a Pokémon's energy and cure status conditions, but if the Pokémon has any serious physical damage like a broken bone than it wouldn't work.

Brock entered it and won, the questions was about Pokémon Breeders experience and he was one in becoming. He looked at the time and decide to do a bit more searching than go and meet up with the others.

[Break Scene]

Back with ash, and Alain, both of them were not having a good time, they had Pokémon Battles but the battles mostly involving asking them on a date.

ash was cursing creativity inside her head, which she learnt or known from who knows where. She used pikachu for O.M.K (One Move Knockout) attack, she did want to use charizard but she was at Professor Oak's Lab training her other Pokémons.

Alain was seriously going to snap at someone and isn't going to be pretty, he ended up using his Charizard.

pikachu was also getting annoyed how they are bothering her trainer and friend, she mostly knock the opponents Pokémon out with a Thunderbolt or Iron Tail.

Charizard was annoyed, no, really annoyed by all the arrogant and smug female and some male trainers who think they can just win for a date. He roared the field, most Pokémon flinched and returned themselves back to their Pokéball, he smiled smugly at the success of that.

After twelfth Tag-Battle opponents, ash and Alain immediately left the field, with a very annoyed expression.

"That's it! No more! If I hear about another trainer asking for a battle, I'm going to reject them no matter what they say. I like Pokémon Battles but this is totally ridiculous!" ash ranted, out.

"Same here. They just won't give up." Alain said, with his arms crossed.

"Pikapi Pika. (I'm getting hungry.)" pikachu said, all that battle made her very hungry.

"Me too. Alain are you getting hungry?" ash asked.

Alain nodded, "Yeah, lets go."

ash was about to walk towards the food hall, when she saw something that made her even more mad, scratch that she was pissed off even more and it was a man was selling a Shiny Magikarp, a black Magikarp? And a odd white colour Feebas.

"Alain, look at the colour of the Feebas and Magikarp, along with the Shiny Magikarp." ash pointed.

Alain looked and was pissed off as well, then he got a closer look at the Feebas, it was slightly smaller than a normal Feebas, instead of usual brown scale and blue fins, the colour is mix with lavender purple and its fins were pitch white.

The black Magikarp was small compared to the Shiny Magikarp, its body was black with large vacant eyes and grey lips, its pectoral and tail fins are white, greyish whiskers.

"Wait here, I'll go call the Security Guard." Alain said, then walked off.

ash hated people that sells Pokémon to make money, reminds her off the poachers that Damian bought off.

Alain came back with the Security Guard and he bought two more Guards and the Salesman arrested.

"Thank you for telling us about him." The Security Guard said, "Officer Jenny warned us about him some time ago. She has been after him for years. Now he will be in jail." He walked off with the arrested seller.

Alain sighs, he ran his hand through his hair, "This day can't get anymore worse." He said. "Ashley?"

ash walked over to the Magikarp and Feebas in the tank, "Hey Magikarp, Feebas," she called out, putting her hands on the glasses, "I was wondering if you two like come with me and my friend." She pointed to Alain, "I don't care what colours you are, Feebas, Magikarp, I'll say its a unique colouring like my Sylveon, and magikarp ." She smiled.

Feebas and Magikarps looked at each other, most trainers ignore them because of their colouring or because they look weak, but this trainer didn't care.

They both nodded, with a eye smile.

Alain handed ash two Pokéball he found at the top of the tanks, they belonged to them and he hand one in his hand.

ash smile, "Thanks." She returned both Pokémon back into their captured Pokéball.

With Alain doing the same thing with the Shiny Magikarp.

"Pikapi. (New friends.)" pikachu nodded, happily.

"Yeah."

Alain looked around, seeing a spare table, "Let's go and get something to eat." He pointed to the spare, empty table.

ash nodded, she is getting hungry.

[Break Scene]

Brock, Mairin,  and their Pokémon met back at the table they saw ash and Alain sitting at, eating, they too began filling up their plates with food.

The gang talk about what happened when they split for an hour or so, they chatted themselves and caught up quickly.

Brock, Mairin, and their Pokémon sweat dropped heavily at the annoyed and dark aura/atmosphere around them.

Brock might know, he heard about two strong trainers defeating over ten trainers in a Tag-Battle, they must've did something to piss ash and Alain off badly and they are the mostly calmness people in the group.

Mairin decided to change the subject quickly and they borrowed her sibling Pokédex to scanned their Pokéball their won, it was a surprise.

Mairin got a Pokémon from the Alola Region, it was a female Pom-Pom Oricorio a Electric/Flying-type, Mairin loved it, she doesn't have a Electric-type Pokémon yet.

As ten minutes has past... Suddenly a voice sounded over the ships intercom, "WILL ALL TRAINER'S PLEASE GO TO THE MAIN BALLROOM FOR THE OFFICIAL TICKET DRAWING! THANK YOU!" A male voice spoke.

"What's the Ticket Drawing?" mairin asked, curiously.

Brock opened up a booklet and started skimming through the pages, "Here it is. Well it says that once a month on the St. Anne, they draw 5 numbers that match some of the passenger's tickets. Each winner gets a special prize that's related to Pokémon in some way." He read out.

Alain raised an eyebrow, "Sounds interesting." He said.

ash nodded, "Lets go."

The gang followed the other trainers to the main ballroom.

[Break Scene]

"Alright Pokémon Trainers, its time for the monthly ticket drawing!" The announcer said through the microphone, "My name is Vivian Meridian, some of you may know my from the Hoenn Region Pokémon Contest MC."

Several of the trainers obviously coordinators from Hoenn, started cheering.

"Pokémon Contest?" Mairin frowned, confused.

"A Pokémon Contest is divided into two parts. In the first round, called the Performance Stage, Coordinators have their Pokémon performing their moves in order to showcase their style, beauty, grace and skill is the main focus, it's the same as the second stage but it's a battle performance." ash explained.

"Oh." Mairin thought, "Sounds fun."

"Its up to you to choose." Alain spoke up.

Mairin nodded, she doesn't really know what path to choose yet, so far; Pokémon Trainer and now Pokémon Coordinator is added.

An assisstant walked up to the stage and handed Vivian an envelope, she opened it and pulled out the letter which announce five winners.

"Alright we have our five winners! First off is our fifth place prize winner is... Jeff of Lilycove City!"

The crowd started to clapping as Jeff; who has dark green hair and light green eyes, he went onto the stage with a smile on his face.

"Our fourth place winner is... Peter from Nimbus City!"

The crowd cheered again as Peter who has tanned skinned, short dark brown spiky hair and brown eyes, walked onto the stage completely shocked.

"Our third place winner is... Tim from Pewter City!"

The crowd cheered again, Tim who has neck dark blue hair and eyes, walked up the stage with a smile.

"Our second place winner is... Alain from Lumiose City!

The crowd cheered again.

"Say what?" Mairin blinked in surprise. "Brother, you've got pick as one of the winners!" She hugged him.

Alain returned the hug, "Yeah." He gave a small smile.

"Congrats!" Brock slapped his back, playfully.

ash nodded with a smile.

Alain walked down the stairs, he walked up the stage stairs and stood beside the other winners.

"And... Finally our first place winner and grand prize winner is..."

Everyone was silent waiting for the final announcement, hearing who is the first and grand winner.

"Ashley of Pallet Town!"

The crowd went wild, clapping and cheering.

"Eh? Huh?" ash said losing her balance on the pole she was leaning against in disbelief. "What? How?"

"Wow!" Mairin cheered.

"I'll say." Brock clapped.

"Hai hai." ash sighs and walked towards the stage, where the other winners were and she stood next to Alain. "Yo."

Alain chuckled, in response.

"Alright, now that all of our winner's have been chosen. It's time to give them their prizes!" Vivian announced.

Another assistant walked onto the stage and presented Vivian with a flat box with a Pokéball symbol on the front.

Vivian walked up to Jeff, "As our fifth place winner, your prize is..." She opened the box and presented to Jeff, inside were set of seven beautiful colour wings in a display case. "A full set of Wings! Congratulations Jeff!"

"Thank you very much!" Jeff said, he took the box and left the stage.

The assistant walked back onto the stage, this time with two boxes.

"For our fourth place winner, we have..." Vivian opened up both boxes, "A complete set if Vitamins and a dozen bottles of Moomoo Milk!"

"Thank you." Peter said with a bow, he took the boxes and left the stage.

Vivian then walked up to Tim with two boxes in tow, "For our third place winner, we have..." She opened the box, "A compete set of a type Pokéballs and a Pokémon Egg."

Tim eyes widen, "Oh wow, thank you so much!" He said took the boxes and left the stage.

Vivian then walked up to Alain with two boxes in tow as well, "For our second place winner, we have..." She opened up both boxes, "A unknown Mega Stone, Seven random Pokéballs and a Mystery Pokémon."

'Wonder what could it be?' ash thought. 'And did she say Mega Stone.'

'Mega Stone, huh.' Alain thought, he couldn't tell what it was since it was covered up in a large black tied bag, 'The mystery Pokémon must be a match towards it no doubt.' He gave a small smile, "Thank you." Alain said, as they gave him two boxes and a closed Pokéball.

"Well Alain, would you like to open the Pokéball up now and show the audience, or wait till later?" Vivian asked.

Alain thought for a second and shook his head, "I'll wait till later to look." He answered and left the stage.

"Awwww..." The crowed said, they wanted to see what Pokémon it was.

"Aw man." Mairin pouted, she wanted to see the Pokémon.

Brock nodded, "That's true."

"And now for our final first place winner, we have..." Vivian announced as the assistant walked up with five boxes behind, "A new Super Rod, Portable Rejuvenator Machine, A Full Set of Evolutionary Stones, A Set of Pokéballs and a Mystery Pokémon! Talk about an amazing wonderful prize!"

ash eyes widen in shocked at the prizes she won, they were all amazing and they were all hard to gather up in stores. "Wow, thank you very much!" She said.

"Amazing, a Super Rod and a Portable Rejuvenator Machine." Brock said, he already has one.

"Wow, a set of Evolution Stones." mairin awed. "A Set of Pokéballs." Mairin added.

"A Mystery Pokémon." brock and mairin together with a grinned, "Can't wait."

ash gathered up all the boxes and gave a small bow before leaving the stage with her prizes.

[Break Scene]

Into their bag, ash looked at her Pokéball along with Alain, wondering what Pokémon is inside.

ash got bored and pulled out her Pokédex and scanned the Pokéball.

[Absol, the Disaster Pokémon. When disasters are detected with its horn, Absol comes down from the mountains to warn people.

Hidden Ability: Justified

Type: Dark

Known Moves: Feint, Future Sight, Leer, Perish Song, Quick Attack, Scratch, Bite, Slash, Double Team, Rest, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt and Flamethrower.

ash whistle to herself, "Amazing Pokémon." She said, "Absol sure has a lot of moves." She was glad to have the Note part in the Pokédex, it helps a lot and its true what they say about Absol's.

Alain did the same and scanned his Pokéball.

[Gible, the Land Shark Pokémon. Gible once lived in the tropics and avoid cold, it lives in caves warmed by geothermal heat.

"Gible huh." Alain took out his other prize in a large black pouch and opened, a medium round bead came out and inside the stone was a sunset colour DNA. "Garchompite." He said.

"Hey ash-nee-chan, Alain." mairin called out, walking up to them. "What Pokémon is it?"

"I got an male Absol." ash said.

"A male Gible." Alain said.

"Wah~" Mairin smiled.

"Those are great Pokémons." Brock said.

"Yeah."ash and Alain nodded.

All the sudden the ballroom become in lockdown, making everyone look around in panic.

"What in the-" Brock was cut off.

"This can't be good." Mairin gulped and grabbed her brothers shirt, tightly. "Never good with this kind of stuff happens." mairin added

The light black out for second, then it lit back up and in the room was Team Rocket grunts in front of trainers.

"What do you want?" A trainer asked.

"What else, we want your Pokémon." Jessie replied with a smirked and clicked her fingers.

Team Rocket grunts were all wearing large mechanical backpacks with two hoses protruding over their shoulders.

"Suck up all their Pokémon!" James ordered.

The Team Rocket agents turned on the machines and the machines released powerful vacuums.

One Team Rocket member grabbed mairin by the arm, "Hand over your Pokémon kid!" He demanded.

ash reacted quickly, she grabbed the Team Rocket guy arm and twisted it behind his back, she kicked his legs making him fall and stomped on his back... hard.

The Team Rocket grunt screamed out in pain.

"Lay a hand on her again and you'll get worst what you got now." ash declared coldly, as her eyes glowed blue for a second.

Alain notice one of them about the grab Mairin again, he pulled her back and kicked him in the stomach, hard and he was set crashing into a table.

ash took a deep breath, "EVERYONE!" She called out to all the trainers present, "Call out your Pokémon and show these Team Rocket grunts that they should never mess with Pokémon Trainers!"

"RIGHT!" All trainers nodded and called out their Pokémon, fighting back.

ash, Alain, Mairin and Brock called out their Pokémon to help.

ash told gallade to use Teleport and Cut on all the vacuum machine on the back of Team Rocket grunts, Light to use Thunder Wave; paralysis them and  Absol to use Ice Beam. She didn't want to use gardevoir just in case and both Water-type she had on hold couldn't handle this just yet.

Alain told Charizard to use Flamethrower, Shelgon to use Dragon Breath, Electabuzz to use Thunderbolt, Piplup to use Bubble Beam and Gible to use Slash. His Shiny Marikarp wasn't right for this battle

Mairin told Chespie to use Bullet Seed, Usagi to use Ice Beam, Blossom to use Razor Leaf, Torra and Leaf to both use Energy Ball and Cheer a.k.a Pom-Pom Oricorio to use Air Cutter.

Brock told Geodude to use Rollout, Weepinbell to use Razor Leaf, Machoke to use Karate Chop, Zubat to use Super Sonic and Sandslash to use Slash. Onix was too big to let out and its a risk onboard a ship.

Then at last the Electric-types sent all the Team Rocket members away with their Thunderbolt attacks.

"WE DID IT!" A random trainer shouted happily.

They cheered happily realizing that they have won against Team Rocket.

The gang was happy as well and returned all their Pokémon back, telling them a job well down.

... But the celebration didn't last long...

During the battle, the cruise somehow caught up right in the middle of a storm and a very nasty one to make it the ship rock back and forth.

The other trainers were scared too, seeing a big storm that was extremely dangerous.

The Captain of the Ship appeared in the room, "Everyone!" He said through the microphone in his hand, "Don't panic! Panicking will only lead to more trouble for you! There are lots of life boats on deck! They will get us to safety!"

Alain tched, he walked up to the Captain, "Sorry about this." He said and took the microphone, "Everyone listen!"

The people on the ship stopped their hysterics and listened to the group that helped them keep their Pokémon, even the Captain.

"If you have any Flying or Water-type Pokémon send them out now and have them carry you to the shore!" Alain spoke, "For the rest of you if there are any lifeboats on this ship get on them quickly!"

The Captain nodded in thanks, "You heard the boy! Get moving quickly now!" He spoke.

They didn't need to be told twice because soon enough everyone was sending out Flying and Water-type Pokémon; climbing or jumping onto them, meanwhile those who didn't have any immediately ran towards the lifeboats and lucky it was big enough to fit lots of people.

ash stopped and saw a net full of Pokéballs; like over 30 and five Pokémon Eggs in a pile, "What in Arceus name?!" She exclaimed.

The rest of the gang stopped, "ash Nee-chan? / Ashley?" They questioned her.

ash pointed towards the Pokéball and Pokémon Eggs, "Get one each and hurry! I'll have gardevoir and gallade to Teleport us to port!" She said.

The gang nodded, Mairin and Brock carefully picked up the Pokémon Eggs, Alain took hold of the net full of Pokéballs and a Pokémon Egg and ash saw a grey metal suitcase, her instinct told her to take and she did along with a Pokémon Eggs.

ash called out gardevoir and gallade, "gardevoir, gallade combine your powers and use Teleport and get us to the port, quickly." She said.

gardevoir and gallade nodded, they concentrated and soon the gang vanish, they reappeared in the port where the St. Anne was beginning to sink.

The gang breaths heavily and sighs in relief.

"This is not our day." ash said and recalled back gardevoir and gallade not before thanking them.

"Pikapi~" pikachu yawned

Mairin followed with a yawn herself, "Your not the only one."

Brock nodded, "We're all tired, lets hit the Pokémon Centre and sort out everything tomorrow." He suggested.

"Sounds like a plan." Alain said.

The gang immediately went to the Pokémon Centre and they weren't surprise seeing trainers from the St. Anne, also booking a room.

They were too tired to even split up, so they booked one room, changing into their pyjamas and immediately hit the three beds in the room, falling asleep.

[Break Scene]

The next day, the gang woke up and went to the cafeteria for food, after that they spotted Officer Jenny asking trainers what happened onboard the St. Anne.

They went towards Nurse Joy asking her about the Pokémon Eggs and Pokéballs they found, along with the suitcase ash grabbed.

"Those Pokémon Eggs are prizes when Team Rocket attacked they must've thought to take them." Nurse Joy explained. "Also those Pokéballs did belong to some trainers who got caught before Team Rocket appeared, there are five Pokéballs that nobody owns."

"So nobody really owns them?" Brock asked, making sure.

Nurse Joy shook her head, "No."

ash thought of an idea, "Nurse Joy, you don't mind if we take the Pokémon Eggs and Pokéballs?" She asked.

"Of course not, you save them and I was about to ask you all if you wanted them." Nurse Joy smiled and called out her helper Pokémon.

Chansey came out with a stretcher that contained the five Pokémon Eggs in incubators and five Pokéballs.

"So..." Mairin trailed.

"Pick one Pokéball each and the Pokémon Egg, take the one you've picked up at the beginning." Alain said.

"That's works." mairin grinned.

Each of the gang took a Pokémon Egg and ash took two and a Pokéball

"Are we going to see what Pokémon is inside them?" mairin  asked, in excitement, looking at her Pokéball.

"Might as well." Brock said.

All the gang tossed their Pokéball in the air and out came their Pokémon.

"Tini~" A light blue serpentine-like Pokémon cooed.

"Axew!" A small green Pokémon with tusk said.

"Thim~" A orange moth-like Pokémon flapped its wings.

"Rose Roselia~" A thorn rose-like Pokémon smiled.

"Solrock!" A orange rock sun-like Pokémon said.

"Erm? I have a Dratini..." ash said.

"An Axew." Alain said.

Mairin had stars in her eyes, "Wow, I got a Roselia and mothim"

"And I got a Solrock. Perfect for gym battles." Brock said because Solrock was a Rock and Psychic-type.

ash took out her Pokédex and scanned all the Pokémon.

[Dratini, the Dragon Pokémon. Dratini sheds its skin as it grows, often doing so while hidden behind large powerful waterfalls.]

[Axew, the Tusk Pokémon. Axew marks its territory by making scratch marks on trees with its tusks, which regrow if they fall out.]

[Mothim, the Moth Pokémon. It has no particular habitat, but instead flies across the land, searching got its favorite nectar.]

[Roselia, the Thorn Pokémon. Roselia's aroma can bring serenity, but the thorns on its head contain a vicious poison.]

[Solrock, the Meteorite Pokémon. Solrock has the ability to read its opponent's mind. It attacks by rotating quickly while giving off and intense heat.]

"Wow, to think that these Pokémon were almost taken by Team Rocket." Brock said.

"That's true." Alain said.

As the gang introduced themselves and their Pokémon to each other, they were returned back to their Pokéball.

ash looked around, "I forgot something..." She walked towards Nurse Joy, "Nurse Joy what about the suitcase I found?"

Nurse Joy blinked, "Oh, the suitcase, I'm not sure what they are. Hold on a minute." She went to the back and grabbed the suitcase, "Here you go. We were able to open them." She opened it and inside was...

"Mega Stone!" ash and Alain exclaimed, shocked.

"Pikachu! (No way!)" pikachu exclaimed.

"Mega Stone... Seriously..." mairin looked at all the DNA stones. "That's a lot." "Why so many?" Mairin asked.

"My guess is that whoever the Leader of Team Rocket is must've wanted all the Mega Stone for themselves." Brock answered.

ash nodded, "I agree, look at them all. There is like one for every Pokémon that are capable to Mega Evolve." She added. "Mega Stones are still being discovered as well."

"True, but the really question is does the Leader of Team Rocket capable of Mega Evolution." Alain said.

"Don't know. They must have a strong bond with their Pokémon." mairin shrugged.

"But the leader is only interested in taking or stealing Pokémon." Mairin frowned.

"I see." Nurse Joy nodded, "How about you take them as well. Beside they'll be in good hands and use, instead of leaving them here."

"Really?" ash asked.

"Yes." Nurse Joy nodded and closed the suitcase handing it over to ash, "Good luck."

Alain gave a nodded, "Thank you."

"Your welcome."

[Break Scene]

As the gang exited out of the Pokémon Centre, they couldn't believe their luck.

ash place the suitcase into her bag, loving the bag, they decide its best if no one else knows about this and they'll sort everything out when their in their tent.

"Lets move on!" Mairin exclaimed, happily.

"Chespin!" Chespie smiled.

The rest of the gang nodded and headed off.

[Break Scene]

After escaping the St. Anne and gaining new Pokémon and Pokémon Egg, the gang continues onto their journey towards ash's next gym.
