SLIMY TROUBLE IN GRINGY CITY

As the gang continued travelling they came to a place called Gringy City.

The gang didn't really like Gringy City, why you ask because the place was badly polluted, with thick grey smoke was raising into the air and the water was a dark colour.

"I really really don't like this place. Its filthy and badly polluted, also a real bad stench in the air." ash stated bluntly about the place.

Mairin nodded, "Yeah and they is only lots of factories, And no people about."

Brock was reading information on Gringy City and frowned, "Listen to this; its says, Gringy City was originally bustling with activity but the city eventually over-expanded the factories and power plants, resulting in the town becoming virtually abandoned as well as the sea nearby becoming polluted." He read out.

"We should find the Pokémon Centre fast, I don't think its safe out here." Alain suggested.

The gang nodded agreeing and they quickly walked to the Pokémon Centre location right away.

[Break Scene]

It was quiet late when the gang reached the Pokémon Centre, so Nurse Joy was not happy with them being out so late.

The gang quickly book a room and left to their room.

ash lay on the bed, with pikachu on her stomach, "For once my glad to be inside, instead of outside." She said.

"Your right, the air in this place is really bad." alain said.

"And the sight isn't good at all." Mairin added.

Good thing Chespie was tired before they arrived in Gringy City.

"I suggest we leave immediately when daylights hit." Alain suggested.

"I'm with you." Brock nodded.

While they were about to get ready, the lights all the sudden went out.

ash groaned, "Oh come on, a black out, now?" She questioned.

"This is weird." Brock said.

"Let's go see Nurse Joy." Alain said.

So the gang went to see what happen, when they saw Nurse Joy standing looking worried and sad.

The gang saw the source, there were some Pokémon in incubators healing and without power the Pokémon are in serious trouble.

"If the power doesn't come back on soon, all those Pokémon might die." Nurse Joy said, worriedly.

"This is bad, we need to sort this out at once and fast." ash said. "Nurse Joy, we'll go and found out the problem."

"Thank you." Nurse Joy smiled in thanks.

[Break Scene]

The gang left the Pokémon Centre immediately, to found out what happen to the power, they went to Officer Jenny Office.

"Officer Jenny we have a problem." Brock said, "The Pokémon Centre got a black out and if the power don't come back soon the Pokémon there are going to die."

"That's the problem, I've been trying to contact the Power Plant since the black out, but no one is answering." Officer Jenny told them.

"Officer Jenny where is the Power Plant located?" Alain asked.

Officer Jenny pointed to the factory area, "Its over here, you really can't miss it. Its the biggest one." She replied.

"Thank you." ash said.

The gang ran off the Power Plant location.

[Break Scene]

It didn't take long to find the Power Plant; like Officer Jenny said, its the biggest building in Gringy City.

The Power Plant had big chimneys with lots of thick smoke coming out.

"Why do I have the feeling that this is where most of the pollution is coming from?" ash questioned.

Mairin notice a stream and gagged, "Eww, that is gross. The water is even worst here." She said.

"We should hurry." Brock said.

The gang walked into the building and what the gang didn't see was a that some sort of purple sludge was living in the stream.

[Break Scene]

Inside the Power Plant was very dark, it was really hard to see anything, but luckily Alain and Brock had brought flashlights with them.

"Okay, what are we going to do?" mairin asked, looking around the place.

"Simple, we find the main power room." ash started.

"And if there are people in there working on to get the power back on." Alain finished.

"Pikapi Pikachu. (We got an magnet company.)" pikachu pointed.

"Huh?"ash blinked and saw a magnet like Pokémon in front of her.

"Magnemite..." It said.

"Its a Magnemite." Brock said.

ash scanned the Pokémon.

[Magnemite, the Magnet Pokémon. Its able to float through the air and emits Thunder Wace through its magnet-shape units located on its sides.]

"What's a Magnemite doing here?" Mairin asked.

"Don't know." ash shrugged. "Hey, Magnemite do you know what's going on?"

"Magnemite..." Magnemite stared at ash, then suddenly it froze and flew off in a hurry.

"I was just asking." ash pouted.

"What happen is more like it?" Alain said.

pikachu smelt something bad, she immediately covered her nose, "Pikachu Pika. (Something smells bad.)" She said.

"Smells bad?" ash blinked, then the stench hit her nose, "Argh, yep."

The rest of the gang smelt it too and immediately covered their noses.

"What's that smell?" Mairin asked.

Alain looked behind them and saw a purple sludge and groaned, "Our answer is here." He said.

"Huh?" The gang said, turning around. "Oh man..." They saw it too.

"Grimer!" The purple sludge-like Pokémon said.

There were a lot of Grimer behind them.

"These guys must be the reason the Magnemite left." Brock said, holding his nose.

ash scanned the group of Grimer.

[Grimer, the Sludge Pokémon. It was born when sludge in a dirty stream was expose to the moon's X-Rays. Its appears among filth.]

"Appears among filth? This city. The pollution. Its makes sense." Brock said.

"The pollution in this city, called the Grimer's..." Alain said. "And if there are Grimer's then..."

The gang took a step back, the stench was stronger with them near and they didn't say anything... Not yet.

Mairin took a deep breath.

ash paled, knowing what's going to happen, "Oh no, Mairin ! Wait-" she started.

"THEY SMELL ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!" Mairin yelled out.

"A minute!" ash finished it was too late, the damage was done.

The Grimer's made an angry face, "GRIMER!"

A large purple blob of sludge dropped down behind the group of Grimer's.

"Muk!!" It said.

"There's a Muk among them as well." Alain said.

"Oh boy." ash scanned the large one.

[Muk, the Sludge Pokémon. The evolved form of Grimer. A toxic fluid seeps from its body. The fluid instantly kills plants and trees in contact.]

"The smell is even worst." Brock said.

The gang took more steps back, getting ready to run.

"MUK! (ATTACK!)" Muk ordered pointing to the gang.

"GRIMER! (CHARGE!)" The Grimer's charged forward.

"Run!" ash shouted, she grabbed her little sister like's hand hand.

The gang immediately ran.

Mairin felt bad, "I'm sorry! I couldn't take the smell much longer!" She shouted.

"Never mind! Keep running!" Brock shouted.

The gang continued to ran, till ash and mairin run into two men.

"Oof!" they recoiled, falling backwards.

Alain caught ash and Brock caught mairin, in time before they could hit the ground.

Both men were wearing blue jumpsuit, indicating that they both work here at the Power Plant factory.

"Hey, what are you kids doing here?" One of the asked.

"Getting far away from the Grimer! Run now!" Mairin yelled.

The two man saw the Grimer's, "Ahh! The Grimer!" They ran off.

"Hey wait!" ash shouted.

The gang immediately ran after them, they followed them into the main power room.

Brock immediately shut the door and locked it, he stood in front of it with Alain.

"Why is there a black out? Its causing trouble at the Pokémon Centre." ash asked.

Both of the workers grimace and introduced themselves first as Dick and Philip.

"Its because of the Grimer." Dick explained, "They've plugged up the water intake and out power generators won't Spin without water."

BANG! BANG!

"Guys! This door won't hold them!" Brock shouted, holding onto the door with Alain.

"Your all Pokémon trainers right?" Philip asked.

The gang nodded.

"Use your Pokémon to fight them." Philip said.

"If you do that, the Grimer may run away and the generator may work again." Dick explained.

Brock and Alain stepped away from the door, knowing its about to be broken down.

The door broken down, with Grimer and Muk behind them, coming in.

"Grimer!"

"Muk!"

"Let's do this." ash said.

"Pika!" pikachu stood ready.

Then an air vent form above in the main power room opened and out came Magnemite.

"Are you here to help us?" ash asked.

"Magnemite!" It nodded.

Then more Magnemite and the evolved form of Magnemite; Magneton appeared also.

ash scanned the evolved form.

[Magneton, the Magnet Pokémon. The evolved form of Magnemite. Its heavy gravitational power allows it to float and it can emit powerful magnetic electric fields.]

"Magnemite!"

"Magneton!"

All the Magnemite and Magneton fired a powerful Thunder Shock at all the Grimer's.

[Break Scene]

The Magnemite and Magneton also fired electric attacks at the Grimer's who are blocking the water intake.

"GRIMMMERRR!" The Grimer's flee the area.

The water immediately went through, the generator started to spin.

[Break Scene]

The light in the main power room was back on!

Dick and Philip was delighted and immediately set to work on the machines at once.

The gang cheered that the power was back.

"MUk!" Muk roared at them.

"We still have one more." Alain said.

"pikachu, Volt Tackle." ash ordered.

"Pika! Pika Pika Pika Pika Pikachu!" pikachu tackled Muk with her electricity covered body, that sent the sludge Pokémon away to who knows where.

"Alright!" Mairin  cheered.

"We did it!" Brock exclaimed.

After they defeated the Grimers and one Muk, the wild Magnemites and Magnetons went back to their original place, somewhere in the Power Plant.

Expect for one Magnemite and ash recognised it, "What's wrong?"

Magnemite eye smiled and floated around ash, "Magnemite!"

"You want to come with me?"

Magnemite nodded.

"Okay." ash took out a Pokéball and tap the magnet Pokémon, it was caught and teleported off.

[Break Scene]

The next morning the gang spoke to Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy about the city before they leave.

"You see the Grimer and Muk were in the stream because of the water is filthy and dirty." ash said.

"Its totally polluted." mairin said.

"I know ash,ey, we'll do everything we can till the water is clean again." Officer Jenny said.

"But if you clean up the air and water around here, the city will be good as new just like before." Alain said.

"Once again." Brock said. "And no Grimer and Muk."

"Of course we will." Nurse Joy smiled, "We promise."

"Bye Nurse Joy, Bye Officer Jenny!" Mairin said.

"Goodbye!" Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny bid farewell.

Our heroes leave Gringy City after helping defeating the Grimer and Muk with a big help from the Magnemite and Magneton.
