THE SAFARI ZONE! MEETING 2 AMAZING PEOPLE?

Our heroes has arrived at their destination the Safari Zone, where wild Pokémon are allowed to be captured.

ash yawned a bit, she changed her clothes to something more easy for the Safari Zone, wearing a dress wasn't a good idea that's for sure.

"Yahoo, can't wait to see what Pokémon are here." Takato said excitedly.

Mairin nodded excitedly, "Yeah." She hopes to capture something new.

Brock smiled slightly, "Kids these days are so energetic when it comes to capturing Pokémon." He said.

"That's true." ash and Alain agreed.

The gang saw the building that is the entry to the Safari Zone, they were just about to enter it when... They heard some noises.

"Remind me again where we are here?" A male voice asked, sounds annoyed.

"Come on, you've been cooped up in that building for days! You need some fresh air!" Another male voice answered, highly active.

"In Kanto."

"Volkner don't be a spoil sport."

"I'm not Flint, I'm stating the truth. You dragged me away from Sinnoh to Kanto." 'Volkner' sighs.

"Ohh, come on." 'Flint' wined.

The gang saw two teens around sixteen, one with an afro red hair and spiky blonde hair.

"Their..." ash said.

Flint saw the gang and smiled brightly at them, "Yo! Are you all here for the Safari Zone?"

Brock nodded, "We are."

"Great. I'm Flint and this is Volkner. Nice to meet all of ya."

Volkner nodded towards the gang in greeting.

ash nodded back, "Nice to meet you too. I'm ash and this is pikachu or Light."

Light raised a paw, "Pika."

"Heya, I'm Takato the little brother of ash-nee." Takato grinned and waved, "This is Zack."

Zack barked.(he catched it the way)

"Hi, I'm Mairin and this is my brother Alain." Mairin introduced, herself and brother, "Oh and this my partner Chespie."

"Chespin." Chespie waved.

Alain nodded.

"I'm Brock."

"So what is two famous people from Sinnoh doing here in Kanto?" ash asked, curiously.

Flint winced, "You recognise us?" He questioned.

ash raised a questioning eyebrow, "Yes, after all your both famous of being the youngest Elites trainer in Sinnoh."

Mairin blinked twice, "What?"

"Flint is a member of Sinnoh Elite Four and Volkner is the Sunnyshore Gym Leader, who is the strongest gym leader in Sinnoh." Alain explained.

Takato got starry eyes, "So Coolll!" He said.

Brock nodded, "I knew I recognises those names from somewhere." He said.

"Oh man, we were hoping that you don't." Flint groaned.

ash gave a small smile, "Don't worry about it. Your still you and I'm gonna treat the as an equal, if you don't mind."

"Don't mind, of course not!" Flint grinned, "Finally!"

Mairin sweat dropped, "He kinda acts like an older version of you Takato."

Takato grinned, "I know! Isn't it awesome!" He beamed.

"Oh boy." Mairin face palm herself.

"Back to the question at hand. What are you two doing here in Kanto?" Brock asked, getting everything on track.

Flint grinned, "I figure out that my pal Volkner here needs something new and fresh air away from the all the technology." He explained, "Safari Zone is a great place."

Alain raised an eyebrow, "I'm sure that Sinnoh as a Safari Zone too."

"They do but... Flint the hyper idiot didn't want to go to the same place over and over again, even if it's our Region location, it's boring according to him." Volkner explained, annoyed.

Brock chuckled, "I can see that."

"Are we going to go in?" Mairin asked.

"Yeah." Alain said.

As the gang plus two Sinnoh trainers entered the building, ash went to the counter.

ash twitched, when she came face to face with a gun in her face.

"ashley ! / ash-Nee-chan!" Everyone expect ash shouted, in disbelief and fear.

"Who are you brats?!" A old man demanded to know.

Takato and Mairin immediately hid behind Alain.

'Why me?' ash thought, groaning.

"Oi! First, put the gun away." Flint said, "Seconded, were all here to enter the Safari Zone."

ash silently gave a signal to Light, who use her tail and hit the gun away from her face.

The old man was shocked.

"Who are you?" ash asked, completely ignoring that the gun was pointed at her.

The old man tched, "I'm Kaiser and I'm the Warden of the Safari Zone." He answered.

"Imagine if it was Officer Jenny who he pointed that gun at." Takato said, silently.

Kaiser paled, he would be in so much trouble.

Volkner grunted, it would be amusing.

"Okay, next time don't do that." ash glared. "Some people might take personally and fight back."

"True. Can we please get the things we need to enter the Safari Zone." Brock said.

Kaiser grunted and gathered a box that was fill with green Pokéballs and a fishing rod.

"Boy ash , you sure are brave." Flint deadpanned.

ash blinked and looked at Flint I'm question, "Huh?"

"You were face to face with a gun and you completely acted normal."

"Oh no, I wasn't. I was annoyed." ash smiled.

Flint sweat dropped.

"Here." Kaiser said, sliding the box over.

"Alright." Takato and Mairin beamed, they couldn't wait.

Volkner and Alain was looking at the pictures that was hanged on the wall, one picture caught their interest; it was a man and a Dratini with a scar on its horn, in a shape of an X.

"A Dratini." Volkner said.

"Looks quiet old." Alain added.

"Kaiser, Kaiser... Where did I hear that name?' ash thought, thinking.

"Reminds me of ash Dratini." Brock said.

"What, you have a Dratini?" Volkner asked, surprised, after all Dratini's are rare Pokémon.

"Yes." ash replied.

A gun was pointed at ash once again, by Kaiser, "Where did you get the Dratini?!" He demanded to know.

Flint groaned, "Ugh, again with the gun!"

ash frowned, "I got Dratini from the St. Anne ship, she was one of the prizes." She said.

Kaiser frowned but nodded, he walked away not before taking the picture with him.

"He seems so defensive about Dratini." Mairin said.

"He must have his reason for it." Takato said.

Kaiser stared at the photograph of him and Dratini, 'Dratini... You won't be disturbed ever again.' He thought, looking up.

"Ah, I remember now." ash snapped her fingers, "Professor Oak told me about him before. Thirty years ago, the one who discovered the Legendary Dratini was Kaiser himself."

"Oh." Alain said.

"But then trainers who heard the rumours of it started to intrude the Safari Zone and got every Pokémon they could find." ash continued.

"That can't be good." Volkner said.

ash nodded, "It isn't, the Safari Zone became a complete wreck was the result of the trainers who were all higher eager to find the Dratini. After that the rule was established, trainers are only allowed to use thirty Pokéballs."

"Oh man, did anyone find it?" Brock asked.

"No, not one trainer found or capture the Dratini."

Unknown to the group Team Rocket was ears dropping them.

"Did you heard, a Dratini is somewhere in this Safari Zone?" Jessie said, smirking.

James smirked as well, "Of course."

"This is a manager scope. If we get this Legendary Pokémon, there'll be coins for all." Meowth said.

"Well said, but I won't be satisfied with that alone." Jessie stood up, she pointed towards the Safari Zone field, "We'll taking all the Pokémon here in this Safari Zone."

James and Meowth nodded, "Thats brilliant idea Jessie!" They praised.

Jessie flipped her hair, "Of course."

The group stood in front of the wooden gates as they opened.

"Once you use all the Safari Balls, you must ready here immediately." Kaiser said.

"Okay." The group expect Volkner and Alain said.

They entered the Safari Zone, Kaiser closed the gate as they left.

"So what now?" Mairin asked, everyone.

"We'll split up and search and capture." ash said.

"But first we'll split the Safari Balls. There are thirty in here and two Super Rod." Brock said.

"I'll take one Safari Ball. I'm not really interested in catching a Pokémon here, but you'll never know." Volkner said.

"Same here." Flint said.

"Okay then. Twenty-eight is left. I'll take five." Brock said.

"I'll take two." Alain said.

"Me... I'll get four." Takato said. "Including a Super Rod."

"Oh, I'll take four as well, but I'll share with Takato, the Super Rod." Mairin thought out.

"Thats means, ashley  takes the rest." Flint said.

ash sweat dropped, "Wait a second, don't I get a say?" She questioned them.

Brock gave ash a deadpanned look, "Knowing you ash , you'll catch some interesting and unbelievable Pokémon here." He states bluntly.

"Oi!"

"How much luck does she have?" Flint asked, amused.

"A lot." The gang expect ash deadpanned.

"Wow."

Volkner looked at ash , interested.

ash pouted and unamused by this turn of event.

Light patted her partners head in comfort, "Pika Pika. (Here here.)"

"Let's go and meet back at the entrance once we capture what we get." ash took off with the remaining Safari Balls and a Super Rod into the bush.

"See ya." Takato and Mairin said, going towards a river.

Brock and Alain walked off into their direction.

"So Volkner, where too." Flint asked his friend.

Volkner shrugged and walked off, "Anywhere. Your on your own though." He added.

"Oi!" Flint sulked. "Why is everyone leaving me alone??~~" He anime cried.

From ash and Light area, they continued to walked and looked around seeing nothing interesting so far.

Light spotted something in the tall grass, "Pikapi Pikachu. (Look ash .)" She pointed.

ash eyed the area where her partner was pointed a small black Pokémon and gasped, "No way, its a Zorua." She whispered.

Zorua was looking around the area, curiously like it was exploring.

ash pulled out a Safari Ball and quietly, she move in closer and than she quickly tossed the Pokéball.

"Rarf!?" Zorua blinked as a Safari Ball hit it and it was sucked inside, it was caught.

"Pikachu. (Nice one.)" Light praised.

"Thanks buddy. Let's see what else." ash said, as she picked up the Safari Ball.

As they both continued, ash caught herself a Taruos and female Silcoon, which was odd for one to be here.

ash also caught her mother, a female Chimecho; who flew towards her, a Persian and her kit; Meowth together and finally while fishing in the lake; a male Horsea.

'Wonder how the others are doing?' ash thought, as she place the Safari Ball away.

"Yes!" Takato beamed, as the Taruos was caught and so far he was happy as he caught a Nidorino and male Psyduck.

Zack barked, happily.

"Alright." Mairin said, she pulled the fishing rod up and out came a Goldeen. She now caught Nidorina and female Seel, that's all.

"Chespin Ches." Chespie smiled.

"You caught something?" Takato asked, as he walked back.

"Yeah, a Seel." Mairin smiled.

"Woah. Amazing catch." Takato said.

Mairin nodded, "Why thank you and now let's go back."

Both kids walked back to the entrance of the Zone.

"And thats it." Alain sighs, "How strange for a Kirlia and Eevee to be here." He walked of searching for the others now.

✿ ---- ⇒ [Break Scene] ⇐ ---- ✿

"Sweet, I finally caught a Chansey and I got two." Brock smiled. "These two will definitely love my family. Now just three more Pokémon."

Brock continued his search and was able to catch; a Marowak and her child Cubone and a Taruos of his own.

"OH COME ON!" Flint shouted, "GET BACK HERE!" He chased after a Pokémon that was running away and soon he fell into a lake, "OH MAN!"

✿ ---- ⇒ [Break Scene] ⇐ ---- ✿

With Team Rocket, they caught the Warden and was negotiating him about the location of the Dratini.

"I won't tell you!" Kaiser growled out.

"Oh ho." Jessie smirked.

"That's fine, will force you to tell us." James smirked. "Meowth."

Meowth pulled out a controller and pushed the button, a robot appeared.

Kaiser gritted his teeth, "What?"

Meowth smirked, "This." He pushed the button and the robot moved forward capturing Kaiser and started to tickle him.

Kaiser laughed hard for a minute for so, "Hahahahaha hahaha hahah ahah... Okay, hahaha I'll haha I'll tell you! Stop!" He gave up. "Please stop!"

Volkner ran his hand through his hair, "I need a fishing rod." He said, looking at the lake in front of him.

"Volkner?"

Volkner turned around seeing the indigo-Black hair girl, "ashley ."

"Did you catch anything?"

the Sunnyshore Gym Leader shook his head, "No, I haven't found any Pokémon that I'm interested in getting."

ash nodded, "Hmm, oh here." She handed him the Super Rod. "I don't need it anymore and it seems you need it."

"Thanks." Volkner took it and started to fish.

"Pikachu." Light said, lazing on top of her head.

As a minute has passed, the float was pulled down.

"Um..." Volkner pulled the rod carefully.

"ashley ." Another voice said.

ash turned around, seeing the oldest Sycamore heading their way, "Hey, Alain. Your in time to see what Volkner has caught."

Alain nodded and stood beside ash

Volkner pulled the fishing rod hard and out came a Lanturn.

"Lanturn!" It said, confused.

ash pulled out her Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon.

[Lanturn, the Light Pokémon. The light that emits from its tentacle-like limb shines bright enough to illuminate the bottom of a deep sea.]

"I'm not going to ask about that Lanturn." ash said, placing her Pokédex away, different Region Pokémon was appearing here and there.

'I don't have a Lanturn yet, also it's part Electric, perfect.' Volkner thought and so he decide and toss the Safari Ball, capturing it.

"Oh no!" Kaiser groaned, as he got up from the floor, he knew something bad was going to happen. "I need help." He ran off to where the kids was.

✿ ---- ⇒ [Break Scene] ⇐ ---- ✿

The group met back at the entrance of the Zone.

"How was it?" Brock asked.

"Great!" Both Kids beamed.

Flint sulked, "I got nothing~~" He anime cried.

ash sweat dropped, "I caught myself some great Pokémon as well." She replied.

"Same here." Alain replies.

"I got myself a Lanturn." Volkner said.

"Why~~" Flint groaned, "Everyone caught something they want but not me..." He wined.

Everyone including the Pokémon sweat dropped.

Volkner rolled his eyes at his friend attitude.

"... lp!"

The Pokémon's ears twitched.

"... Elp!"

"Pika." Light tilted her head and stood on ash 's head to get a better look.

"... Light?" ash questioned her Pokémon.

Zack sniffed the air and smelt someone familiar running this way.

"HELP!"

The group turned to the direction where Kaiser was running towards them.

"Mr. Kaiser!" Mairin yelped.

Kaiser stopped and took a deep breath, "I need your help!" He said blurred out.

"Huh?"

"What's wrong?" Takato asked.

"Its Team Rocket, they here in the Safari Zone and what's worst they plan on blowing up a area here for the Dratini." Kaiser explained.

"Blowing it up!" The group expect for Volkner and Alain, who eyes widen in shock.

ash frowned, "Why? Argh, you know what! Who cares! Let's go." She said, frustrated.

"ash 's right. Mr. Kaiser can you show us where they are?" Alain asked.

Kaiser nodded, "The Valley of Dragons. Follow me." He took of in the direction he came from.

The group followed behind him.

Team Rocket was a the area known as The Valley of Dragons, where the Dratini currently lives.

They smirked.

"So, this is where the Dratini lives." Jessie said, looking at the lake.

"Yes, the old man was stubborn but in the end, he gave up." James said.

"But thanks to this baby, we are here at the lake." Meowth said, holding a gadget that looks a dynamite. "This is a Team Rocket's Special Underwater Stun Bomb."

Both Jessie and James blinked.

"The name is the key." James said.

"What does it do actually?" Jessie asked.

Meowth smirked, "Easy, when this electric bomb goes off in the water, it would electrocute all the living Pokémon in the lake and bring them to the surface." He explained, not wiping the smirk off this face.

James and Jessie beamed, "Ohhh."

"Then once the entire Pokémon as surface, we'll nab them all." Jessie said.

"Excellent gadget Meowth." James praised.

"Thank you." Meowth said, proudly.

Meowth was about to toss the bomb into the lake...

"HOLD IT!" A voice shouted out.

"Twerps!" James said.

"Don't even think about that!" ash shouted.

They heard what the bomb goes and its not pretty.

Meowth just smirked, "Too late twerps." He tossed the bomb into the lake.

The groups looked in horror and shocked.

"If that explodes, all the Pokémon in the lake will..." Kaiser didn't want to finish his words and he immediately jumped into the lake.

"Kaiser won't last in there." Alain pointed out.

"Exactly. You guys deal with Team Rocket, I'll go in." ash immediately took off her  jacket and she drove in.

Before anyone's could stop the indigo-black haired girl, she already drove in.

"Where does she get her courage and confidence from." Mairin questioned herself.

Takato let out a laugh.

Light searched through her trainers bag, she held out two Pokéballs, "Pikapi!" She called out.

"Lotic~" ash 's white Milotic appeared, "Lo~"

"Squirtle!" Squirtle raised a hand.

Flint and Volkner was shocked seeing white Milotic.

Flint eyes widen in shocked, "Unbelievable, its a rare unique white Pokémon." He said.

"First time seeing one." Volkner said, "For the both of us."

"Nice work Light." Alain praised.

"Uh huh, milotic, Squirtle. ashley is in the water, help her." Brock said.

Both Water-Type Pokémon nodded and drove in.

In the lake, Kaiser continued to swim down looking for the bomb.

"Where is the bomb? I have to hurry up and go for a breath soon." Kaiser said, searching.

"Lotic! (ash!)" Milotic called out.

ash looked behind her seeing her two Water-Type Pokémon, "milotic. Squirtle." She said.

ash grabbed onto milotic, as she ordered Squirtle to take Kaiser back to the surface, seeing how he is at his limit.

Squirtle nodded, "Squirtle!" He saluted and swam to Kaiser and took back to the surface.

The group was shocked, seeing Kaiser back with Squirtle.

"Where's ash ?" Volkner asked.

"She's still down there looking for the bomb." Kaiser answered.

"What?!" Takato shouted.

"EH?!!" Mairin exclaimed.

"Don't worry. ashley will be alright." Alain assured them.

ash continued to swim, she spotted the bomb and jested towards it for milotic to speed up faster, she grabbed the bomb and immediately swam back up.

"Come on." ash thought, she saw the time, 1:35 countdown.

"Milotic..." milotic notice another presence in the lake.

"Umm..." ash saw a long shadowy figure and her eyes widen, she almost lost her air but keep calm, "That's."

On land the sky turned into a blackish-grey and started to rain, heavily.

"Eh, the weather just changed..." James commented, confused looked at the sky.

"To pouring rain." Jessie finished and looking at the sky like James.

Thunder and lightning started to appear with the heavy rain and the wave in the lake started to act rough.

"The lake." Flint said, shocked.

In the lake a huge whirlpool appeared and then as the whirlpool was spinning a bright light tunnel appeared from the centre.

"Meowth, what's going on?" Meowth asked.

A two serpent-like shadow silhouette was swimming upwards the light tower.

Kaiser gasped, "T-That's..."

"Nee-chan..." Takato smiled.

As the light died down, a Dragonair and Milotic was revealed in the sky, sparkling and the storm started to vanish.

[Just imagine ash on milotic like that and Dragonair is beside them.]

"Pikapi!" Light smiled.

"The Legendary Pokémon." Kaiser smiled.

"Dragonair." Volkner said.

Alain took out his Pokédex and scanned the Pokémon.

[Dragonair, the Dragon Pokémon. The evolved form of Dratini. This Legendary Pokémon can freely make rain or snow fall at its will. It can even fly without wings.]

ash coughed, trying to gain some air, 'Good thing milotic mastered how to Levitate in air.' She thought. "Hey Team Rocket!"

Team Rocket looked up.

"I'm returning this back to its owner!" ash tossed the bomb towards Team Rocket, as it was still ticking.

Jessie caught it, blinking and then paled.

0:00 BOOM! BLAST!

"This is bad!" Team Rocket was blasted off, "TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!"

milotic floated down and landed in the lake, "Loo~~"

ash landed on land, she sighs, "So close."

Alain and Volkner couldn't help back stare at ash who was only in her black singlet. They aren't perverts, its just that they couldn't help it, it's ash .

[ Don't know how to explain that part.]

Flint and Brock notice the stared and tried there best not to say anything.

"Nee-chan!" Takato jumped hugging his sister tightly.

"I'm fine." ash said, she recalled back milotic and Squirtle, thanking them for their help.

When Dragonair and Kaiser came face to face, Kaiser recognised the scar on Dragonair horn, it was the same that Dratini he met years ago.

"It's you..." Kaiser struttered, "I knew it, you're the Dratini from back then."

Dragonair nodded and move it, for a hug.

Kaiser cried, "You've grown up splendidly." He said.

Dragonair cried as well.

Dratini swam towards them.

[ KYAAA! KAWAIII~~]

Kaiser looked at Dratini and realised, "Oh, this Dratini is your child." He smiled.

Dragonair nodded and introduced them.

The group watched the happy reunion between long time friends.

"That's great." Brock said.

Mairin and Flint had tears in their eyes, "So, s-so touching." They said.

ash nodded and pulled back on her jacket, luckily her clothes didn't get much wet from that short moment storm.

Takato rolled his eyes at them, but smiled.

The group watched as the lovely touching scene continued.

Back at Kaiser's lodge, the gang sent all their Pokémon back to their preserves place.

"We won't tell anyone that we met Dragonair and Dratini, that's just spelling trouble for the Safari Zone again." ash said.

Professor Oak nodded, #"Indeed. Also I'll send the Pokémon you've caught for your aunt."#

"Thanks." ash said.

#Your welcome and see you later.# Professor Oak smiled.

"Bye." The gang said, before the screen went black.

"Well, we should head back." Volkner announced to everyone.

"Yeah, Volkner here can't leave his gym unattended for too long." Flint said.

"You've both got challenger waiting?" Alain asked.

Flint nodded, "Yeah. Also if we meet again, I want a challenge Alain." He declared.

"Huh?"

"You've got a Mega Stone." Flint pointed towards the Key Stone. "I haven't battle against a Trainer with a Mega Stone yet, so you'll be my first." He grinned.

Alain nodded and smiled, "I'll accept the challenge, next time we meet." Most people have ignored the bracelet Key Stone and he might get a great challenge from an Elite.

Flint grinned even more, "Sweet, can't wait for it."

Both Elites walked off.

Volkner waved off, "Bye."

ash smiled, "See ya." She waved. "Take care!"

"Catch cha later!" Flint waved.

"See ya later Flint, Volkner! Also it's nice meeting you!" Takato shouted, waving.

"Hope to see you again!" Mairin shouted.

All the Pokémon called out.

Brock and Alain waved them goodbye.

"Sooo, Volkner what do you think of ashley ?" Flint asked, with a grin, as they were headed to the port.

Volkner looked at his best friend, "What?"

"Oh, come on, Brock and I saw the way you and Alain kid looked at her. You've never shown any interest of dating or getting a girlfriend and here I thought you were gay."

The Sunnyshore Gym Leader glared at his friend, "Seriously. Just because I don't date doesn't mean I'm gay Flint and if you've forgotten most girls her age are only interested in our looks and ranks, they don't take being a Pokémon trainer seriously." He pointed out with a blunt statement.

The Fire Elite Trainer winces, "Thats true but."

"ashley  is different." Volkner let out a small smile, "She's different to other girls her age. I just met her and I kind of feel attached already."

"How old is she, thirteen?"

"No, she's ten. She started her journey this year, not to long ago. Another thing, I'm too old for her." Volkner sighs, ran his hand through his hair.

"Wha- Man, talk about a growth, than again Takato is a bit tall for his age." Flint mumbles, then looked at his best friend, "Volkner your sixteen, six years apart, dude it's not that far. Alain kid is fourteen and is your competition, he likes ash as well."

"They are travelling together." The Gym Leader stated.

"He has more opportunities." The Fire Elite added.

Volkner grunted.
