THE BRIDGE BIKE GANG

With fond memories of the Safari Zone and meeting two new friends fresh in their minds, or heroes continued on their journey find themselves resting in the Pokémon Centre.

ash has phone her mother, keeping her updated on her travels.

cynthia was delighted to have some more Pokémon company

ash was happy that everything was alright,

The gang was relaxing themselves in the lounge of the Pokémon Centre.

"Excuse me, if you would spare some time, would you mind helping me out please?" Nurse Joy asked the gang.

"Huh?" The gang said.

"What's wrong Nurse Joy?" ash asked.

Nurse Joy face turned into a sorrowful one, "I'm worried for the Pokémon in Sunny Town just over the bridge who is very sick." She explained.

"Sick Pokémon." Mairin said.

"Yes." Nurse Joy walked to the front desk and show the gang a medicine bag, "I need someone to deliver this medicine to the Pokémon Centre in Sunny Town... Normally I'll deliver it myself but..."

"Today, your too busy to leave the sick Pokémon here in the Pokémon Centre." Alain said.

Nurse Joy nodded, "Correct."

"We don't mind but, we don't have a bicycles to cross the bridge." ash stated, the problem.

"That's right." Brock said.

The problem was that the only way to Sunny Town was by the bridges; the first bridge, which was used for cars to cross and the second bridge, which was available but only for bicycles and finally the last bridge, which was still under construction was for walking.

"No problem, we could lend you our own bicycles." Nurse Joy smiled, "There in the Parking Lot Area."

Mairin jumped up and down, "Alright, we get to cross the bridge." She cheered.

"Thank you Nurse Joy, we'll take this medicine and deliver it to the Pokémon Centre in Sunny Town." ash said, taking the medicine, placing it into her bag.

"Thank you." Nurse Joy smiled.

"Come on big brother~ Go fast~" Mairin wined, she rode on the back.

"Mairin, if we go to fast we might hurt ourselves and I'm not risking that." Alain scolded his little sister, as they were on a dark blue bike.

Takato laughed, "This is great!" He shouted.

"There kids what you expect." Brock commented, riding a grey colour bike.

"You got that right." ash agreed, "And no Yuuki don't even think about it." She warned her little brother, sitting on the backseat of a purple bike.

Takato pouted in response.

"Pikapi!" Light said, enjoying the breeze as she sat in the basket of the bike.

"Ya right buddy?"

"Pika!" Light nodded.

As the gang was riding on the bike track, they were being watched by Team Rocket who are currently on a small float boat on the ocean waters, with James paddling and Jessie and Meowth are watching the gang though the binoculars.

"Their riding on the bike path across the bridge." Meowth said.

"Ha, we got them right, were we want them." Jessie said.

Meowth removed the binoculars away from his eyes and looked at Jessie, "You think we got a chance this time?"

James continued to paddle, "Well, it's not like this is new to us, you know." He replies.

Jessie place a hand on the side of her face and she had a smile on her face with eyes close, "Well Meowth, you could almost call it our hometown, isn't that right James?"

James smiled, "So, we'll have the home team advantage." He answered.

"Oh, I see." Meowth smiled.

Enjoying the bike ride, the gang soon arrived at a resting spot and they brought drinks to refresh themselves.

ash, Alain and Brock each had a bottle of Fresh Water, while Takato and Mairin had a bottle of Passion Fruit juice and Light had a cup of Passion Fruit herself.

"This is a great exercise, don't you think?" ash asked.

"Yeah and at the way we are going at, we'll be in Sunny Town in no time at all." Brock replied.

"We lucked out with the bikes." Alain said.

"That's good." Mairin said.

"Ah~" Takato said, feeling the cold juice down his throat, "Needed that."

Light took gulps, "Chaaa~~"

After resting for a couple more minutes, it was time to continue on the road.

"Let's go." Alain said.

Everyone tossed their empty bottles and cup into the bin.

They were about to move, when they heard some noises and music? Heading their way.

"Huh." ash said, looking towards the road, where the noises were.

"YAHOOO!"

"KICK IT UP!"

"What in the world?" Brock said.

"YEAH!!"

"WAHOOO!"

"A flag with a symbol on it." Takato said, seeing one person holding up a flag.

"Uh oh, its a Bicycle Gang." Brock said.

Mairin sweat dropped, unbelievable, "A-a Bicycle Gang?" She questioned, nervously and stepped behind her brother.

"This is trouble, we should get out of here." Brock said.

"Too late." Alain said.

The bicycle gang had surrounded them.

A biker with spiky red hair and a bit of yellow in front, pulled of his black sunglasses off, "Umm, I don't think I've seen you've before sweetheart."

Alain twitched.

ash wanted to retort back but held it, "Were not from around here." She ignored the 'sweetheart' word.

"Figures. I'm Chopper the Leader of the Bike Gang." The bike introduced. "Also your not going to cross this bridge without a proper introduction."

"Huh... Right."

"Well, I'm Brock and that's ashley and her little brother Takato, Alain and his little sister Mairin." Brock pointed to each of his friends, "Seeing as we introduced ourselves, may we leave now?"

Chopper let out a chuckle, "Afraid not."

"What?" Takato said.

A female biker with long green hair and blue eyes, folded her arms, "When we say introduction, we mean a Pokémon Battle." She explained.

"A Pokémon Battle." ash said.

"Nee-chan, we don't have time." Takato whispered.

"Were on a tight schedule here." Brock whispered, stating.

"I know as much as you all know, they won't let us go without a battle." ashwhispered back.

"I'll battle you." Alain announced.

Chopper laughed, "Fine by me."

"Eh?" Mairin said.

The biker gang and gang were on either sides of the field.

Chopper and Alain stood on their sides, ready to battle.

"Hmph, you think you could play with the big boys." Chopper chuckled, holding up a Pokéball, "I'll send you home crying."

Alain ignore that comment.

"Golem go!" Chopper released, a boulder rock turtle-like Pokémon to the field.

ash scanned the Pokemon.

[Golem, the Megaton Pokémon. The evolved form of Graveler. Once a year it sheds its bedrock shell and grows larger.]

"Gyarados." Alain called out his shiny atrocious Pokémon.

"GRRR!" The Shiny Gyarados roared, appearing on the field.

The biker gang looked at the atrocious Pokémon in fear and took a step back.

ash sweat dropped, "Wahh, overkill."

"Pika Pika Pikachu! (Go go Gyarados!)" Light cheered.

Brock sweat dropped, "Wow."

"Go Alain! Beat him!" Takato cheered on.

"Yeah! Take them down!" Mairin shouted.

Chopper and Golem both gulped in fear.

Alain stood here with his arms crossed, "You first." He offered.

Chopper shook his head, "Golem use Gyro Ball!" He ordered.

"Golem!" It spun around really fast and it became like a metal ball spinning with a glow in the centre of it and it move towards Gyarados.

Gyarados was hit.

"Alright!" The bike gang cheered, then gasped, "Wha?!"

"Grr..." Gyarados looked uneffected by the attack and looked at the spinning Gyro Ball and slam it with his tail.

"GOLEM!" It cried out in pain.

"Golem!" Chopper cried out.

"Hydro Pump." Alain ordered, simply.

Gyarados blasted the megaton Pokémon with a burst of water stream, hitting it directly.

Golem automatically fainted from the attack.

"Oh no, Golem return." Chopper hung his head down and recalled back his fallen Pokémon.

"Good work on taking that Gyro Ball directly." Alain praised, "Your getting stronger everyday."

The atrocious Pokémon gave a eye smile before returning back to his Pokéball.

"This is pathetic, I'll take it from here." The female biker stepped forward, "I'm Tyra and I'm your next opponent."

"What? Excuse me, but were in a hurry and beside you said that if one of us beat you, we get to leave." ash said.

Tyra looked at ash, "I'll battle you little girl, unless your afraid to lose." She smirked.

"You know, your friend Chopper said the same thing and he ended up losing to Alain, in one attack." ash deadpanned.

Tyra growled at the response, "Are you battling or not?!"

"A female anger." Brock said, with a nervous smile.

"Okay." ash said, 'I have to end this quickly.' She thought, 'We have a sick

Pokémon waiting for its medicine.'

The next battle was underway, with Tyra against ash.

"I choose you Cloyster. Crash this wimp!" Tyra released a giant oyster-like Pokémon.

"Cloyster." It said, with its shell still closed.

ash scanned the Pokémon with her Pokédex.

[Cloyster, the Bivalve Pokémon. The evolved form of Shellder. It's shell is incredibly strong and resistant to a bomb. Its shell only opens when it attacks.]

Yuna place her Pokédex away, "Only opens when it attacks, huh." She tossed a Pokéball onto the field, "Donar."

"Jolteon." ash's Electric-type Eeveelution appeared, ready to battle.

"You may have the advantage but... I will win!" Tyra said determined, "Cloyster, Toxic Spikes!"

Cloyster fired poisonous spikes from its shell, heading towards the electric Eeveelution type.

"Donar, dodge it and use Thunder." ash countered.

Donar dodge it with his speed and than appeared in front of Cloyster as its shell was slightly opened, he launched a Thunder attack at it.

"Cloyster?!" Cloyster panicked, as the electric attack struck it, "CCCLLLOOYYSSSTTEERRRR!!" It cried out in pain.

Tyra gasped, she couldn't believe it, "Cloyster no!" She shouted out.

"Cloyster..." It fainted.

"Two wins." Mairin said.

"Sweet!" Takato said.

The bike gang was angered with their defeats and was about to gang up on them, when everyone heard sirens.

"Looks like the next town wants to rumble." Chopper said.

They thought it was the police but it's wasn't, it was...

Team Rocket and they were unicycles with a siren machine and they said their mottos.

Team Rocket stopped in front of the bike gang.

"Tyra, it's been a while." Jessie said.

"Big Jess." Tyra said, with huge adoring fan eyes.

"Your, looking good Chopper." James said.

"Little Jym." Chopper said, having the same face as Tyra.

"What's this about?" Brock asked.

Jessie and James both chuckled.

"Well, we had quite the reputation here back in the old days." Jessie answered.

"You were Trainer Jessie. Big Jess was really cool, swinging her chain around while riding her bicycle." Tyra explained.

"And then there were Trainer James. Little Jym was the only one in the bike gang, who had to use training wheels." Chopper explained.

"Well, I suppose we were really crazy back then." Jessie said.

"Well, guess our secret past, isn't a secret anymore." James added.

The group sweat dropped, unbelievable what they just heard.

"You know I kind of wish, it would remain a secret." ash said.

"Hmm mm." The group agreed.

Team Rocket had a plan and involved the bike gang, they want them to help deal with ash and the others.

"We need your all help to take care of these little pests, who are always ruining our plans." Jessie eyed the group.

"We'll do anything for Jess and Jym." Chopper declared.

"Uh oh." Mairin said.

"Then capture all their Pokémon's." Meowth ordered.

Alain and ash was about to call out Gyarados and Gengar when... They heard sirens once again but this time it was the real police.

✿ ---- ⇒ [Break Scene] ⇐ ---- ✿

"Hey, who's causing trouble on this bike path?" Officer Jenny, demanded as she rode her motorcycle.

Police cars were driving behind and beside the female officer.

✿ ---- ⇒ [Break Scene] ⇐ ---- ✿

The bike gang was scared.

"The cops! Let's split!" Chopper ordered.

All the bike gang member, immediately ran to their bikes and rode away quickly.

Team Rocket left as well, not wanting to get caught by the police.

The group sighs in relief.

"Nice timing." Takato said, to no one in particular.

✿ ---- ⇒ [Break Scene] ⇐ ---- ✿

"So your all just trying to deliver Pokémon medicine to the Pokémon Centre in Sunny Town?" Officer Jenny asked, making sure she got everything right.

"That's right." ash nodded.

"You need to get there, so I'll give you an escort." Officer Jenny offered, then her radio rang, she picked it up and listen, "I see." She place the radio away, "I'm sorry, there's been accident, I have to go."

"It's okay Officer Jenny." Brock said.

"Yeah, we'll be fine." Mairin said.

Officer Jenny nodded, "Be careful." She said and rode off.

"We should get moving now and fast." Alain said.

"Right." The group nodded and rode off.

As the gang was pedalling, dark clouds began to roll in and hard winds blew.

ash looked at the sky, "Oh man." She said.

"Pikapi Pikachu. (A storm is about to start.)" Light warned.

"This is bad." Takato eyed the clouds.

"Wah!" Mairin yelped, as the wind blew hard, she grabbed onto her brothers waist, trying not to fall.

Soon, rain began to fall.

"Achoo!" Takato sneezed and shivered, "Its cold."

The gang stopped for a second to quickly pulled out their raincoats and ash made sure Light is secured, before moving again.

Team Rocket was watching the gang from inside a house, but soon they were outside in the rain, cycling.

✿ ---- ⇒ [Break Scene] ⇐ ---- ✿

At Sunny Town Pokémon Centre, Nurse Joy was talking on the phone.

"The medicine still hasn't arrived." Nurse Joy said.

"But they should be there by this time." Nurse Joy replied.

"Maybe they won't get thought the storm." Nurse Joy turned around, seeing a Shellder in a water tank that looks really sick.

✿ ---- ⇒ [Break Scene] ⇐ ---- ✿

The rain soon started to turn into a storm with much stronger winds blowing dangerously.

Mairin and Takato, tightly but not too much pressure hugged their older siblings

ash looked ahead and saw the bridge and gasped, the drawbridge lifting up. "Guys! There's a drawbridge!" She shouted.

Brock spotted a ship, "Maybe that ship is trying to take shelter in the bay." He suggested.

"What are we going to do?" Mairin asked.

"We have to wait it out."

"No way. Whatever Pokémon is waiting for this medicine might not make it." ash retorted, immediately. "Let's keep going."

✿ ---- ⇒ [Break Scene] ⇐ ---- ✿

On the other side, Team Rocket was preparing to jump the drawbridge and so they started pedalling and they pedalled faster up the bridge and jumped it.

"Hang on!" Alain shouted.

The two kids grabbed on tightly.

They jumped the drawbridge and notice that they weren't going to make it.

"Pikachu. (Team Rocket.)" Light said, surprise as she held onto the basket tightly.

ash saw Team Rocket as well and smiled, "We'll bounce." She said, she used Jessie head.

Alain used James head and Brock used Meowth head.

As the gang landed on the other side, while Team Rocket fell down into the ocean.

"Alright!" ash cheered, "We made it!"

Takato held his hand to his heart, "I think I lost my heart back there." He said.

"Your not the only one." Mairin said.

Alain chuckled, "Let's keep going."

"Right."

"Or maybe not." ash grumbled, seeing the bike gang in front of them.

'3, 2, 1' Alain and Brock mentally counted down.

"MOVE IT!" ash shouted, not stopping. "I'm not in the mood to deal with you all, there is a sick Pokémon waiting for us in Sunny Town that needs the medicine!"

"What?" Chopper said, shocked.

"You mean that's why your out in the storm?" Tyra asked, in disbelief.

"That's right." Brock said.

"Unbelievable. That's real biker for ya." Chopper said, close to tears and turned around to his gang, "Listen up guys, were going to take them there in style."

"YEAH!"

"Let's go!"

"Yes!"

The bike gang agreed.

"Huh?" ash blinked.

The bike gang started to surround the group with Chopper and Tyra in front.

"Wow." Takato said.

As the storm began to clear,

the bike gang has surround the group.

"Don't worry about it, we'll clear the way for ya." Chopper said.

✿ ---- ⇒ [Break Scene] ⇐ ---- ✿

Inside the Pokémon Centre, Nurse Joy of Sunny Town was waiting, worried. She looked at the Shellder who was breathing heavily than before.

"Oh no, I hope they make it soon." Nurse Joy pleaded, "Otherwise this poor Shellder might not make it."

✿ ---- ⇒ [Break Scene] ⇐ ---- ✿

In front of the Pokémon Centre, ash immediately stopped the bike, her brother got off and she immediately ran inside, where Nurse Joy was waiting, "Nurse Joy, the medicine." She said, holding out a bag of medicine.

Nurse Joy smiled and took the bag, "Thank you and now this little one, will be just fine." She said.

Nurse Joy poured the medicine into the tank and as the medicine hit the Shellder, it blinked then eyed smiled happily.

"Alright!" Takato said.

"Good thing we made in time." Brock said.

Nurse Joy thanked them one more time and than went to phone her sister, to tell her to good news.

The bike gang was inside the Pokémon Centre, thinking of names for them all.

"You know your a great guy." Chopper complimented to the oldest Sycamore.

"Huh." Alain said.

"Yep, from now on your known as Almighty Alain."

Alain sweat dropped at the name, but didn't say anything.

"Magnificent Mairin." Tyra said.

Mairin gave a nervous smile, "Magnificent. Me?" She questioned herself.

"Terrific Takato." Chopper declared.

Takato sweat dropped, he was 'terrific'?

"Brilliant Brock." Chopper said.

"I'm Brilliant." Brock pointed to himself with a sweat drop.

Tyra looked at ash who was confused, "amazing  ashley." She decided.

ash thought about it nervously

Alain chuckled a bit and wrapped his arms around ash from behind, making her blush, "It's fine, He said. "And it's suits you."

ash pouted more, "I guess." She sighs.

Brock snorted mentally, he knows Volkner has taken a liking to ash as well and Flint was trying to get him to confiscate along with Alain, hell he knows that Alain has been talking to Volkner in private times and free time for the Sunnyshore Gym Leader.

Takato grinned and was thinking when they are going and yes he knows about Volkner crush as well, he's more devilish than anyone think.

Mairin was thinking about a new sister-in-law already. Oi, isn't she thinking too far ahead with that.

The bike gang all agreed with the names and cheered.

And so our brave heroes finally save the sick Pokémon and made it through the storm in Sunny Town, the bike gang has some new heroes and everyone is happy.
