THE INDIGO LEAGUE, LAST ROUND BATTLES! STARTS...

Last time, ash has defeated and won all her four field battles and moving onto the next round.

At night, group were now sat at a restaurant on the top floor of a multi-storey building.

cynthia borrowing their kitchen to cook the meal.

The chefs watched in awe as the cynthia whizzed around the kitchen seemingly doing three things at once, it was like she is an expert

"Our customers do not come here to cook." The head chef said in a confused tone.

"Well, maybe they should try it." cynthai responded, cheerful as ever. "ashley, Takato, dinner is almost ready!"

ash and Takato looked at each other and laughed, "Okay!" They response.

Soon they were all sat around the table with several dishes of incredible food in front of them.

"Well, how does it look?" cynthai asked, smiling.

"It looks great!" The two kids cheered in unison.

The three teens cheered in unison while the Pokémon added their own gleeful opinions.

"These croquettes are excellent as always." Brock complimented.

"These are so good. Nobody cooks like you do." Takato said to his mother.

"You know, if you win your next battle you'll be allowed to use up to six Pokémon per match." Professor Oak explained to ash, "Have you decided which Pokémon you'll choose?"

ash looked up from her food, "Not really. But I have an idea for what Pokémon I'm going to use." She said.

Same night, they meet a trainer named Ritchie who also had a Pikachu named Sparky. They gang became great friends with him and chatted up with him, happily.

It was the next morning and ash was about to find out who she would be fighting in the next round.

The gang arrived the reception where ash met Ritchie again who had already been given a battle but no opponent.

All ash had to do was fish a Magikarp out of a small tank and the letters and numbers on its side would tell her who she will be battling against.

ash used a small fishing rod and quickly hooked something and she pulled it up out of the water it was a Magikarp with 'A-3' painted on its side.

"'A-3' That means your next opponent is going to be..." The assistant lady pointed to a screen which pulled ash's picture back and put it next to another, her opponent in the next round was Ritchie.

Everyone froze in shock at this development but soon the two trainers soon overcame it and walked up to each other.

"Well ashley, as we're friends let's promise to make this battle the best that we've ever had." Ritchie said.

"Deal, see you on the battlefield then." ash said.

ash and Ritchie shook hands as acceptance.

"Ladies and gentlemen we will have our fifth round battle! On the green side we a trainer from Pallet Town, ashley Mew Ketchum."

The crowd cheered loudly, remembering all her battles.

"And on the red side, we have Ritchie Hiroshi from Frodomar City!"

The crowd cheered.

"Let's the battle begin!"

"I choose Happy!" Ritchie sent out the Kanto butterfly Pokémon.

"Freee!" Happy appeared.

"Then I'll go with Beautifly!" ash sent out the Hoenn butterfly Pokémon.

"Beaut Beautifly." Beautifly said.

"Everyone! For a update, that Pokémon is a Beautifly from the Hoenn Region, it's a Bug and Flying-type Pokémon." The announcer interrupts and explained. "It's a battle between two Bug and Flying-type, who will win?"

"Happy use Supersonic!" Ritchie ordered, first.

"Dodge and use Silver Wind!" ash countered.

Happy sent a wave of Supersonic towards the Hoenn butterfly Pokémon who dodges it by flying up high and fast, she swoop down and her wings glowed, she released silvery glittering wind towards the Kanto butterfly Pokémon.

"Happy! Use Safeguard quickly!" Ritchie shouted out.

"Freeee!" Happy brought up a green shield, protecting itself from the Silver Wind attack.

ash narrowed her eyes, "Aerial Ace once that Safeguard is down." She said.

"Beaut." Beautifly nodded.

The Hoenn Region butterfly Pokémon saw the shield was down and quickly flew down, she disappeared for a split second before reappearing, striking the Kanto Region butterfly Pokémon on the stomach with an Aerial Ace.

"Happy!" Ritchie called out, as he saw his Pokémon was attack. "Happy!"

Happy fell to the ground and collapsed, fainting.

The judge waited for a few seconds before deciding, "Butterfree is unable to battle!" He raised the green flag, "Beautifly is the winner!"

The crowd cheered.

"Happy, returned." Ritchie recalled his fallen butterfly Pokémon, "Zippo, go!" He sent out the flame Pokémon.

"Charmeleon!" Zippo said.

ash recalls Beautifly, "Lampent, I choose you." She sent out the lamp Pokémon.

"Lampent Lamp!" He said, excitedly to battle.

"What?" Ritchie was confused by the unknown Pokémon.

"I'll be making another update. Lampent is a Pokémon from Unova Region! A Ghost and Fire-type Pokémon."

"A Ghost and Fire-type huh... Zippo, Flamethrower!" Ritchie commanded.

"Shadow Ball." ash countered.

Zippo fired a Flamethrower at Lampent who countered with a Shadow Ball and both attacks collide against each other.

"Zippo use Dragon Rage!" Ritchie said.

"Dodge it and use Will-O-Wisp." ash said, "But use Psychic to control them."

Zippo launched a Dragon Rage at the lamp Pokémon who flew up dodging the attack and then summon small purplish flames and then it had a blue outline, he threw them at the flame Pokémon.

"Close them in and strike." ash added.

"Lamp Lampent!" Lampent control the Will-O-Wisp attacks and made the wisp closing in.

"Oh no. Zippo use Rock Tomb to destroy them all!" Ritchie ordered.

"Charmeleon!" Zippo stomped its foot on the ground, summon rocks from the ground, destroying the Will-O-Wisp, each wisp created a small smoke around the flame Pokémon.

"Now Lampent! Night Shade!" Yuna shouted out.

Lampent appeared beside the flame Pokémon who was surprise by his appearance and then fired a Night Shade from his eyes, hitting Zippo directly into the Rock Tombs.

"Charrr!" Zippo cried out as it hit the ground and fainted.

"Charmeleon is unable to battle!" The judge raised the green flag, "Lampent takes the round!"

"Wow and that Lampent used to be the little Litwick that ash nee chan adopted from the Chandelier couple." Mairin commented.

Brock chuckled, "What do you expect. Kids do grown up fast." He said.

"Very fast." cynthai agreed.

"Go! Way to go Lampent!" Takato cheered.

"Sparky, your last." Ritchie sent out his electric mouse Pokémon.

"Pikapi!" Sparky said.

ash looked at the Pokémon and smiled, "Yule, your up." She sent out her Alolan Sandshrew.

"Sandshrew!" Yule said.

"A white Sandshrew?" Ritchie questioned.

"Pika?" Sparky wondered as well.

"Ahem! Another, if you all all wondering why that Sandshrew is white, that Sandshrew is not a shiny or rare, it's known as an Alolan Form Sandshrew from the Alola Region. Unlike the Sandshrew we see, they are Ground-types but the Alolan Sandshrew are an Ice-type Pokémon."

The crowed awe at the Pokémon form.

Ritchie groaned, "Oh man... Sparky this is going to be a problem."

"Pikapi." Sparky nodded, agreeing.

"Shrew! Sandshrew!" Yule said, excitedly.

"Yule, go play." ash ordered, simply.

Yule rolled up into a roll and started to roll towards the electric mouse Pokémon.

"Pika!" Sparky exclaimed, as he moved out of the way. "Pika!" Again.

"Sparky, use Iron Tail!" Ritchie commanded.

"Pika!" Sparky tail turned metallic colour and went to strike the ground mouse Pokémon.

"Haze." Yule unrolled himself and turned the field into a deep mist.

"Pi?" Sparky stopped his attack as the deep mist started to appear.

"Oh dear, I can't see anything." cynthai frowned, she was taking pictures of the battles.

"It's Haze. ashley is using it to her advantage." Alain had a small smile.

• • • •

"Sparky, stay focus! We can't see anything in this mist!" Ritchie warned.

"Pika!" Sparky nodded.

"Maybe we can, Sparky use Hidden Power and aim it everywhere!" Sparky summoned lots white energy orbs and sent them everywhere.

"Yule, Earthquake." ash voice was heard.

Yule stomped his feet and the ground shakes from the attack.

"Piiiikkaa!" Sparky cried out as the effective move hit.

"Now use Metal Claw!" Yule charged in were he heard the cry, his claw turned into metallic colour as he charged in further.

"Sparky, Iron Tail!" Ritchie countered.

Sparky tail turned into a metallic colour and struck the Metal Claw that was close with his tail.

"Sandshrew." Yule said and then he headbutt the electric mouse with an Iron Head attack.

"Pika!" Sparky cried out in pain as he was sent back from the Iron Head attack.

The Haze started to clear.

"Take down with Gyro Ball Yule!" ash ordered, quickly before the opponent could recover.

"Sandshrew!" Yule curled up into a ball and spun fast with a white metallic colour in the centre, he spun towards the unexpected Pokémon.

Ritchie saw the Pokémon charging in fast, "Sparky, dodge it quick!" He panicked.

But it was too late, Yule Gyro Ball attack hit Sparky directly, making the electric mouse Pokémon cry out in pain as he flew backwards onto the ground and knocked out.

"Pikachu is out!" The judge raised the green flag, "The winner of this round is ashley Mew Ketchum with Sandshrew!"

The crowd cheered loudly.

"And there you go ladies and gentlemen! ashley Mew Ketchum will be moving onto the next round!"

The crowd cheered loudly.

Ritchie was upset he has lost but he was glad that he and his Pokémon was able to reach this far, he is in the Top 16.

That night, Ritchie was at the Pokémon Centre getting his Pokémon a recovered with ash who is getting her Pokemon a check up.

"Hey, congratulations on winning ashley." Ritchie said to the oldest Ketchum.

ash smiled, "Thanks."

"You both did great." Professor Oak said, "You should be proud Ritchie."

Ritchie scratch the back of his head, "Thanks, coming from the a famous Professor means a lot." He said.

"Welcome ladies and gentlemen to our first match and it's a 6-on-6 Pokémon Battle!" The announcer announced, "The rules are different in this 6-on-6 battle! First, trainers are allowed to change or substitute Pokémon during the battle or at the end of the battle! Second, trainers can recall their Pokémon if they are asleep, paralysis or poison! Third, if a Pokémon has fainted or unconscious, it's a lost!"

[I changed the rules a bit for the last rounds of the Battle.]

The crowd cheered.

Ritchie was sitting with Alain, Takato, Mairin, Brock, cynthai and Professor Oak with Sparky on his lap.

"So the rules are different for a 6-on-6 battle? Good thing." Brock said.

Light is on Alain's lap with Eevee, who wanted to watch.

"It's starting." Mairin and Takato said, excitedly.

"Pika!" Light and Sparky said.

"Eevui!" Eevee said, excitedly.

"Now it's time to introduce our two competitors who made it this far!"

The crowd cheered even louder.

"First of we have on the red side, Aria Ford from Celadon City, this young trainer has made quiet a reputation of herself as a power and poison battler."

The crowd cheered.

Aria appeared on the field, she was a year older than ash, she has slight past shoulder length pink hair and green eyes. She wore a long sleeve black shirt with dark pink shorts and brown boots.

"Anything on this Aria girl?" Ritchie asked.

Brock found the information he was looking for in booklet, "Here it is. Aria Ford a trainer who uses Ground and Poison-types Pokémon. Most opponents Pokémon are taken out quickly because of a one move or they are poison." He read out.

"ashley better be careful in this match." Professor Oak said, "Poison-types are not easy to deal with because of the effect of a move."

"Next we have... From the green side, our first time entering the Pokémon League and she has made it this far, ashley Mew Ketchum from Pallet Town!"

ash appeared on the green side.

"And as you all know, ashley hasn't lost a single Pokémon throughout the league yet."

"I'll change that." Aria smirked.

"We'll see." ash said back.

"Let the battle begin!"

The crowd cheered.

"Rhyhorn, go!" Aria sent out her first Pokémon which was the drill Pokémon.

"Rhy!" Rhyhorn appeared, ready.

"Rhyhorn... Then, I'll go with Yoru." ash sent out her midnight Lycanroc form.

"Arowll!" Yoru howled as he appeared on the field.

Everyone wondered why that Lycanroc was different, from the previously one they saw.

"Ahem! Ladies and gentlemen, I'll be interrupting the battle because in this match ashley will be using Pokémon from other region other than Kanto." The announcer explained, "Now, the Pokémon on ash's side of the field is a Lycanroc, it's not like the previous Lycanroc she used before. This Lycanroc is a Midnight Form and from the Alola Region, a Rock-type Pokémon."

"No matter, I'll win this round!" Aria said, arrogantly. "Rhyhorn use Horn Drill!"

ash shook her head, "Yoru, blind it with Sand Attack and then strike it down with Brick Break." She ordered.

Rhyhorn charged in with its Horn Drill ready to start the wolf Pokémon but the wolf Pokémon used Sand Attack blinding Rhyhorn and stopping the drill Pokémon in it's tracks and it jumped, he moved his arm up and slammed it down onto the Rhyhorn head directly with a super effective move.

Rhyhorn roared out in pain before collapsing with swirling eyes.

The judge looked at the Pokémon closely, "Rhyhorn is unable to battle!" The judge raised the green flag, "Lycanroc takes the first match!"

Aria growled and returned her fallen Pokémon, "Go! Tentacruel!" She sent the jellyfish Pokémon.

"Yoru, are you still up for it?" ash asked her Pokémon.

Yoru nodded, "Arf!" He wants to battle still.

"Alright."

"Big mistake! Tentacruel use Hydro Pump!" Aria shouted out.

"Use Protect, then Rock Tomb and Thunder Punch!" ash countered.

Tentacruel launched a Hydro Pump attack at the wolf Pokémon who brought up a green orb shield, defending himself from the Water-type attack.

"ARROWLLLL!" Yoru howled and tombs of rocks came out of the ground, surround the jellyfish Pokémon. He ran across the field and jumped on each Rock Tomb and then his fist was coated with electricity and he punched the Tentacruel directly.

"Tentacruel!" It cried out in pain.

"Don't give in! Use Poison Jab while his close!" Aria commanded.

"Ten-Tentacruel!" The jellyfish tentacles had poison on them and he tried, keyword tried to stab the wolf Pokémon but the Pokémon avoided it all.

Yoru moved away from it and landed back on his trainers side.

Aria eyes narrowed, "Use Water Pulse!" She shouted out.

"Yoru, create a quake." ash said.

Yoru tail glowed a metallic colour, he jumped, he spun and then slammed the Iron Tail on the field, causing cracks towards the the jellyfish Pokémon and Tentacruel lost control of the Water Pulse.

"Smart, causing the ground to shake made the Tentacruel lose focus on the Water Pulse." Ritchie said. "But how did Lycanroc know what attack to use?"

"Code words." Alain said, simply.

"Code words?"

"All of ash's Pokémon knows Code words, it's easier and unpredictable to the opponents. When ash says, 'Turn up the heat' it means use a random Fire-type. 'Freeze the field', its literally freezing the ground." Alain explained, further.

Ritchie nodded, "I remember one of her first match how ash said that, her Vaporeon frozen the Water Field." He remembered.

"Exactly."

"Man." Ritchie whistled impress.

"Now, Get close and Zen Headbutt!" Yoru howled and then he increased his speed with Agility, he disappeared from the sight and then reappearing near the jellyfish Pokémon and slammed his head into the Tentacruel head with Zen Headbutt.

"CRUEELLL!" It cried out pain from the super effective attack and then collapsed from the attacks and pain.

"No!" Aria screamed out.

"Tentacruel is unable to battle!" The judge raised the green flag, "The winner is Lycanroc!"

Aria recalled her fallen Tentacruel, "Venomoth, come on out!" She sent out the poison moth Pokémon.

"Moth!" Venomoth said as it appeared.

"Yoru, return." ash recalled her midnight Lycanroc back, "Ninetales, go!" She sent out the Kanto fox Pokémon.

"Ninetales~~" Ninetales tails swished behind her as she appeared.

Aria scowled, knowing the disadvantage of her Pokémon, "Use Poison Powder!"

"Defend and then Sunny Day." ash said.

Venomoth flew over and released a purple powder around Ninetales who immediately set Fire Spin around itself, protecting the fox Pokémon from the poisonous attack.

"Nine~" Ninetales launched a bright orb into the sky and the sky became even brighter, boosting up Fire-types moves.

"Turn up the heat!" Ninetales immediately use Heat Wave making Venomoth weak from the Fire-type attack and slowly the poison moth started to lower itself and then her body was covered in flames, she attacked the poison moth Pokémon down.

Venomoth was out with swirling eyes, exhausted from the two Fire-type attacks.

Ninetales Flame Charge dies down, she shook herself as she looks at the opponents Pokémon.

"Venomoth is unable to battle!" The judge raised the green flag, "Ninetales wins!"

"That was so cool! I want a Ninetales of my own but I was never able to get one." Flint said. "Vulpix are difficult to get, even if its one from the Breeding Centre."

"You could. I heard that Leon and Ninetales are together, so if they breed. The Pokemon Egg might be one." Volkner said.

"You think she wouldn't mind me getting it?"

"I don't think she even mind, though you have to wait for a couple of days bet actually getting the Pokémon."

Flint nodded, the parents would've want to spent time with their children before they leave. "Thought a Luxray as a father with high level power and a Ninetales as a mother is a power house." He said.

"Nidoqueen!" Aria sent out the drill Pokémon at battle.

"Nido!" Nidoqueen appeared.

"Use Surf!" Aria ordered, she wants to take down one of her opponents Pokémon at least.

"Evaporate that Surf!" ash commanded.

The crowd eyes widen when they heard that commanded.

Ninetales body started to build up power within herself, her body temperature is raising.

Nidoqueen summoned water waves, as she rode the wave that is heading towards the fox Pokémon.

"Ninnneeee!" Ninetales released Overheat attack at the Surf, the heat was evaporating the water into stream.

Nidoqueen fell down and she was hit with an Overheat still, sending her crashing down into the ground.

The crowd jaw dropped, at the unbelievable attack and it worked.

"Unbelievable! Ninetales has evaporated the Surf with a powerful fire attack, Overheat and Sunny Day is still in effect! Can you believe it folks?! Because I sure can't!"

"Volkner, yours and Alain girlfriend is really scary." Flint said, dead serious tone.

Volkner snorted at his best friend comment, "She's not. She's just unpredictable and her uncle and cousin agrees, that's what makes her dangerous." He said.

"Still~" Flint whined. "All her Pokémon are power house." He shivered at the thought of a small Vulpix with an overpower Flamethrower. Yep, definitely scary!

"How is that possible?!" Aria shouted.

Ninetales appeared on top of the female drill Pokémon and her eyes glowed, she released a Hypnosis attack, making Nidoqueen fall asleep.

Aria was frustrated by that attack and was about to recalled Nidoqueen back, when...

"Hit it!" ash shouted out.

Ninetales uses Extrasensory, directly at the asleep Pokémon and the drill Pokémon eyes turned to swirls, meaning she has fainted.

"Nidoqueen is unable to battle!" The judge raised the green flag, "Ninetales takes the match!"

"Is that even possible?" Ritchie asked, bewildered what he had witness.

"Don't know." Brock said.

"Oh dear, my daughter sure is full of surprises." cynthia looked at the photo shot she has taken of Ninetales evaporating the Surf with an Overheat attack, "A lovely shot too~"

"Using Overheat to evaporate the Surf attack." Professor Oak chuckled, "ashley and her Pokémon never fails to surprise me."

"Why are you so calm about this?" Mairin asked her brother and than gasped, "I forget that your Charizard can do that as well."

Ritchie and Brock turned to the oldest Sycamore immediately, "You too?!"

"Yes. Charizard needed a way to deal with Water-types and so we use high level Fire-types attack to evaporate the waters to stream." Alain gave a small smirk, "It's kind of amusing to see the opponents shock face, when they realize what has happened."

Takato nodded, "It's very helpful." He added.

"Of course."

"Now Aria is down to her last two Pokémon! Can she make a comeback with the last two?"

Aria recalled her fainted Pokémon, "How is that possible?!" She said.

ash recalled her fox Pokémon, "It's very for me but if you train them right, anything is possible." She held another Pokéball.

Aria gritted her teeth, "Vileplume!" She sent out the flower Pokémon.

"Vileplume..." It said.

"Korin, it's your turn." ash sent out her small electric mouse Pokémon.

"Chu!" Korin said, as her scarf was on.

"A small mouse." Aria deadpanned, "Your sending out a tiny electric mouse against a Grass and Poison-type Pokémon." She said.

"Pikapi Pikachu. (That little girl better watch her mouth.)" Light glared at the pink hair trainer.

"Pi!" Sparky yelped and hide behind his trainer arm.

Ritchie looked at his partner confused, "Sparky?"

"Chespin... (Scary...)" Chespie muttered.

Raichu looked up and he felt the trainer on the t.v insulted his adopted daughter. "Raichu... (That brat...)" He glared at the t.v.

Flint yelped as he felt electricity coming from Raichu, "Raichu! What in Arceus name?!" He exclaimed.

"That girl Ford must've insulted Korin." Volkner said.

Raichu glared when the scene changed to the pink hair trainer, with a smug smile.

"Geeze..." Flint muttered, "Parents instinct are scary."

ash and Korin looked unimpressed at that comment made.

"Your point." ash said, with a blank stare.

"My point is that your going to lose!" Aria stated.

"You said that before and I defeat four of your Pokémon with only two Pokémon." ash stated.

"You'll see! Use Razor Leaf!" Aria shouted, she got angry at that.

"Korin use Electric Terrain." ash said.

"Pikachu!" Korin dodge the leaves and then fired electricity, turning the field into an Electric-type boost up, the field was glowing yellow because of the attack.

"What this? It's seems that ashley has boosted up Pikachu's electric attacks with Electric Terrian. Let's see how turns out."

ash had a smirk on her face, "Korin, let them see your Thunder."

"PIIIIKKKAAACHUUUUUU!!" Korin launched a Thunder attack, that caused the ground to crack from the high voltage attack.

Aira and Vileplume eyes widen in shock as the Thunder attack, hit before the trainer could gave a command directly.

Vileplume screamed out in pain as the electric attack hits its marks and its fainted with swirling eyes.

"Vileplume is unable to battle!" The judge raised the green flag, "Pikachu wins the match!" Even he couldn't believe the power of that Pikachu.

The crowd gaped flabbergasted by the attack and damage of the attack, some couldn't help and feel sorry for the last Pokémon going to battle against the electric mouse Pokémon.

"Unbelievable! Did you see the power of the Thunder attack?! It literally cracked the ground!"

Ritchie jaw dropped, "Now that's power..."

"Pi, Pikachu Pikapi Pikachu. (Yeah, you show them your power Korin!)" Light cheered.

"Pikachu. (Unbelievable.)" Sparky muttered.

Brock shivered, "Yep, having two elite level Pokémon train their adopted daughter is dangerous." He muttered.

"Raichu, your daughter is strong." Flint said, flatly.

"Rai Rai. (I know.)" Raichu nodded. That trainer deserved it.

"It's scary."

Raichu gave a devilish smile at Flint, who shivered.

Volkner shook his head.

Aria couldn't believe that she is down to her last Pokémon and now she isn't sure that she could take that Pikachu on.

After all the results was obvious because ash has all Pokémon and three unknown Pokémon still, while Aria is down to one Pokémon.

"Folks, Aria is down to her last Pokémon, while ashley still has all yours and three unknown Pokémon. Could this be it?"

Aria clenched her last Pokéball, "Go, Ivysaur." She sent out the Seed Pokémon.

"Ivysaur..." It said.

The field glowed yellow still, Electric Terrian is still in affect.

"Ivysaur use Vine Whip to grab the mouse!" Aria ordered.

"Ivysaur!" Ivysaur sent vines towards the electric mouse Pokémon.

"Volt Tackle." Korin jumped dodging the vines and she charged in towards the Seed Pokémon with a Volt Tackle, "Pikapikapikapikapika Pika Pi!" She ran across the field and she boosted up her speed with Quick Attack added.

"Quick use- No!" Aria couldn't tell an ordered in time.

Korin tackled Ivysaur directly, sent the seed Pokémon flying away and crashing onto the ground.

"... Ivy-Ivysaur..." It fainted from the one attack.

"Ivysaur is unable to battle!" The judge raised the green flag, "The victory goes to ashley Mew Ketchum and Pikachu!"

The crowed cheered.

"And there it is! Another stunning victory of ashley and her Pokémon has made! She will now move onto the next round!"

The crowd erupted into loud cheers.

Takato jumped from his seat, "YOU SHOWED HER NEE-CHAN!" He shouted.

"ARF!" Zack barked, as his tail wagged happily.

"WOHOOOO!" Pallet Town people cheered, "SHE MADE IT! ASHLEY DID IT!"

People were cheering loudly and doing a little happy dance.

ash blinked, "Strange I felt like that people in Pallet Town are dancing...? Oh well?" She muttered, confused.

"Chu!" Korin jumped onto ash's shoulder, "Pikapi Chu? (Did I do good?)" She asked.

ash chuckled, "Yes, you did little one." She patted the Pikachu's head.

"Chaa!" Korin cooed at the touch.

"Another round done and now onto the next!" Flint said.

"Helio?" Helioptile questioned as his head popped out.

Volkner rubbed his Pokémon head, a gift he receive from ash on her birthday when she went to the Alola Region with Alain, "ashley has made it to the next round." He said.

Helioptile became Volkner's fifth Pokémon and has been training with his other Pokémon. He has also had Helioptile taken some Gym battles against his opponents and so far it has been good. Helioptile was shy to new Pokémon and people he doesn't know, but when it's battling he is a different Pokémon.

"Helioptile!" Helioptile smiled and nodded.

"One round down and three rounds left." ash muttered as she exited the field to meet with the others.
