TANGELO ISLAND; THE LOST LAPRAS

Last time our heroes arrived at Valencia Island to receive a mysterious Pokéball for Professor Oak, after getting the GS Ball from Professor Ivy.

Brock decided to stay back with Professor Ivy and her assistants, to learn more about Pokémon. And the gang said their goodbyes and parted way to Tangelo Island.

Upon arriving at Tangelo Island, the gang was at the beach, relaxing for a while.

"Wow." Mairin awed.

"What do we do first?" Takato asked.

"Found the Pokémon Centre, sign up for the Orange League and than found out a way to travel." ash answered

"We could have our Water-type Pokémon Surf on the water. Or we could Fly Island to Island." Alain suggested.

"That's true." ash nodded.

"LAPPP!" A Pokémon cried out was heard.

The Pokemon ears twitched at the noise.

"Pi?"

"Arf?"

"Che?"

"LAAAAPPP!"

All three Pokémon ran to the cry of the Pokémon.

"Chespie!"

"Zachary!"

"Lightning!"

The gang ran after their Pokémon and then they saw what the Pokémon heard and they were really mad.

Three male trainers who are dressed up like thugs were all beating up a Lapras with a wooden stick.

"Hey!" Takato shouted out.

"What do you think your doing to the Pokémon?!" ash shouted. "Leave that Lapras alone."

"Lapp..." Lapras opened its eyes and saw four trainers who are defending it.

"Who ask your opinion sweetheart." The first Trainer with red open shirt said.

Alain eyes narrowed, glaring.

"Yeah. This is none of your business." The second Trainer said with purple shirt and white hat.

"We don't need any brats like you telling us what to do to our Pokémon." The third Trainer with orange shirt said.

"Why are you even hitting that Lapras?" Mairin asked.

"If you must know. We are getting ready to battle against the Orange Crew." The second Trainer said. "So get lost!"

"I can't believe that you three losers are Pokémon Trainers." Takato insulted them.

"What was that you little punk?!" The three trainers glared at Takato.

Takato ignored them, he has seen worse glares.

ash twitched, "Elena, use Psychic to get them away from Lapras." She sent out the embrace Pokémon.

"Understood." Elena appeared and used Psychic on the three trainers and then sent them into the ocean.

Mairin stuck her tongue out at them, "Bleh! You three jerks deserves it." She said.

"Poor child." Elena looked at the injured Pokémon.

"Heal Pulse." ash said.

Elena started to heal Lapras.

"Lappp..." Lapras closes it eyes, feeling the Heal Pulse healing some of its injures.

Alain looked at the three trainers in the water who are swimming back, "I highly doubt that the Orange League will like trainers like you either." He said.

The three trainer heard what Alain said and got mad.

"This punk and sweetheart wants to fight." The third Trainer said, angrily.

"Then we'll give them one." The first trainer growled. "Go!" He sent out his Spearow.

"Go!" The other two trainer sent out Hitmonchan and Beedrill.

"Spearow!" The tiny bird screeched out.

"Monchan!" The punching Pokémon said.

"Beee!" The poison bee Pokémon said.

"Spearow, lets show them what a real Pokémon Battle looks like." The first Trainer said.

"Beedrill, lets get buzzing." The second Trainer said.

"Let's knock them out, Hitmonchan." The third Trainer said.

Elena ignored them and continued to heal the young Lapras.

Alain was about to called out his Gyarados when...

"Raichu, Thunder them all." A familiar voice ordered.

"Raiiichuuuuu!"

A Thunder struck all three Pokémon and trainers making them all scream out in pain. "WWAAHH AHAAHHHHHHHH!"

"Huh?" Mairin and Takato blinked.

"Pika?" Light ears twitched.

"..." ash watched.

Alain smirked.

The Thunder stopped and showed three people and three Pokémon all crisped up, the three trainers picked up their Pokémon and ran away in fear.

"Good job Raichu." A same voice praised.

"Rai Rai!"

The gang turned around seeing Volkner Denzi with Raichu beside him and Helioptile on his shoulder.

Volkner also wore a slightly different outfit they were used to see, he wore a long sleeve black shirt, with black pants, a pair of black socks with dark yellow and black sneaker. He had a thigh length blue hoodie coat unzipped with thick yellow stripes on the sides and pockets, he has his usual chains on his hip with a blue waist pouch like Alain's, his necklace is inside his shirt but you can see the silver chain still.

"Volkner!" ash beamed and hugged her other boyfriend.

Volkner smiled and returned the hugged, "Good to see you." He said, not before giving a quick kiss on her lips, before they let go.

"!" ash blushed.

"Hiya Volkner." Takato and Mairin greeted, happily.

Alain greeted with a nod.

"Hello." Volkner greeted back.

The Pokémon greeted each other, happily.

"Mistress." Elena called out.

The gang and Volkner turned around, seeing the Lapras who was a bit better than before.

ash walked carefully towards them, "Ah, good to see you a bit better than before. Those three jerks were hitting you with a stick earlier." She said, from safe distance.

Lapras nodded, it didn't trust humans yet even if these human help it from the three bullies.

"Listen I need to take you to the Pokémon Centre to get you fully healed up." ash explained to the travel Pokémon. "Elena, use Teleport."

"Understood." Elena spoke to Lapras and it nodded, understanding, she used Teleport on Lapras and disappeared to the Pokémon Centre.

Mairin blinked, "Where did they go?" She asked.

ash walked back, "Pokémon Centre. Elena teleported Lapras there first." She replied.

"Let's go." Takato said.

The gang headed to the Pokémon Centre.

When they arrived they saw Nurse Joy is with Chansey beside her and to the side where a pool was, a Lapras.

"Mistress." Elena walked towards her trainer.

"Are Gardevoir and Lapras, yours?" Nurse Joy asked.

"Elena is but not the Lapras that was brought here as well." ash replied. "I told Elena to use Teleport to get Lapras treated first."

Nurse Joy nodded, "I see, your Gardevoir explained everything to me." She told them, "The baby Lapras is fine, I gave him the treatment already. Most of his injured were healed thanks too your Gardevoir's Heal Pulse."

The gang sighs in relief.

"But I'm afraid that the Lapras doesn't trust humans but perhaps you all he trust. Gardevoir had to explain to the Lapras that I'm not going to harm him." Nurse Joy explained.

"Not surprising after those three jerks were hitting Lapras with a stick." ash said.

Takato blinked, "Wait a minute! That's a baby Lapras?" He asked.

"He is. The size of the Lapras is different compared to the adult Lapras." Alain answered.

Takato nodded.

"But, what is a young Lapras doing here?" Mairin asked.

"I guess that this Lapras must've got separated from his pod. A big Lapras Pod past by the Island this time of the year and we had a big storm a few weeks ago." Nurse Joy explained.

"Poor Lapras." Mairin said.

"What shall we go about Lapras?" Takato asked.

"We need to get him back to the ocean that's for sure but we have to explain to him first." Volkner said.

"That reminds me. What are you doing here in the Orange Islands Volkner, not that I'm happy to see you. What about the gym?" ash questioned her other boyfriend.

"I left Flint in charge. You'll be surprise when Flint was the one that offered to look after it, of course after getting permission from the Pokémon League. He said that they're isn't going to be a challenge for a while since the Sinnoh League isn't starting up yet, so it's okay. Flint decided to have me on a vacation at the Orange Islands and be with you." Volkner explained the reason. "Don't worry I left three of my Pokémon and they all know Flint well enough to listen to him, but I'll rotate them around."

ash smiled and nodded, happily.

"Mistress the young Lapras wants to thank us." Elena spoke up.

ash looked outside were Lapras was and he was closer than before, "Don't worry about. Glad to help." She replied.

"Lapp Lapras Lapp. (I missed my mother.)"

"You got separated during that huge storm that happened not too long ago."

"Lapras Lapp Laaapp. (Yes, my mother was calling out to me but I was already far away and the storm push the pod away.)"

"Well, we have a situation to that."

Lapras face perked up, "Lap? (Really?)"

"First, you see I'll be travelling Island to Island so that I can compete in the Orange League. Second, you could travel with us and maybe one day during those travel we'll find your mother and pod." ash explains, "What do you say? Wanna travel with us?"

Lapras thought for a moment and nodded happily, "Lappp! (Of course!)" He flapped his flippers, about.

Suddenly a truck came out of nowhere as some bazookas flew over the Lapras and flung a big net, capturing the transport Pokémon.

"LAPPP!" Lapras cried out.

Everyone gasped.

"Where did that come from?!" Mairin exclaimed.

"HA HAHAHAHAHAHA!" A familiar laughter was heard and a familiar motto was heard also

"Team Rocket!" Takato exclaimed, "Why am I not surprise."

Team Rocket appeared and they had their eyes on the young Lapras.

"Ahahaha, this Lapras is going to make us rich." Meowth said.

Volkner looked at Team Rocket closely, this is the first time meeting or seeing this criminal organisation.

"Give Lapras back!" ash said.

Jessie laughed, "No can do twerpette." She declined.

"That's right, this Lapras is going to fetch quiet a price." James laughed.

"Helioptile use Razor Wind to cut the net." Volkner ordered.

"Helio." Helioptile nodded, he jumped off his trainer shoulder and released Razor Wind towards the net that captured Lapras, shredding it.

"AHHHH!" Team Rocket screamed out

Elena used Psychic to capture the young Lapras and place him back into the water carefully.

Lapras landed back in the water, "Lapp!" He smiled.

"Nice!" Takato smiled.

"Yay!" Mairin cheered.

"Nows your chance." Alain said.

"Light."

"Raichu."

"Thunderbolt them!"

Both ash and Volkner ordered their electric mouse Pokémon.

"PiiikaaaCHHUUUU!"

"RaiiiCCHHUUUU!"

BOOM! The truck exploded, sending Team Rocket flying away because they were on the truck.

"TEAM ROCKET IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!" They screamed out, as they flew off.

Alain sighs, "Guess, we'll be seeing them during this adventure." He said.

"Uh huh." Mairin and Takato nodded, agreeing.

Nurse Joy came out, seeing what happened, "Oh dear, is everyone alright?" She asked.

"Yeah, everyone is alright Nurse Joy." ash replied.

"Lapp!" Lapras swam up to them and smiled.

Nurse Joy sighs in relief, "Thats good." She smiled and saw the young Lapras, "Well it seems like the young Lapras trusts you all."

ash nodded, "I promise Lapras here that we'll search for his mother while traveling through the Orange Islands." She said.

"That's good."

"Lapras!" Lapras smiled.

Mairin and Takato didn't say anything because they got really curious of Lapras and when Lapras offered to let them ride on his back, they are all for it.

"Well Mairin and Takato seems to like him." Volkner commented, dryly, seeing the kids play around.

"Right, but I'll release him when we found his pod." ash said.

Nurse Joy nodded, "I see. Isn't that great Lapras?"

"Lap!" Lapras smiled.

ash smiled and pulled out a Pokéball, she held it towards the transport Pokémon.

Takato and Mairin got off Lapras.

"Lapras." Lapras tapped the Pokéball button with his head and he was sucked it, captured without a fuss.

After capturing Lapras and making a promise to him, helping him find his family. ash, Alain, Mairin, Takato and Volkner, they head off to ash and Alain's first Orange League challenge.
