MANDARIN ISLAND; ELITE FOUR PRIMA! ICE BATTLE!

The gang had come to an island called Mandarin Island and well let's just say it packing with trainers and battles.

"Tyrunt, Stone Edge." Alain said.

"Gaia, Ice Beam." ash said.

"Tyrunt Tyr!" Tyrunt summoned small sharp edge stones and toss them towards the Orange Island Butterfree pattern, it hit the Pokémon directly.

"Amaura...." Gaia fired an icy beam towards Scyther and it was a direct hit.

Both Pokémon collapsed on the ground with swirling eyes.

"Oh no!" Both opponents yelped and returned their Pokémon, leaving the area, fast.

"Way to go!" Takato and Mairin cheered.

ash and Alain returned back their Pokémon.

"Let's get something to eat." Volkner said.

The gang were now at a cafe, sitting outside, enjoying the breeze.

"Don't you found it strange that a lot of trainers are asking for battles?" Volkner asked.

ash blinked, "Actually I do."

"I can answer that." A female voice said.

They turn around and saw a familiar red-orange hair girl.

"Misty!" ash said, surprised.

"Misty!" Mairin grinned.

Misty, the Cerulean Gym Leader in the Kanto Region, friends to the gang, she smiled at them, "Hey you guys, it's been awhile hasn't it." She said.

"Togepriii~~" The spike ball Pokémon in Misty's arm trilled in happiness.

Misty wore her hair in her usual style but they notice a Key Stone tied around it, white short sleeves shirt with a blue jean tied shirt, strip shorts and brown shoes.

"It's has. The last time we saw you was a the Princess Day Festival." Alain said.

Takato, Zack and Chespie all grimaced at the remembrance of the Princess Day Festival. Volkner and Alain were both lucky to be with ash , who barely has sense in shopping.

"Torturing Flint with all the shopping bags, I swear to Arceus that I saw Flint actually flinching each time he sees a big sale sign and a bunch of girls screaming." Volkner responses, amused.

Flint paled each time he saw a big sale sign and a bunch of girls screaming and battling each other for the items. He ran so fast that Volkner thought he used a Pokémon attack; Extreme Speed.

Misty gave a slight frown, "It wasn't that bad." She defended her actions.

Takato, Zack and Chespie gave the Cerulean Gym Leader a look, that screamed, 'Are you serious!' They still remember all the males screaming and crying, also some were buried in bags.

"Raichu? (What it that bad?)" Raichu asked the Pokémon.

Light giggled within her paws, "Pikachu. Pikapi Pikachu Pi. (You have no idea. I thought I saw some male souls leaving their bodies.)" She smiled, amused.

Chespie paled, "Chespin Ches Ches. (I thought I was going to die because of the dozen of bags.)" He flailed his arms around.

Zack ears were folded and he wailed, "(I thought that my ears were going to go deaf that day.)" He groaned.

Both Zack and Chespie gave Raichu a look, "(You are soooo lucky that you reminded inside your Pokéball that day.)" They both said, with a dead serious expression.

Takato choked on his sandwich and bursted out laughing, "BWAHAHAHAHA!" He should've recorded that moment that day, even if he did suffer as well.

ash covered her laugh with a cough.

Raichu sweat dropped at them.

Misty sighs in defeat, "Okay, okay maybe it was." She took a seat beside Mairin and she place Togepi down with the Pokémon.

"Ahahahaha!" Mairin laughed.

"So Misty, you said something that you might know what's going on this island?" ash asked, getting back on track.

"Oh yes. Today is a big event. A Pokémon lecture and a battle demonstration is being hosted by the one and only Prima." Misty squealed at the end. "I'm a big fan of hers."

"Prima. Must be Lorelei Kanna, the Elite Four that specialise in Ice-Type." Volkner said.

"So the rumours about Lorelei Kanna having a house on the island and trains here, is true then." Misty continued, "Also once a week she shows off her different battling techniques. Today is the day I get to see Prima in person~" She has a blush across her face.

"Your a big fan of Prima aren't you?" Alain asked.

Misty eyed has stars in them, "I am! She is the very best and uses Water-type Pokémon as well. Prima is my idol and hero." She declared.

'Dual-type Pokémon, huh.' ash thought.

"I'm a hero am I?" A female voice said from behind Misty and Mairin.

ash , Volkner and Alain looked up and they were surprised, while Misty, Mairin and Takato turned around and they were shocked who it was.

It's was Lorelei Kanna, one of the Elite Four who specialises in Ice-Type Pokémon. She was a young beautiful woman, with long purple-red hair that was in a low ponytail, tied with a Pokéball hair tie and green eyes that was behind a pair of glasses, she wore red top with a dark blue business jacket, black skirt with black heels.

"P-p-Prima." Misty stuttered out.

"Oh wow, she's really pretty." Mairin said.

Prima or Lorelei smiled at Mairin, "Thank you."

"It-it's- uh- ah." The Cerulean Gym Leader had trouble speaking.

"Misty breath and calm down first, would really help you a lot." Takato deadpanned.

Misty did just that, "It's an honour to meet you Lorelei. My name is Misty Waterflower, I'm a Water Pokémon Trainer and the Gym Leader of Cerulean City." She introduce herself.

Lorelei smiled, "It's nice to meet you too." She greeted back and saw the others at the table, 'ashley Ketchum the winner of the Indigo League, Alain Sycamore the winner of the Kalos League and Volkner Denzi the Sunyshore Gym Leader, who's level is at an Elite. What an interesting group?' She thought and then looked out towards the ocean.

"Listen the wind is speaking..." Lorelei spoke up all the sudden.

"Ermm??" Misty and Mairin sweat dropped.

"Ha?" Takato sweat dropped.

"Pika?" Light blinked.

"The ocean is so beautiful, the gentle breeze blowing all around, like its speaking and you can feel the salty air. The clear blue sky and the sparkling ocean makes this spot the most beautiful place in the world." Lorelei spoke gently, about the nature.

"Well, she sure loves the nature." ash whispered.

"Seems like it." Alain said.

"Like Flint and his hot headed nature." Volkner said, dryly. He gets bugged by his best friend because of that.

ash giggled at that.

Lorelei than walked towards the table that ash, Alain and Volkner remind sitting, "I say, it's nice to meet you ashley Ketchum." She smiled, then turned to the males, "Alain Sycamore and Volkner Denzi."

"Nice to meet you too." ash said.

"Same here." Alain and Volkner chorused.

"I like a request, ashley, if you don't mind of course." Lorelei started.

ash raised an eyebrow, "A request, sure I don't mind. What is it?" She asked.

Volkner notice the look in Prima's eyes, he recognises that look he gets from Alain when he is expecting a worthy battle. "It's battle, isn't it?" He spoke.

Lorelei chuckled, "Why yes."

"Eh?!" Mairin, Misty and Takato gawked.

Even the Pokémon's were surprised.

The Kanto Princess was of course surprised and showed it, "Sure I don't mind, it would be an honour to go up against an Elite Four. But I must ask, why all the sudden request?" She asked, curious.

"To be honest, I wanted to battle against you ever since the Indigo League was over. Your a young prodigy, to train all your Pokémon to the level they are at now is truely astounding, including the ability to gave interesting commands to your Pokémon." Lorelei praised her skills, "If Lance's words are true then, I want to see for myself this unique unpredictable battle style of yours."

'Uncle Lance?' ash blinked.

"What did Uncle Lance say about nee-chan, exactly?" Takato muttered to himself, silently.

"Thank you for your words Lorelei." ash smiled and she got up from her seat, "Let's battle."

"One-on-One Pokémon battle, is that alright?" Lorelei asked.

"Of course."

ash and Lorelei headed towards a clear area, so they won't break or knock over anything while they battle.

Takato also grabbed hold of his sister PokéNav and recorded this battle, it's once in a life time battle against one of the Elite Four.

"Hey look!"

"Dear Arceus is that Prima?!"

"Yeah and it seems she is going to battle against someone."

"Really?!"

"This I gotta see!"

"One in a life time!"

"Who is she battling against?"

"Don't know."

They attracted people, trainers came to watch the battle.

"Well, it seems we have crowd now." Lorelei chuckled, slightly.

ash groaned, "Unfortunately." She said.

"Shall we?"

"Sure."

"Slowbro, I choose you." Lorelei sent out the hermit crab Pokémon.

"Slowbro Slow~" It appeared on the field.

"That's." Alain notice the Slowbro have a Mega Stone around its arm.

"Mega Stone. So Lorelei's Slowbro can Mega Evolve." Volkner said.

ash took a close look at Slowbro, "Slowbro huh? Very well then. This battle is yours." She sent out her Pokémon.

"Absol." The 'disaster' appeared.

Volkner raised an eyebrow when 'Säbel' appeared, but then he notice something was off with him and realise it was Absol at all, "Loki, huh?" He smiled, amused.

"Well, this is going to be interesting." Alain said.

"ashley better be careful." Misty said, "Slowbro is Prima's strongest Pokémon."

"An Absol. Very well then, Slowbro use Ice Beam." Lorelei started.

"Intercept that with Flamethrower." ash countered.

The hermit crab Pokémon fired an Ice Beam towards the 'disaster' Pokémon and 'Säbel' launched a Flamethrower at the Ice Beam, destroying it.

"Ability and Night Slash." 'Säbel' disappeared from his spot and reappeared in front of Slowbro and struck with his Night Slash attack.

"Slowbro!" It cried out in pain, slightly.

Lorelei was surprised, 'Fast!' She thought, "Slowbro use Earthquake."

"Aerial Ace." ash said, quickly, she didn't want to end the fun yet.

Before Earthquake hit the 'disaster' Pokémon, he hit the hermit Pokémon with an Aerial Ace and it was force backwards.

"Fire Blast, Slowbro!" The hermit crab Pokémon immediately fired a Fire Blast but the 'disaster' Pokémon was able to avoid it but jumping through it.

"Wow! Did you see how Absol avoided it?!"

"Yeah and it was definitely cool!"

"Incredible, also did you see how fast that Absol is?"

"Of course I did. It was really fast."

"I couldn't keep up with it."

Lorelei was impressed, 'Unpredictable indeed. ashley Mew Ketchum what a dangerous unpredictable trainer you are.' She thought with a chuckle, 'Kanto's Princess. A well given title.'

"Shadow Ball!" ash ordered.

'Säbel' fired three Shadow Ball towards the hermit crab Pokémon.

"Use Psychic to send those back!" Lorelei countered.

"Slowbro..." The hermit crab Pokémon eyes glowed blue and all three Shadow Ball has a blue outline around it and it was sent back towards the 'disaster' Pokémon.

"Sol." 'Säbel' dodge them, carefully.

"Hit it." Slowbro made them go faster.

"Sol. Absol." The 'disaster' Pokémon, dodge them, left and right, but, "Sol!" One hit him directly, making a dust cloud around him.

"Is Absol finished?"

"Don't think so. It's too easy than."

ash smirked, slightly, "Loki! Hone Claws and Night Slash!" She shouted out towards the dust.

Lorelei eyes widen, "What?"

A black figure quickly ran across the field and strike down with its claws, directly at Slowbro.

"Slowbrooo!" It cried out in pain.

"That's not an Absol." Lorelei said.

Everyone got a good like at the Pokémon, who was no longer an Absol but the illusion fox Pokémon; Zoroark!

"WWHAATTTTT!!"

"EEEHHHH!"

"A Zoroark?" Lorelei said, shocked and surprised, she saw a glint from the sun, 'A Mega Stone?'

Volkner saw the collar around the illusion fox Pokémon neck, "ash gave the Mega Stone to Loki. You have the other one don't you Alain?"

Alain nodded, "I gave it to Zoroark. ash was working on the item to hold them for the last couple of days." He answered.

"Umm."

"When did Loki evolve, big brother, Volkner?" Mairin asked, curiously.

"When he was training back at Professor Oak against Greninja, he evolved after learning a new combination attack." Alain answered.

"Loki use Dark Pulse!" ash said.

The illusion fox Pokémon fires a Dark Pulse towards the hermit crab Pokémon.

"Protect!" Lorelei commanded.

The hermit crab Pokémon immediately brought up a barrier around itself, protecting from the Dark-Type attack.

"Time to go, Slowbro." Lorelei said, she pulled her sleeve upwards revealing a silver Key Stone bracelets and she touched it, "Slowbro, go beyond evolution, Mega Evolve!"

"Slowbro." The mega hermit crab said, after Mega Evolving.

This got the crowd excited.

ash took out her Key Stone necklace from her pocket, she place it around her neck, "Loki us too."

Loki barked, ready.

"Key Stone response to the bond between my Pokémon and I." ash touched the stone and raised her right hand in the air, "Go beyond evolution, Mega Evolve!"

Loki appearance was different and he also a couple of inches taller.

"EHHHHH!"

"NO WAY!"

"Never seen one!"

"What's going on?!"

"A Mega Zoroark!"

"That's new!"

"That is so COOLL!" Takato shouted with star eyes, now he definitely needs to get his hand on a Zorua now, unless there is a Mega Stone for Mightyena then, he could wait. Oh, Takato you have no idea...

Alain snapped a picture of the Mega Zoroark Y and send it to his grandfather, to update the Mega Evolution Pokémon list.

At Kalos Region, Professor Sycamore Lab, renown to the Professor Sycamore, he was currently on his computer researching when he receive an email from his grandson.

"Umm, Alain?" Professor Sycamore blinked, he clicked opened the email and came to a surprise expression, towards the image. "A Zoroark? But it's different." He read the message.

Hello Grandpa,

You already saw the image I've sent you, that's image of Zoroark is a Mega Zoroark Y, Loki, ash's Zoroark who Mega Evolved used Zoroarksite Y and yes there is another Mega Stone for Zoroark to Mega Evolve, Zoroarksite X, which I have. More and newly discovered Mega Stones are starting to appear.

Professor Sycamore was extremely ecstatic about the newly discovered Mega Evolution Pokémon, he immediately updated the list of Mega Pokémon. He couldn't wait to see what other Pokémon is able to Mega Evolve now.

"Mega Zoroark Y." ash said.

Loki smirked, feeling the power and strength running through his body, he flicked his claws around.

"I'll admit that I've never seen or heard of a Zoroark who can Mega Evolve." Lorelei spoke up.

"I'm not surprise. Zoroark's Mega Stone has just been discovered not to long ago." ash responses, thanks to the Captain's Gastly and Haunter for finding them. "Loki and Alain's Zoroark are the only two Zoroark's that can Mega Evolve right now."

"So there is two types of Mega Stone for Zoroark's?"

ash nodded, "I have the Y one while Alain has the X."

"X and Y huh, just like Charizard."

"Yes. But enough of this let's continue. Loki use Dark Pulse!" ash continues the battle.

Mega Zoroark Y fires a Dark Pulse attack, towards the mega hermit crab Pokémon.

"Slowbro use Focus Blast!" Lorelei countered.

Mega Slowbro launches a Focus Blast attack towards the Dark Pulse attacks.

Both attacks collided against each other, causing a explosion.

"Sucker Punch." The Mega illusion fox Pokémon smirks and he ran across the field through the smoke and he clawed the surprised mega hermit crab Pokémon on the shell twice.

"Slowbro Slow!" It cried out in pain.

'Even with Slowbro ability the attack is stronger than before. Unless...' Prima thought and then realise that Mega Zoroark has an ability.

"Tough Claws." Alain said.

Misty, Takato, Mairin and all the other trainers looked at Alain when he spoke up, making him slightly annoyed at the attention he is getting.

"What?" Misty said.

"Mega Zoroark Y ability is Tough Claws, it's strengthens moves that makes contacts with the Pokémon." Volkner explains.

"Oh." They nodded and turned back to the battle.

Loki flipped backwards after attacking, landing back on the other side.

Mega Slowbro started to pants, it was starting to feel a bit exhausted.

"Slowbro use Surf." Lorelei said.

The mega hermit crab Pokémon summons a huge wave and it rode on top of the waves.

"Loki, intercept it with Night Daze." ash countered.

Loki bright blue eyes glowed brightly for a second, he rose both his hands channeling dark energy into them and he shot them down onto the ground, a giant dome of black energy exploding and towards the Surf attack.

[A/N: I swear that I'm loving the Night Daze attack!]

Everyone watched as both Surf and Night Daze attack colloid against each other and a explosion was made.

"WAHHH!"

"Woah!"

"Argh!"

"This battle is crazy!"

Everyone held the ground from the shockwaves of Night Daze before and now both Surf and Night Daze once again.

Loki smirked, he wasn't done yet, he ran across the field quickly and then jumped on the top of Mega Slowbro, surprising the mega hermit crab Pokémon he attacked it with another Night Daze but this time is a direct hit.

"SLOWBRO!" It cried out in pain.

"Slowbro!" Lorelei said, worriedly, she just saw the Night Daze hit her Pokémon.

The mega illusion fox Pokémon jumped back, landing far away from the mega hermit crab Pokémon and Mega Slowbro was panting heavily, after all the attacks by the Dark-Type Pokémon.

Prima was worried about her Pokémon when she realises that her Slowbro was exhausted and while Zoroark barely looked tired. 'It's here and now.' She thought, "Slowbro, Heal Pulse and then full power Hyper Beam!"

The mega hermit crab Pokémon had a pink glow outline around itself and it was half heal, "Slooowwww..." Mega Slowbro began to charge up and a orange energy orb appeared in its mouth.

"Loki get ready, we're going to break through with our new combined attack." ash warned.

The mega illusion fox Pokémon nodded.

"... Brooooooo!" The mega hermit crab Pokémon fired the Hyper Beam, leaving a blast of wind and dust.

"Now! Dark Tackle!" Loki eyes narrowed and he ran across the field and his body becomes surrounded by black purplish waves, he jumped within seconds before the Hyper Beam hit and he charged down with his body looking white.

"SLOW!" Mega Slowbro was panicking because it can move at all after the Hyper Beam attack, "SLOWBROOOOO!" It cried out in pain as it was hit directly.

A huge explosion was left behind after the attack.

Lorelei gasped, "Slowbro!" She called out, towards the large dust cloud.

"Unbelievable..."

"What an attack."

"Arf!" Mega Zoroark Y barked and he jumped out of the dust cloud, he flinched and black electricity sparks around his body, he slightly feeling recoil damage from the Dark Tackle.

"Dark Tackle. A version of Volt Tackle, so of course it would have a recoil damage." Volkner muttered.

"Sounds like ash." Alain added.

As the dust cloud began to disappear or fade away, it revealed a unconscious Mega Pokémon that soon reconverted back to its original form with swirling eyes.

ash blinked twice till she realised what happened, "I won...?" She muttered, in disbelief.

Mega Zoroark Y barked, loudly.

Takato stop recording and save the video in a file, called 'ash VS An Elite; Battles!'

Both Mairin and Takato looked at each other before they mouth turned into a large happy grin.

"ash, / Nee-chan," Mairin and Takato started.

"WWOOONNNNN!" They broke the silent.

The crowed cheered and applause.

"Unbelievable!"

"That's was an awesome battle!"

"Man, that was intense!"

"You said it!"

Misty gapped, "I can't believe it. ash actually beat one of Prima's strongest Pokémon." She gawked. "And she beat one of the Elite Four."

"Togeprii!" Togepi squealed, happily.

Lorelei smiled and saw walked towards her Slowbro was was coming back from its unconscious state, "Great job Slowbro, take a good long rest." She returned back her hermit crab Pokémon.

Loki reconverted back to his original form and snickered, he was happy that he won his battle against an Elite Four.

ash ran towards her friends and family, she smiled, "I can't believe I won." She said.

Takato hugged his sister waist, "Thats was awesome." He said.

"That's was a spectacular battle." Volkner complimented.

Alain nodded, "You should be proud. Both you and Loki." He said.

"You said it." Misty agreed.

Light jumped on her trainers shoulder, "Pikachu Pi! (Congrats!)" She said. "Pikachu Pika. (Loki you were awesome out here.)"

Loki barked.

ash smiled, "Thanks you guys."

Lorelei walked towards the gang, "That was one of the best battle I had in a long time." She held out her hand, "Thank you ash for that battle."

ash took the hand, "Your welcome Lorelei and thank you as well."

They both shook hands.

After the battle between Prima and ash, the whole city was talking about it and some people actually recorded it and posting on the Trainer's Page HomePage.

"Damn, I have to admit even I and my Pokémon can do that." A trainer muttered, impressed.

One trainer who was searching the web found out who Prima was battling against, "AAAHHHH! It's actually her! Damn it, I should've ask for an autograph! Oh man!" He whined.

"Dude, what's wrong with you?" Another trainer asked.

"I'm so stupid~"

"Okay..." People who were nearby and heard what he said, was sweat dropping.

"Oi! Did you found out who the trainer that Prima was battling is?"

"Yes..." He sulked.

"Well?"

"Here." The Trainer moves away from the computer, to continue his doom cloud mood and on the computer screen was a profile of 'ashley Mew Ketchum' and news.

"HOLYYYY!"

"I already tagged her name in the video, so yeah." The sulk trainer spoke up.

The other trainers male and female both, started to curse themselves for not recognising 'ashley Mew Ketchum' sooner.

"Wait a minute... Alain Sycamore?" DING! DING! DING! He remembered reading about him in the Kalos news, he saw him as an idol like ash, "CRAPPP! I should've asked for his autograph as well. Why did I miss two famous people.~" The Trainer continued to wail, those two were younger trainers idol because of their achievements and they are the two youngest ever winning a league at their age, with Cynthia Shirona being the third at sixteen and then she became Sinnoh's Champion at eighteen. "ARCEUS WHYYY!"

[ I have no idea about Cynthia but I made up her information. She won the Sinnoh League at sixteen being the first youngest but then ash and Alain earn those titles. She then became Sinnoh's Champion at eighteen, being one of the youngest Champion.]

ash sneezed two times and Alain sneezed as well, confusing the rest of the group.

As the sun was setting, it was time for the gang to leave Mandarin Island.

Lorelei was there to see them off.

"Thanks Lorelei for the battle again and hope we see you again as well." ash said.

Lorelei nodded, "Same here and next time I want a rematch." She declared.

ash smiled.

Lorelei remembered something, "Oh yes. Also I give a heads up Alain Sycamore." She looked the oldest Sycamore, "Bruno of the Elite Four is going to ask a battle against you when he see you."

Alain blinked, "What?"

"Oh." ash and Volkner said.

"Bruno has similar reason like me, expect he was wants to battle against that Charizard of yours."

Alain thought and nodded, "Of course, thanks for the heads up. Though he has to wait for a week or so, depending when we see him because my Charizard is back at Professor Oak's Lab with his mate." Alain explained.

"Ah." Lorelei understood.

"Its a pleasure to meet you Prima." Misty said, she's going to be travelling with them for a while.

Lorelei smiled, "Goodbye."

"Bye, bye!" Everyone waved, as they walked along the road.
