Chapter 150
Anthony certainly didnât expect Ully, a mere high school student, to be capable of killing all his subordinates. She even seemed unfazed.
Lily pinched her brows and began airily. âThey all call me Reese.â
Anthony and Heather froze in an instant, Widening her eyes, Heather gaped at Lily and bellowed, âTâThatâs impossible! Youâre just a high school student, but Reese is the king of the underground forces! How come youâre him? Youâre lying!!â
Lily sneered âWell, Iâm not!â
Staggering backward, Heather mumbled, âI donât believe you. This isnât true. This isnât true at all.â
Lily glanced up at her, a cold glint flickering in her eyes. Her gaze was shuttered as she stared at Heather.
âDo you know why Iâve tolerated your nonsense for so long?â
Heather stared at her blankly.
âI wanted to let you know that the Reese you obey is nothing but a high school student you detestedâ Lily nodded and continued, âVery well Iâm quite impressed by your reactions
She took her hands out of her pocket. âNow, itâs time for some action â

Lily finally released Anthony when he nearly ran out of breath. Allowing him to gasp for a mouthful of air, she tightened her grip on his neck again. He instantly felt like he was about to suffocate. This process was repeated incessantly, rendering him on the brink of death several times.

Lily paused and frowned. âItâs not you?â Her investigations all led to Anthonyâs men. What was going on?
âIt really wasnât me. I never intended to kill you I know youâre with Mr. Laurier, so I just instructed them to beat you up to avenge Heather. Why would I take your grandmaâs life?â Anthony rambled on, appreciating his chance to speak again..
Lilyâs ruthlessness caught him off guard. Without injuring him a single but, her torture nearly drove him mad. Only those whoâd danced on the precipice of oblivion could grasp depths of his feelings.
