That afternoon, the story of Lily’s deed appeared on Ember Creek High School’s forum.

Most of the comments were discussing how Jack would punish Lily. However, most people were secretly applauding Lily’s actions.

Jack had bullied many students in Ember Creek. Yet, since their families were no match for the Dalton family, they could only suffer in silence. Everyone he had bullied was ecstatic that someone had stepped forward to fix him.

Nevertheless, they were afraid to support Lily openly. After all, Jack would still be at school. No one wanted to be punished by him.

It was Nancy’s English class in the afternoon.

The Class 18 students seemed to show little respect for teachers other than John.

During Nancy’s class, they were noisy and undisciplined. Some were slouching over their desks, sleeping, and others were chatting Only a few were paying attention.

Nancy had always despised students of Class 18. Though she couldn’t be bothered to discipline them, she wouldn’t let any of them disrespect her either.

She thought that since Lily had shown such arrogance on her first day of school, she could not be lenient with her. Otherwise, Lily would get worse.
