It’s been over a year since Rose Rivyn narrowly escaped Wren’s Glen with her life. Having settled down into life in the royal city, she finds herself quite content. Free to explore her abilities as a mage, Rose no longer finds herself hiding for her life. For the first time ever, she is free. Or at least it seems that way. As word of a prophecy grows, Rose begins to doubt just how free she really is, wondering instead if she is part of a much darker plot. While still trusting of Aris, Rose begins to see just how despised shadow walkers are by populous at large. As Rose learns more about the nature of shadow walkers, she finds herself, once again, questioning everything she thought she knew about Aris and his brethren. Are they really misunderstood beings? Or is their infamous status warranted. Determined to not fall back into old patterns, Rose fearlessly presses onward, searching for answers despite her fear.
