Ch - 12

Actually in the past protagonist Xuran did not treat Grandpa Gu , like his own family,  at most he saw him like his father's friend .

Afterall he himself was a rich second generation , he was arrogant sometimes , but Xuran was different .

During these few months of contact he estabilished a very good connection with Grandpa Gu .

He came down later to prepare lunch for everyone and also told the soldiers , they could stay untill their injuries heal.

Others were surprised to know this but Zhang Yichen already knew it and the reason why he agreed to let them stay .

The lunch was ready Xuran called the kids , and they came running one after another .

While eating Lu Han asked " dad , these uncles are soldiers , can we practice our skills with them ?"

Xuran " no baby , you see uncles are injured and they need rest you can practice among yourselves ."

Xiumin got curious and asked what practice , to which Lu Han replied , " we have learned martial arts and we are very strong so we wanted to challege you , after all a strong opponent will always help you improve the best . "

Xiumin laughed and said " Its just a bunch of kids i can beat them even in my sleep . "

Xuran did not say anything and let the kids decide .

Kids happily agreed.

Later Xiumin was tired , fighting with these kids one by one.

These kids were obviousely so small yet they could make a giant man like him tired in a few hours .

Others were also watching them fight and they were also incredibly surprised to see such small kids fight so well.

Of course it was because of cultivation which greatly improved their speed and strength.

Zhang Yichen was also surprises , he really became intrested and asked " who taught you , how to fight "

Xu Huan " at first we went to a martial arts academy and then later dad taught us ."

Xuran would teach the kids in his free time , he saw the kids were already very talanted .

Ofcourse everyone felt refreshed after drinking it . They continued to excersice with the kids after all the three kids were full of evergy the entire day .

Finally getting tired at night both kids and soldiers , finished their dinner and went to sleep .

At night while going to bed Zhang Yichen thought , his injuries were getting better at a rate visible to naked eye .

The wound that should have originally taken one month to heal might be completely healed in five days .

He could not sleep so he went out of the room for a walk .

There were unfamiliar people at home so Xuran did not enter the space at night .

He could not fall asleep so he went out and decided to make some cakes , he knew kids had sweet tooth and loved cakes and cookies , so he started making them .

After he started making them he saw Zhang Yichen coming downstairs .

Zhang Yichen also did not expect to see Xuran downstairs .

Xuran " what happened ?"

Zhang Yichen " nothing , just not sleepy yet ."

then he asked " what are you doing here ?"

Xuran " I couldn't sleep , so I decided to bake some cakes and cookies for tomorrow "

Zhang Yichen nodded in understanding .

Yichen " should I help , it would be faster "

After all since he was making cookies he had to make them for guests as well so quantity wasn't small .

Xuran nodded and gave him space to stand beside and help him .

While making Yichen said  " your kids are really good at fighting , espically at such a younge age ."

" Although they could not defeate my companions but they were still strong enough to make them tired ."

" espically Lu Han , that kid doesn't  admit defeat no matter what , he would still stand up everytime after falling ."

" and Xiao Liang , although she is a girl but she is far stronger than other kids her age , she can already beat an adult easily ."

" Xu Huan is very inteligent and would always attack the weak points . "

Xuran was naturally very happy to hear his kids being praised .

That too from the villian itself , one of the strongest, power users in the book .

He had thunder , corrosion and strength supernatural powers .

Most people would only have one power , a very few would have two types of supernatural powers , but three types are very rare and strong .

They casually chatted a bit more , after they were done with the work they went back to sleep .

Yichen woke up early next morning , he felt much better compared to the pain he had yesterday morning in his abdomine .

He washed up and went downstairs .
