199 Dance As Much as She Wants
Joseph furrowed his brows.
Although it was common to see âprofessionalâ young dancers in some smoky clubs, the girl on the stage was somewhat different, as if she didnât fit in here at all.
She had fair skin and a perfect figure. Although she hid half of her face, one could easily tell that she was beautiful. Joseph thought a girl like her shouldnât belong to the stage at the nightclub.
Isabella was a dance major in college. Joseph suspected that she might have once earned her life by dancing in the club.
Joseph saw a muscular man go up to the stage and dance closely with the girl. He even lifted her. Suddenly, he felt grossed and looked away.
Suddenly he found Cedric in a daze.
âWhat? Are the dancers in the Peace City better than those abroad?â Joseph teased.
âWell, blow my mind.â
Cedric lifted her glasses to Joseph. âActually, I donât know much about dancing, but she is damn hot on the stage. No wonder sheâs one of Zacharyâs champion cards.â
.....
âIf you like it, Zachary got a lot of resources. Iâve been invited to a wild party days ago.â Joseph smiled, âItâs a good place to kill time.â
Cedric nodded.
Cedric didnât appreciate the girlâs dancing skills but stared at the large, flowery band-aid on her right knee.
If he remembered it correctly, the girl Cedric met in the southern suburb last night was injured on her right knee.
At that time, Cedric wanted to send her to the hospital. But later, he was distracted by her unexpected behavior and forgot about the hospital thing.
He still remembered that the girl was slender and tall, and she looked more beautiful in a dress. So, Cedric was wondering if they were the same...
Then he gently patted her head and pulled himself out of his fantasy. He was probably obsessed with the girlâs attractive smile in the moonlight. Since this girl also had a knee injury, then...
So, Cedric turned to Zachary. âHey! I remember that youâre a gentleman, but how can you let an injured girl dance on the stage? No matter how well her dance is, I donât think itâs proper. Are you lost your mind for money?â
Zachary stretched out his neck. âOh, it really is a band-aid. Cedric, you have good eyesight. Alright, I told people to let her come off the stage. She is lucky tonight to run into you.â
Cedric smiled. âActually, itâs because of yesterday...â
A sudden loud noise came from the side.
Joseph banged the table angrily with the wine cup. âZachary! Let her come up!â
Everyone was shocked, including the barmaids. Zachary looked at the stage downstairs and said uncertainly, âWhich one?â
âThe girl with a band-aid!â
Zachary looked at Joseph in shock, then turned to Jayden. Then Jayden immediately asked, âDid she do something wrong?â
Joseph narrowed her eyes, looking furious. âNo, sheâs freaking awesome. Thatâs why I give her a chance to dance as much as she wants!â
After the dance, there was a wave of applause and cheers amid the crowds. Zachary looked at the girl overwhelmed by the crowd and said, âIâm sorry, Joseph, she only dances on the stage, and we made a deal. If you like her, maybe I can talk to her personally and see if she wants to...â
Suddenly, Joseph stood up and walked downstairs with Gerry.
âOh crap!â
Zachary was flustered. âCedric, Jayden, help! Did I piss Joseph off?â
Jayden was confused. âThatâs weird. Why was Joseph so grumpy today? Did your girl piss him off?â
âImpossible! Sheâs new!â
Cedric was puzzled and frowned at the stage. âZachary, what the hell is going on? Did your dancers have to provide another service?â
Zachary saw several men holding the girl and forcing her to drink. A man angrily threw the cup and scolded, âFuck, how dare you run riot through Zacharyâs territory. Youâre screwed, bitch!â
The man took the girl off the stage.
âWell, actually, I think I know this girl somewhere,â Jayden said.
Only Jayden and Cedric are in the huge private room.
âWho is it?â
Jayden took a sip of wine, smiling. âForget it, and maybe my memory tricks me. Come on, Cedric!â
...
It had been a tough day for Isabella.
She must piss God off so that she had to spend a lifetime paying for her mistakes.
She fought with Joseph in the morning and then ran into the annoying Lukas in the evening. What was worse, her boss played hard when she asked for her salary. But her bad luck continued. Joseph had just scolded her badly, and she met the damn guy who wears glasses yesterday.
She met this guy for the past two days. He must be that kind of local ruffian bumming around all day.
When the man handed her the wine, Isabella knew she would have to pay the price to leave here safely. So, she pretended to be obedient, and this was how she saved herself from dangers. She believed Mr. Fred would be free from troubles.
So, Isabella took his wine.
âNice, you know the rules.â The punk sneered and handed another cup.
âIt was all my fault yesterday, so I deserve it.â Isabella smiled sweetly while drinking.
But he handed her the third one.
âDrink it! Drink it!â
Cheers rose from below the stage. Isabella looked at Mr. Fred among the crowds, and he made a âpleaseâ gesture at her.
Isabella pursed his lips and smiled. âFair enough. Thank you for your serving, Sir. Itâs my honor. Guys, thisâs the third one.â
Isabella drank it up.
However, he seemed not to stop.
Isabella frowned at him.
If it were small shots, Isabella could handle five or six shots, but with a large and tall whiskey tumbler, she might get drunk. Three tumblers were equal to half bottle of wine.
Isabella did not take it this time and said with a smile, âI have taken a lot, Sir. Would you mind telling me how many left?â
The guy sneered. âYou know me. After this bottle of wine, weâre even. If I am happy, I might consider setting you free.â
