Their honeymoon was coming to an end. Dimitri had taken her parasailing, boating, and everything you think of while spending a week at the beach.

“I hope you’ve enjoyed your time here, ~myshka~.”

“It was wonderful, Dimitri. We will need to come back. Evie would love the beach. You know we haven’t taken her to the beach house you and Max have.”

Dimitri pecked her lips. “It’s your house too; everything that is ours is yours.”

“So, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about life and my role. I’m not sure I want to be a stay-at-home mother all the time.”

“Well, it’s too dangerous for you to work outside of the business. Is there something you had in mind?”

“I thought I could get a degree. I’ve always wanted to go to college but never had the funds.

“Before you ask about Evie, I can take courses online; I won’t have to go to a campus, and I can still be home with her.”

“~Myshka~, I’m not going to say no; you don’t have to keep justifying it. If this is what you want, then we’ll make it happen.”

Kyle’s face lit up, and she threw herself at Dimitri, hugging him. “Thank you! Do you think Max will agree?”

“I’m sure he will. Now let’s go; we have a plane to catch.”

The flight seemed to be longer than she thought it would be. She was eager to see Evie and Max. She loved her alone time with Dimitri, but her favorite time was when they were all together.

By the time they made it home, it was late, and she wanted to sleep, but her first stop was to see Evie.

She quietly stepped into Evie’s room and saw her soundly sleeping in her crib.

Her little girl had grown so much, and her heart felt like it was being squeezed thinking about how fast time had gone by.

Part of her reason to go back to school was Evie; she wanted her daughter to grow up with a smart mother and challenge herself. She wanted to be a role model.

She lightly placed a kiss on Evie’s head before leaving for Dimitri’s room. When she entered his room, he was lying in bed reading.

“I thought you would be sleeping with Max tonight.”

“No, I’ll see him in the morning. I don’t want to wake him up, and I’d like to spend one more night with you alone.”

Dimitri smiled at her, and she walked toward the dresser to find one of his shirts to wear.

“I like it when you wear my shirts.”

“I like wearing them; they’re always soft and smell like you.”

Kyle climbed into bed and cuddled into Dimitri. He turned off the lamp and lay down, pulling Kyle closer to him. Kyle rested her head on his chest.

“Dimitri?”

“Yes, ~myshka~?”

“Did you ever think you would get married?”

“No. I never met anyone I wanted to marry until you.”

“What about you?”

“I always thought I would eventually get married. I never thought I have kids though.

“I didn’t have the best childhood, and making ends meet was hard, and I didn’t want my children to grow up not having what they need.

“But then you and Max came along, and we had Evie, it changed everything. Now I want a house full of children.”

Dimitri could hear the happiness in his voice, and it made him happy. He knew that his happiness was forever tied to her and his family.

He also realized he was secretly jealous of his brother—jealous of being a father.

Even though they were teaching Evie to see both of them as her father, and even though he loved her, he was still jealous, and he hated being jealous of his brother.

Kyle woke up the next morning to the sound of Evie’s baby gibberish.

“Morning, little bee,” Max said with a grin.

“Good morning to you too.”

“Evie couldn’t wait to see her mama.”

“Are you sure it was Evie and not you?”

“I’ll never tell; I have a reputation to uphold.”

Kyle let out a laugh. “I’m sure your reputation is already ruined. Evie has you wrapped around her finger.”

“Hmm, this is true,” Max said before kissing her.

“Where’s Dimitri?”

“In his office. He wanted to catch up on something but didn’t want to take you.”

“Can we have a family day, the four of us?”

“I’m sure we can. You’ll have to convince Dimitri to stop working.”

“I think I can do that.”

Kyle felt like something was wrong, which was why she suggested a family day. After she showered and got dressed, she went to Dimitri’s office and knocked on the door.

When she heard Dimitri say, “Come in,” she quickly opened the door and was surprised by the person in his office.

“Anatoli!” she squealed. She ran to him and hugged him. “They didn’t tell me you would be here.”

He chuckled and hugged her back. “I was just getting ready to leave.”

Kyle gave him a frown. “When will you be back? I haven’t seen you in forever.”

“I’ll be back tomorrow, and I’ll bring Violet with me.”

“You’re the best.” She stood on her toes and kissed his cheek.

Anatoli, too, was his sign to leave. Once he was gone, Kyle turned her attention to Dimitri.

“So, what do I have to do to convince you to stop working and to hang out with your family today?”

Dimitri folded his hands on his desk and gave her a smirk.

“I can think of a few things, and they all start with you in my lap, without underwear.”

Kyle felt the excitement shoot through her and walked toward him, straddling him once she approached him.

“Show me what you want?”

Dimitri liked the new confidence that Kyle was showing. It turned him on knowing she was enjoying the sex as much as he was.

He was already hard and ready for her, and it excited him even more that it was going to be against his desk.
