Dear Mrs. Parker
You were so stunning today at school, well you always are but you had this certain glow around you today. Your smiling face greeting me this morning in the hallway made all bad things from last night go away. Things suddenly didnât feel so bad you know?
Iâm sure you didnât notice or I hope you never do, but every time you pass by you make my head turn. Even for the slightest second, I can not bear to miss getting one final glimpse of you.
Sweet, sweet Mrs. Parker if only I found the right words to tell you what you mean to me. But here I sit, writing my letters in hopes that I will one day have the courage to give you them. To tell you my story. To tell you how loved you are by me.
Yours truly, Karla Lewis.
âHey Karla!â I turn around as I hear my name being called, I donât have many friends at school so having people call after me is not an everyday thing.
I see one of the guys from my biology class run up to me, I think his name is Jonathan. Heâs new at the school so I donât know him that well yet but so far he seems nice. I give him a small nod as he comes up to me.
âHave you seen Mrs. Parker today?â Heâs out of breathe, so I assume heâs been running.
âI think sheâs in her classroomâ I reply but before Iâm done heâs on his way again, shouting a small thanks before heading against the classroom.
My curiosity gets the best of me and I slowly walk after him, the bathrooms are the same way so if anyone asks I figure I can use that as an excuse. No one asks though and by the time I pass by Mrs. Parkerâs room both she and Jonathan are on their way out. Seemingly in a rush as well, so I move out of their way not to cause any trouble.
Later that day I find out that Mrs. Parkerâs husband had gone to jail. I never found out what for but one of the girls in my math class thought it was fraud of some kind.
When I came home I wanted to write her another letter, but I lacked the words. Instead I just wrote a small note.
Dear Mrs. Parker
Iâm sorry, I love youâ¦
