Chapter 105.1: Not Being Considerate in All Aspects

Jing Wan originally wanted to let someone have Li Ru Yu sent onto the Cheng Junwang Manor horse carriage, directly having her sent back, but Li Ru Yu was unwilling to cooperate, insisting on having her own two servant girls support her. Jing Wan roughly understood. This was after having the irrelevant people sent away, the two family’s turn to quarrel. Although she lived in this world for more than ten years, in the end, she wasn’t really someone ‘naturally grown’ here. Some things, she ultimately can’t completely incorporate into her own thoughts. For instance, she herself actually feel that this isn’t anything major, but in other people’s eyes, this wasn’t the case. At least, the rights and wrongs within needed to be reasoned.

“Grandmother, this matter………” The cause of this matter actually was still on her. Although, in reality, she didn’t do anything wrong either. It was all because of Li Ru Yu, that one with the broken brain, not properly reflecting on the problems on herself, having all the fault and resentment splashed onto Jing Wan, going as far as to say she stole Sun Yi Lin, and thus incurred her retaliation. This was purely a bandit’s logic, but she precisely did this. The most innocent was actually still Chen Zheng Min. However, having easily gotten schemed against by a little girl, he really wasn’t all that innocent either, or rather should say, also a bit incompetent.

[1] This is ancient lingo for one-night stand. Technically it’s suppose to be translated as ‘dew water romance’, but it sounds sorta weird, so I got creative. Dew water is figurative speech for ‘short-lasting’ in chinese poetry.

T/N: Since there have been a lot of question about this issue, I’m making a note here to clarify, Junzhus(郡主) are not imperial princesses(公主). Only the daughter of an Emperor is considered an imperial princess. The rule about having the forfeit a career in officialdom only applies to marrying an imperial princess(公主) specifically. So in other words, the Emperor’s son-in-laws are not allowed to work in officialdom.

I know that junzhus often get translated as princess, which kinda bothers me, but I can understand because there’s really no english equivalent. But in concept, the role and position of a junzhu is very different from that of an imperial princess so they shouldn’t be lumped together.
