Going to another party was not Yoongi's ideaâ it was. He went alone this time. If none of his friends were with him and didn't know where he was, they couldn't stop him from having fun, because that's what he went to the party for. Yoongi wanted to have fun. He wanted to forget about all of his problems and just live as a human. He wanted to forget the slightly awkward dinner with Taehyung's friends and he wanted to ignore that sinking feeling in his stomach, or rather he wanted to fill it with alcohol instead.
Loud music was ringing into his ears, the feeling of people dancing and whirling around him, the dim lights and plastic cups everywhere he looks. Usually, Yoongi can drink pretty well, but tonight was all about having fun and getting drunk. He chugged beer after beer and eventually, he could feel himself becoming loose. He could feel himself becoming one with the music, one with the bodies surrounding him.
He was partying. Fun.
He danced although he wouldn't usually do so, especially considering he was limping around with his cast, but the music was so upbeat and so fun that Yoongi found himself dancing with some random girl, both of them smiling from ear to ear, drinks in hand and bounce in their step. She was blonde and her hair was curled up in a high ponytail. Yoongi didn't pay much attention to what she was wearing, but it was fun dancing with her at least, despite his foot weighing him down constantly. He didn't even know where his crutches were anymoreâ probably somewhere on the wallâ or did he even bring them?
And even after nearly three hours of being here, Yoongi was barely give out. Normally he would give up the hype after about thirty minutes, but hell, this was his moment. Tonight was his night to forget about everything and be someone else. Tonight was the night that Yoongi would be happy.
"Yoongi?"
The muffled voice made Yoongi think that it was just in his head, but then he heard his name again, a high pitched voice ringing in his ears right before his arm was grabbed. He turned to the voice and smiled big as he realized that it was Kwan calling him.
"Kwan!" He tugged her arm, pulling her in to dance, but the girl raised her eyebrow at him as she pulled her arm back away from him.
"Yoongi," she repeated again, louder this time so that Yoongi could hear over the music. "You're really drunk, you know." She gave him a worried look, but Yoongi was too busy frowning over the blonde dancing girl leaving him to dance with another girl instead.
"That's the point," he yelled to Kwan as audible as he could. "Dance with me."
Kwan shook her head. "I didn't take you as the type to like dancing," she said.
"Tonight is different." Yoongi pulled her in by her waist this time and took her hand. It wasn't the best decision considering Kwan obviously likes Yoongi, but Yoongi was oblivious to anything and everything as of right now. He probably wouldn't even remember this in the morning, so he just did whatever. He didn't care and neither should Kwan.
It's just dancing.

Yoongi woke up slowly at first. His eyes were focusing in on a dark room, but a lamp or something was shining enough for him to see the roomâ and suddenly he was wide awake. He bolted up, his head pounding like crazy as he started to freak out, realizing exactly where he was. He felt a blanket over his legs, so the first thing he did was remove it. It took a second for him to realize that the light was coming from the corner of the room, where a desk and desk chair was sitting.
He swallowed thickly. "Tae?"
Suddenly the big leather desk chair was twisting around, revealing said person. "Ah, did my music wake you?" Taehyung asked. If Yoongi was honest, he didn't even notice the faint tunes filling the room. All he could focus on was the fact that he was suddenly waking up in Kim Taehyung's bedroom.
"No," he muttered. Taehyung's eyes were set on him, so Yoongi decided to awkwardly stretch his arms above his head, avoiding eye contact. "How did I get here?" he asked. "I wasn't even near your house last night."
"Last night?" Taehyung asked as he stood up from the chair. He reached for a white plastic bag on the desk and then turned back around to Yoongi, holding it out to him. "It's still nighttime, Yoongi. Take this." He held the bag out further. Yoongi took the bag hesitantly, hearing rattling coming from inside.
He furrowed his eyebrows as he put the bag in his lap. "What is this?" he asked.
"For your headache." Taehyung sat back down in the chair and shrugged. "It's medicine and a bottled water." He tilted his head to get a better view of Yoongi, who probably looked like shit. He reeked of alcohol and sweat. "You need to rest more. I don't know why you woke up, but I can get you some pajamas if you want."
Yoongi looked back up at Taehyung in confusion as he took the things out of the bag. "I don't understand." He opened the water bottle and started to drink it heavily, then placed it on Taehyung's bedside table. "How did I get here? Where did you get this medicine and water bottle?" he questioned as he opened said medicine and took some.
Taehyung shrugged. "Jimin said he found you at a party with some girl," he explained curtly. "Said you asked to go home because someone hit your foot and you were slumped against the wall, but you wouldn't tell him where your house was, so he brought you here instead. Do you want the pajamas or not?"
The way Taehyung sounded made Yoongi think. Why does he sound so weird? He can't exactly pinpoint it, but it feels wrong. Something about him just feels off.
"Sure," Yoongi answered him. His body felt like shit, his head was pounding, his hips and muscles were tense and hurting, his broken foot sore as well. Lying down in Taehyung's bed for a while wouldn't be so bad, especially considering Taehyung has fallen asleep in Yoongi's bed before, so he didn't think much about it when Taehyung gathered some pajamas for him. He also didn't think much when he started taking his clothes off right in the middle of the room.
Taehyung averted his eyes, but Yoongi couldn't care anymore. They're friendsâ it doesn't matter what he does anymore. Taehyung doesn't care to see him like this, right? They can do things without feelings because feelings aren't a problem now.
"Can we cuddle?" he asked.
The question must've made Taehyung think that Yoongi was crazy. They had done it before, so Yoongi doesn't understand the issue. Plus, he knows Taehyung likes to do it.
"Why?" Taehyung asked.
Yoongi shrugged as he pulled Taehyung's big dark grey t-shirt on over his head. "Because we used to do it a lot," he said, "and I want to cuddle. I feel like shit, just... Please?" He pulled the blanket out of his way and made his way into the bed. "Please cuddle?" he asked as he pushed his feet under the blanket.
He could see the way Taehyung's head dropped, but the vampire was already giving in and walking towards the other side of the bed. Yoongi tried not to smile as he got under the blanket too, then opened his arms for Yoongi to fit just right into. But Yoongi had other plans. He turned facing his back towards Taehyung, then backed up into his arms, happily sighing as his back pressed perfectly into Taehyung's chest, right into his arms. This is what he wanted.
"Goodnight, Yoongi." Taehyung pressed his body against him more, then started to gently circle his thumb into Yoongi's tummy, which made him melt into the touch from having such queasiness turn into butterflies and warmth. The damn vampire just keeps making Yoongi want more, more, more.
He hummed softly into the cold air, then calmly placed his hand on Taehyung's. He stopped moving his thumb, but Yoongi whined and suddenly Taehyung was massaging him again, this time not stopping just because Yoongi had ahold of his wrist, pressing his own two fingers against Taehyung's knuckles to reassure he's doing something good, to indicate that Yoongi likes this.
"Thank you," Yoongi muttered softly, "for the medicine and drink. For this, as well. Thank you, Taehyungie," he spoke low into the room, just enough for Taehyung to hear.
"Anytime, Yoongi."

Yoongi found himself sitting alone with Hoseok. It had been a while since Hoseok had come to Yoongi's house, but Yoongi had purposely found a way to drag him here regardless of what Hoseok wanted, because Yoongi had suddenly remembered something as he was sitting at the dining table with Jimin the other day, eating the food that Jimin and Jungkook had made for him.
"Hoseok," Yoongi crossed his left leg over his right one. He leaned forward in his desk chair, staring at Hoseok, who was looking through his social media on his phone. The vampire looked up in confusion as Yoongi pulled his shirt down over his left shoulder and turned to reveal the T marked on his skin. Hoseok's eyes widened, but he said nothing. "I've seen enough anime to know that this shit isn't normal, Seokie." Yoongi stood up, slight confidence in his voice. "So tell me, is this fucking mark some weird vampire shit, or what? What is this? Tell me. I want to know."
Hoseok frowned as Yoongi sat on the bed next to him. "I- I don't know."
Yoongi scoffed as he released his shirt. "I remember Jimin and you talked about something." He crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes at his friend, knowing exactly how to get something out of him. "You vampires go around marking people or something? Or is it something else? What is it?"
"N-No, we don't," Hoseok whined as he sat up on Yoongi's bed. "It's- It's really not my place to say, Yoongi. I'm sorry. I wish I could, but you'll have to ask Taehyung about it."
So it is a vampire mark?
"Taehyung won't tell me."
Hoseok shrugged. "That's not my fault, though. I'm sorry. Just keep asking."
"He'll keep ignoring me."
"He loves you," Hoseok suddenly said, his voice light. Something about those words made Yoongi's breath hitch and his eyes still in on Hoseok's guilty expression. "If you be consistent, I'm sure he'll tell you."
Yoongi sighed exhaustedly to himself. Not even Hoseok will tell him the truth.
"You don't even know the full story, yet you trust Taehyung?"
Full story. What was that supposed to mean? What Jimin said that day to Yoongi, why had it stuck to his memory so well? Is it because Jimin doesn't want Yoongi to become a vampire's fresh sack of blood, or is it because there's more behind this mark on him?
What does the mark mean?
