Frost's p.o.v

Chapter Sixteen: No, my eyes are just sweating.
"You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch." I sing while brushing my hair. I put it into a loose braid. I throw on my black leggings, and my dark red long sleeved shirt. I pull on my dirty old high top, converse and grab my bag.
I run downstairs, searching for my wonderful mom. "Ma?" I walk into the kitchen and find it strangly empty.
"She's at a check-up," Dad explains and hands me a brown bag. "I packed you some lunch. Your favorite," he says with a genuine smile.
"Thank you?" I ask more than say. He pats my head before disappearing back into the kitchen.
My dad has never once made me a lunch. Ever. Not even when I was younger.
My phone buzzes and I fish it out of my pocket.
Manon: I'm not going to school, I keep throwing up.
6:47 a.m
Me: nooooooo, you need get better. I'm gonna be stuck with the boysðð I do like bothering them, don't get me wrong. But you're my partner in crime girl.
6:47 a.m
Manon: Sorry and you'll be just fine. Stop complaining.
6:47 a.m
Me: fine.
6:48 a.m
I shut my phone off and pierce my lips. "To avenge my best friends sickness, I will make the boys suffer."
"The only one suffering is you,"
"Shut up Nailia."
I walk outside and skip over to Nova's house. I knock on his door and Tatum answers it. Her eyes light up as they meet mine. "Good morning Tatum!"
"Hello dear, how can I help you?" she says with a smile.
"Can Nova drive me to school today? I don't have enough gas, and I'm saving it to drive and get some more." I explain and she nods.
"Of course," she calls for Nova and he appears with an apple in his mouth.
He looks like... those one pigs that are about to get cooked in those cartoons. And then Pumba from The Lion King.
His eyes fall on me, and he sighs. I grin and wave. "Bye mom," he says and quickly gives his mom a kiss on the cheek.
Oh em goodness. That was by far the most cutest thing I have ever seen him do.
As soon as he closes the door, I pinch his cheeks. "Awe you're so sweet!" he slaps my hands away, walking away. I follow him with a grin on my face.
He gets in his car, slamming his door. "You have more mood swings than my ninety-year-old great grandpa," I tell him as I get in.
"Whatever." he sighs and starts driving, "I heard there was going to be a rainstorm. Do you have a raincoat? If you don't, you can borrow mine." I freeze and slowly turn my head to face him.
"W-What kind of rainstorm? Is it going to flood?" I ask and gulp. He looks at me weirdly, frowning.
"You know, heavy rain- Matthews don't you watch the News?"
I ignore his question and look out the window. Sure enough, the clouds were darker than usual. Nova pulls into the school lot, parking his car. I wipe my sweaty hands on my jeans before hopping out of the car.
I snatch my bag and rush towards the building. I hear Nova call for me, but I ignore him, picking up my pace. A hand grasps my arm, pulling me back. I whip around and see Nova. "Where are you going, Matthews? What's wrong?"
"I, um.." I rack my brain for an excuse. My eyes stay glued to the sky.
There is no way I can tell Nova about my.. my thing. He wouldn't understand anyways, he probably wouldn't even care.
"I... have to go call my cat!" I blurt and run.
Lies.
"You... don't have a cat?" Nova responds in a questioning tone but that doesn't stop me. This girl's gotta skedaddle!
For whatever odd reason, the Pokémon theme song pops into my mind.
Gotta catch 'em all.
I run into the classroom, panting.
"I can't breathe!" I flop into the classroom dramatically. Everyone looks at me weirdly.
"You guy do not want to walk in the hallway. Bigfoot is out there." I point towards the door, and they all roll their eyes and get back to their chatter.
Lies, again.
I skip to my seat and wait for the class to start. The door starts to open and I look up.
"Please don't be Nova, please don't be Nova," I whisper, crossing my fingers under the desk. I cross my legs and my toes as well.
Then, no other than Nova walks in and struts right towards me looking like he could hurt a poor, innocent fly.
One fly equals, one prayer.
"Why did you run off like that? I wasn't done talking to you." he snarls and yanks the seat out, sitting down. I sheepishly smile at him and wave Cole over.
"Your best friend is going to kill me," I tell him and he chuckles. "Save me,"
"Hey, you guys are acting like a real couple," Cole says as he sits down. He gives Nova a nudge, and Nova's cheeks turn red.
"Trust me," I say, "He wants nothing to do with me. If he only had one bullet, and the choice to shoot me, you or him, he'd shoot me." I explain. Cole snickers while Nova nods.
I laugh, "The guy doesn't even deny it."
"'Cause you're annoying," he states and I smile. My eyes wander to the windows, and I could hear my own heartbeat over the loud chatter.
I watch the raindrops slowly fall, and my palms begin sweating again. "Frost?" Cole brings me out of my mind, "You okay?"
"Yeah.. yeah I'm fine.." I answer with a nod. "Just... fine."
"Matthews, if there's something you need to tell us..."
"I'm fine! Don't worry," I try reassuring them with a smile. Cole shares a look with Nova. Nova glances out the window and me.
"If you say so," Nova mutters just as Mr. Earl walks in.
I huff out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
This day is going to suck.
The whole time during classes, I couldn't focus on any class work. Nova wrote down my notes for me, which shocked me.
I hold the lunch my dad packed, speed walking in the opposite direction of the windows. Nova, Cole, Kai, and Iris all give me a weird look as I walk past them.
I walk to the table in the far corner, away from everyone and all the windows. I sit down and start searching through the bag.
I pull out a chicken sandwich.
The sound of trays sliding on the table made me lift my head. "What are you guys doing here?" I ask the boys and Iris.
"Sitting with you, obviously," Nova states with a roll of his eyes. Everyone stares at me before checking their faces. "You guys don't feel... hot... do you? I mean.. you guys aren't sweating right?" They all nod their heads.
I feel like I'm being interrogated. What is he onto anyways?
"Frost, why are you sweating?" Kai asks, "It isn't even that warm.. I'm actually freezing."
I raise my brows, "I'm sweating?" I then swipe my forehead, and sure enough, I'm drenched in sweat. I wipe the sweat off, "I don't know why I'm sweating.." I say. They nod, all looking at me skeptically.
I continue wiping my head until it's dry. "That was weird, I didn't even know!"
"Speaking of weird, why didn't you sit with us?" Cole asks with a raise of his brow. "I mean, you always rush to sit with us. And why away from the windows?"
I gulp,"N-No reason,"
"If there is something on your mind, you can tell us." Nova says with a serious expression.
"I'm fine! Stop acting like my mom when she has coffee," I fake a laugh and they surprisingly believe it. Nova stares at me in a creepy way as he eats.
I feel... creeped out.
The school day went by faster, and my nightmare arrived slowly. I stand in front of the school doors, on the brink of tears. My breath comes out shakily as I try drowning out the sound of the pouring rain.
I watch my dad's car pull in, and I hug my backpack close to me.
It's just rain. A little rain never hurt anybody... right?
He sees me and parks as close to the sidewalk as possible. I held my breath as I ran out into the rain. I open the back door and jump in, slamming it shut.
"Hey." he says and we drive out of the school parking lot. I try to focus on my breathing and forget that it's poring outside.
Calm down Frost. No need to panic.
I then hear the sound of thunder which sends a chill down my spine.
Who's a savage? You are Frost! Man up! Grow a pair.
"H-hi," I say after a few moments. I can't believe it had to rain today. Out of all days. Couldn't have to just rain at night and that's it? When I was sleeping? You know, snoring my freaking head off.
I think this is karma getting back at me for annoying people. But hey what would the world do without us people, to annoying our family and friends? It would probably be a pretty boring world if you ask me.
"How was schoo-" he starts to say but I cut him off.
"Can't we just get home faster? It's bad enough already, because of the stupid rain." I growl out. I feel the car start to go faster as I lay down sideways, trying to get away from the windows as much as possible. I put my bag over my head and focus more on other things.
Dang it.
I'm hungry again.

As soon as we got home, I ran into the house and straight to my room. Mom came up a couple of times to check up on me to see how I was doing.
She brought me some left over eclair and I scarfed it down.
It kept raining when dinner time came around. I sat in the bathroom the hole time refusing to go eat. But, luckily I had some chips and water bottles I could live off of for the rest of my pathetic, yet fun life.
I had to block all the windows with my curtains. I quickly race into my room, and snatch my fabulous earbuds. I run back into the bathroom. I plug them in my phone, slide down into the tub, and jam out to my jam.
I didn't have any jam with me. Although, it would've have been nice to jam with some jam.
I grab a towel and get it damp. I dab my cheeks, trying to get rid of the dried tear streaks.
And not the Snapchat kind.
After I finished wiping my face, I started looking through my Meme Stash photo album. I then started looking through my Instagram, when I got a text from Nova.
Oh god no. I don't need his foolishness right now.
Buttface: Window now. I want to talk.
6:34 p.m
Me: Hmm. Let me think... no.
6:34 p.m
Buttface: Why not? Lost your annoying self mojo? ð
6:34 p.m
Me: Umm because I said so. And no I did not lose it. I'm choosing not to use it, thank you very much.
6:35 p.m
Buttface: Okay fine. Be like that then.
6:35 p.m
I shut my phone off and lie my head against the wall. I take out an earbud, which was a bad idea. Fresh tears form as the sound of the heavy rain fills my ears. The tears roll down my cheeks.
Suddenly, I hear a loud knock downstairs, and I already know who it is.
Is he insane?
"Frost! You friend is here!" I hear mom yell. I huff and get up, opening my door. But I don't dare to walk down stairs.
"Okay... well.. tell them to go away!" I yell, my voice cracking. Guess I'm not done with puberty yet. I walk back into my room and into the bathroom, closing the door.
I hear footsteps walk up the stairs. I jump up to my feet and lock the bathroom door.
"Matthews, open the door." Nova's voice is heard. "We need to talk. Now."
"No," I respond with a sniffle. "Go away you big buttface. Go.. go stuff a pineapple up your butt."
I hear him sigh, before it goes silent. "Matthews-"
"What part of go away don't you understand?" I snap and wipe my eyes.
"Are.. are you crying?" he asks, his voice so quiet I barely heard him.
"No, my eyes are just sweating." I lie and a ghost smile appears at my reply.
"Eyes don't sweat idiot. It's not even physically possible." he comments, making me slightly laugh.
I guess I'll open the door. Only 'cause I'm such a nice girl.
I unlock the door, and crack it open, sticking my head out. "New phone, who dis? Follow me, I know da way."
Nova's eyes search my face before his eyes soften. "Have you been crying?" he whispers, and I look away.
Exposed.
I begin shaking at the sound of the rain, my heart thumping. "Maybe.. maybe not. You never know."
He surprises me by pulling me into his arms, squeezing me tightly. I hesitantly wrap my arms around him, drowning out the rain.
"You can tell me anything.." he states and I nod.
"I know," I say, "But you can't freak out.. or anything. Okay?"
"Okay."
I breath in deeply, closing my eyes.
God this is going to be hard.

Y'all i need to have a serious moment here.
That means you gotta go Frost.
*leaves*
Okay.
*deep breath*
So I've been on Wattpad for two years now, and I've made many other books over those two years. I've made at least over 30, and none of them got this much attention. I honestly want to cry, but since I am a stone cold trash bag, I won't. I just want to let those who read You're so Annoying, thank you so much. I have so much more to say bUT I HATE HAVING SUCH LONG A/N'S. You guys mean a lot to me, and thank you for liking my trash.
And as i once said before,
Trash is class.
I hope you enjoyed this chapter!
