After chatting with Sienna, Camille wasted no time and immediately

discussed the conversation with Ayan, hoping he could come up with a

solution.

She also asked Ayan, "Would it be more certain if Sienna were to get

pregnant?"

"Mario is completely paranoid about Sienna. So, even if she were truly

pregnant, do you think Mario would mind?" Ayan lightly snorted, a faint

smile playing on his lips. He continued, "Such a person, only when

Sienna returns to Flento City with him, even if Sienna has a child with

Rex, he would treat it as his own without any complaints. At that point,

do you think Sienna or Mario would feel worse?"

Camille nodded understandingly, realizing she had been a bit one-sided

and didn't know Mario's personality well enough.

Taking a deep breath, Camille looked at Ayan again and asked, "So,

what does Rex plan to do?"

"He hasn't said, but he definitely won't let Sienna go. After all, Rex is

not someone to be trifled with. Mario wants to bully people in Hance

City; he probably picked the wrong place. Even if it's the King family, so

what? It's better to both suffer." Ayan snorted, showing no concern

about Mario.

Camille looked at Ayan, observing his confidence while saying these

words. She was curious and asked, "It seems like you're not very fond

of Mario? Is it because of Rex? If Mario really wants to deal with Rex,

as Rex's good friend, would you lend a hand?"

"No." Ayan answered without any hesitation, not even a pause. It was

an instant response that even made Camille chuckle. She asked, "Are

you really not hesitating at all? You answered so decisively?"

Looking at Ayan, Camille couldn't help but smile when he replied, “This

is his personal matter, unrelated to the interests between our

companies. Why should I intervene? If he can't even protect his own

woman, I don't think he deserves to be called a man."

Camille was taken aback by Ayan's words. She blinked at him,

wondering if she had misunderstood.

How could he suddenly say something like this?

Camille laughed and said, "Do you know what you're saying? Aren't

you afraid I'll tell Rex?"

“It's a fact. I would say the same even in front of him."

"So, you mean you'll also protect me well?"

He smiled, a low, husky voice saying, "Naturally."

"Then we'll see about your performance.” Camille smiled lightly.

It was truly unexpected for Ayan to say such things, but it wasn't that

surprising. After all, their friendship was built on such banter. If they

really encountered a situation that required help, it wouldn't be possible

for him to turn a blind eye.

Thinking about this, Camille's smile deepened.

As for Rex's thoughts, Mario didn't know. What Mario knew was that

Sienna's attitude and reactions tonight made him very dissatisfied,

leading to his bad mood.

He remained silent as he returned to the hotel. His secretary followed

him and entered the room, observing his cold expression. The

secretary asked in a low voice, "Mr. King, how do you plan to handle

Miss King?"

Mario took off his jacket and threw it on the couch. He sat down, and

his secretary immediately poured a glass of cold water, handing it to

him. He reached for the glass, drank most of it in one go, and then

spoke calmly, "She believes that Rex can protect her. Right now, she

has no fear and doesn't think I can do anything to her."

Mario squinted, a particularly intense coldness in his eyes. His

secretary had been with him for many years and naturally knew about

his relationship with Sienna.

The secretary spoke softly, "Mr. King, Miss King is married to Rex. After

last night's events, the entire Hance City knows about your relationship

with Miss King. Given this situation, whatever you plan to do next will

probably be hard for anyone to believe."

"Gossip doesn't have to be believed. Once rumors start, even if people

don't believe them, it doesn't matter. After all, human hearts are

unpredictable, and the hardest thing for them is doubt.”

Once doubt arises, continuous speculation will surely follow.

The secretary, seeing that Mario had no intention of giving up on

Sienna, didn't know what to say as a secretary.

Mario spoke again, "We need to establish good relations with the

business circle in Hance City. King Group's development in Hance City

is not just for Sienna; it's also for the future development of King Group.

The upcoming design competition, Simpson Group is also participating,

right? Schedule a meeting with Ayan's secretary immediately. I want to

meet Ayan at Simpson Group tomorrow morning.”

"Are you planning to get sponsorship for this design competition

through Ayan as well?"

"Yes."

"With Ayan's close relationship with Rex, will he agree?" The secretary

asked with some concern.

Mario said, "Ayan is not just Rex's friend; he is also the president of

Simpson Group. Countless people at Simpson Group depend on him

for their livelihoods. Do you think he would disregard Simpson Group

for the sake of friendship? Although Simpson Group is developing well,

there are some aspects, especially in the investment area, which

happens to be King Group's strong suit. He wouldn't want to lose such

a good business partner like me."

Mario was someone willing to sacrifice anyone for the sake of the

company. Therefore, he believed that Ayan must be the same as him.

After all, successful men like them couldn't easily be entangled by

emotions, whether it be love or friendship. Both were secondary, with

the most crucial factor being control over one's interests and power.

As long as you had these two, love and friendship would come easily.

Mario squinted slightly. He instructed his secretary to ensure that this

matter was handled properly because his main purpose in coming to

Hance City was to collaborate with Ayan.

Only collaboration was the most stable relationship. If there was no

collaboration with Ayan, once he had any conflicts with Rex, Ayan

would naturally align with Rex due to their relationship, forcing him to

deal with Ayan as well.

Turning an enemy's friend into your own was foolproof.

Mario's secretary quickly contacted Kian. However, Kian was currently

not in Hance City, so the invitation could only be delicately relayed to

Ayan by Kian. The decision from Ayan would have to wait until he

recovered to give Mario's secretary an answer.

Mario's secretary thanked Kian after ending the call and then truthfully

informed Mario of Kian's response.

Mario's secretary said, "Mr. King, does Ayan's secretary imply that he

doesn't want to cooperate with us?"

"He said he needs to consult Ayan, right? Let's wait for Ayan's

response.”

Mario showed no concern about this matter.

On Kian's side, he quickly contacted Ayan. Even though it was late, he

didn't dare to delay.

Receiving Kian's call and learning about Mario's plan, Ayan fell into a

brief silence. His eyes instinctively glanced at Camille, who was

watching a movie beside him. In a low voice, he asked, "Did his

secretary really say that?"

"Yeah, Mario's secretary mentioned that he wants to discuss

sponsorship for the design competition with you. He probably aims to

secure sponsorship through your involvement, especially since the

competition is being held in Hance City. If he doesn't get your approval,

he won't have a chance with the organizers. So, Mr. Simpson, do you

agree to meet with him?" Kian explained in a hushed tone.

Ayan remained silent for a few seconds before saying, "I'll give you a

message in ten minutes."

At this point, he needed to consult Camille. Even though it was a matter

related to the company, due to Sienna's connection, Ayan wanted to

make things clear with Camille. If Camille didn't understand, it might

affect their relationship. After ending the call, Ayan paused the movie.
