The door of the office was gently closed by Yessica as Camille walked

in, and Kian immediately stood up and looked at Camille. Camille

greeted softly, "Mr. Reid, please sit down and talk without formalities.”

Camille spoke calmly, and Kian nodded slightly as he sat back down on

the sofa. Camille put down her bag, walked to the other side of the

sofa, and raised her gaze slightly to ask Kian, "What does Mr. Reid

want to discuss with me?"

Kian took out a piece of paper from a folder and handed it to Camille.

reported to Mr. Simpson yet. Please take a look at how to handle this

matter."

Camille took the paper and glanced at it, her facial expression

somewhat puzzled. She looked at the contents on the paper, furrowed

her brows slightly, and asked in a low voice, "Are you sure?"

Kian nodded, "Yes, Preston did this. The owner of the phone card is not

verified, but it is rare to purchase such cards now. So as long as

someone buys it, we can directly find out who itis."

It took Kian a lot of time and effort to do all this. Although he had just

landed in Hance City last night, he was busy until the early hours of the

morning to fully understand these things.

Kian continued, "Before I returned, I talked to Mr. Simpson about

Preston. Because he is currently living in the orphanage, I found out

last night that he had left multiple times by a van from the orphanage to

buy daily necessities. I also found out that he had contact with the

Armstrong family.”

As Kian said this, he hesitated at some points, as the Armstrong family

was Camille's maternal family. Any contact between Preston and the

Armstrong family would definitely have some implications for Camille.

family all the time."

Camille also told Kian about Brody's visit, and Kian asked his own

question, "Why did Preston suddenly investigate Mr. Simpson's

affairs?"

Looking at Camille curiously, Kian stared at her, and their gazes met

Camille told Kian everything Preston had said and done. As things were

anxious.

After Camille finished speaking, Kian showed almost no surprise. His

expression could be described as calm.

Seeing Kian's reaction, Camille was puzzled, "Aren't you curious?"

Kian couldn't help but chuckle, "Madam, I'm sorry, but actually, when I

was investigating these things last night, I had some guesses. I

contacted the company's assistant, who, under pressure, told me about

the incident where Preston called the secretary's office to inquire about

Mr. Simpson's schedule.”

Camille was not angry at all because she had originally intended to tell

Kian about this matter.

Feeling relieved after speaking, she said to Kian, "Don't tell Ayan about

this for now. I'll inform him when he returns to the country.”

Kian nodded, knowing that Mr. Simpson would be arriving in Hance City

soon. Camille was unaware of this, so he wouldn't bring it up.

Camille asked Kian, "Do you know what Preston intends to do with Mr.

Simpson's schedule?"

Kian shook his head slightly, "Not yet. But Preston is not one to do

anything good. He is currently without any support and is in a

desperate state. Therefore, anything he does is possible. Madam, you

need to be cautious and avoid too much contact with him, as it will only

bring you danger and trouble.”

Camille nodded in understanding, as she had always been vigilant and

careful about this.

Kian and Camille chatted for a long time. Yessica, who was busy, had

not brought in the glass of water for a long time. It was only half an hour

later, after Kian finished talking with Camille and left the office, that

Yessica, noticing that they had finished their conversation, came over

with the documents and asked, "Did you finish talking already?"

Kian glanced affectionately at Yessica, murmured in agreement, and

Reid out.”

She had already given Yessica and Kian some alone time, and Yessica

returned to her desk in the office, picked up her phone, but still hadn't

received any reply from Ayan. This had never happened before. It had

been so long since last night, and Ayan hadn't checked his phone?
