7 | In the blink of an eye

Jungkook suddenly opened my eyes to the sound of Taehyung.

"Hello, you there?"

He didn't know what to do. Should he answer him this time? Or should he just block Taehyung like he always did?

Just try to be on good terms with him, kook. Eunwoo's words ringed in his mind.

Suddenly Taehyung continued, "Hello, before you block me, please listen to me whoever you are. I-I don't know why you are avoiding me, I don't know why you always block me, please at least tell me your reason. Hmm..d-do you perhaps have someone else? That's why you are avoiding me?"

Taehyung's words struck his mind. Someone else?

"Mate..I-I don't know if I can call you that,b-but please tell me if there is someone else.I will leave you alone after that. I-I just want to know"

Jungkook didn't want to say that he had someone else in his life, because that means Taehyung might reject him? No no, he doesn't want this rejection this early, that too because of a lie.

"Taehyung?"

"O-Oh yes. W-Wait how do you know my name?"

Fuck why did he call by Taehyung's name? Jungkook facepalmed at his own stupidity

"Oh, you only told me Taehyung" Nice Jungkook, smooth.

"Really..I must have said that.Ah, I have a bad memory sorry"Taehyung chuckled at his words.

"Taehyung I-I don't have anyone else. But I am just insecure, that you might reject me"

"What why the hell would I reject you? You are the one I am wholeheartedly waiting in my life"

Yeah, that's why you told hyung that you will reject me if I were your mate. Jungkook sighed at his words.

"No Taehyung you wouldn't understand. I also have some other reasons too. Please wait for me some more time"

"But I want to meet yo-"

He blocked Taehyung from talking further. He just doesn't want to talk further, because he might spill something again like he did today.

Jungkook had barely got any sleep yesterday. He just couldn't sleep after the small conversation with Taehyung. He sighed and got into the class.

"So, you guys made up?"He turned to the voice behind him. Bambam was standing with arms crossed.

"I don't know Bambam, I think things must be good from now on. We both will try to be on good terms, at least for the sake of our group and grades"Jungkook sighed and sadly smiled at Bambam.

"Oh, then it's good. But you know one thing, you guys look good together, if you weren't enemies and all, I bet you both were smooching in the locker rooms like the cliche couples"Bambam chuckled and smugly smiled.

Jungkook blushed at the other boy's words What the heck is even telling? Kissing at the-.No Jungkook, don't go deep into that Jungkook. Jungkook mentally facepalmed himself for getting into the not-so-innocent thoughts

"W-What the h-hell are you telling?"

Bambam shrugged at Jungkook's question, "You know sometimes the most rivals become lovers at the end. Maybe you both will be. I don't know. But I like you guys together"

He said and went to his seat.

The doe-eyed boy shook his head at Bambam's words. Rivals to lovers?

"Exams are over! We are going to get a drink today!"Yoongi said joyfully.

"I am not coming with you"Jungkook answered the other boy in a small voice.

Yoongi smacked the forehead of the younger"You are coming with us. Otherwise, I will tie you up and take you"

"Oh my god, you are going to kidnap me?"

"We can kidnap you easily because you are so small. Hmm, not that small, but a surely small muscle bunny"Hoseok chuckles at the cute nickname.

"Come on stop joking hyungs, I am not coming"

"Jungkook-ah we have been noticing you lately, something is wrong with you. You are sometimes really silent and you even have dark circles in your eyes. Are you not sleeping well?"Yoongi asked with a concern filled voice.

What should he tell them? Should he tell the soulmate thing? The doe-eyed boy bites his lips in nervousness. Somehow they will know about this, right? So it's better to tell them early. He thought and decided to tell them.

"Hyungs I-I want to tell you both something. B-But please don't tell anyone, especially not Jimin hyung"

The younger took a deep breath before continuing, "Hyungs I-I am Taehyung's-"

Suddenly Yoongi hyung interrupts, "You are Taehyung's soulmate. We know kook"

Jungkook widened his eyes at Yoongi's words. What? Does he know? But how? Did Eunwoo hyung tell them?

"No Eunwoo didn't tell us, it was Jimin. Jimin told me"

"WHAT?Jimin hyung? But if Jimin hyung knows,t-that means T-Taehyung"Jungkook panicked with fear.

"Hey kook, relax Jimin didn't tell him. He had just overhead the conversation of you and Eunwoo at Taehyung's birthday party"Hobi patted the younger's shoulder to calm him down.

"Yes kook, don't worry he didn't tell Taehyung because he was worried about you having another panic attack. Don't worry kookie"Yoongi softly said to the younger with a small smile.

"And you are coming with us today. We will cheer you up ok?"

Jungkook nodded with a sad smile. Maybe going on a drink will be nice, it might at least distract him from the unwanted thoughts.

Jungkook, Yoongi and Hoseok entered the club with their fancy outfits. They went to the seats to order their drinks.

"Hyungs I don't want anything. Just order a soda for me" Jungkook said to the other two.

Yoongi nodded and said their orders to the bartender.

Jungkook smiled and talked with the other two. He was having a good time after the hectic days. He was indeed having a good distraction from any thoughts.

"You three are also here?"They all turned and saw Eunwoo standing with a big grin on his face.

Jungkook smiled and offered Eunwoo the empty seat beside him.

"Eunwoo you also come here, damn we haven't seen you though, "Yoongi asked in a curious tone

"Oh no hyung I don't come here that often. I am just here because our exams ended today"

Yoongi nodded and smiled as he saw someone coming in their direction. Jungkook turned back and saw a widely smiling Jimin and familiar aqua haired boy beside him. Taehyung.

He started to feel nervous when he saw the elder. Jungkook looked down and sat silently as Jimin and Taehyung started talking to the other boys.

Taehyung noticed how the younger was being all silent. He was wondering why the other boy was acting like that.

Eunwoo also noticed the gloomy mood of Jungkook, so he decided to cheer him up,"Kookie, come on let's go there"

"Huh? Where hyung?"

"To the dance arena, let's go there" Eunwoo grabbed the other boy's hands and the two walked away.

Taehyung again started feeling something at their interaction. He was shifting uncomfortably at his position.

"Taehyung? What happened to you? Is everything okay Tae?"Jimin asked with a concern filled voice.

"I-I am okay Jiminie, I-I guess I have to use the washroom. I will be back in a minute"

It had happened in the blink of an eye. Taehyung saw Eunwoo and Jungkook dancing happily in the podium. He went in their direction and grabbed Jungkook. The younger was confused by the actions of the blue-haired boy. Taehyung slammed the younger softly on the wall.

Jungkook frowned and started yelling at Taehyung. He didn't know why the other boy was acting like this.

"What the hell Tae, why did you grab me here, why are you doing?"Jungkook constantly yelled at Taehyung as his whole life depended on it. But for Taehyung, he was carefully observing every feature of the boy. Was he this beautiful till now? How couldn't have Taehyung noticed it? The small scar on his cheek, the mole under lips, his pretty doe-eyes...The younger was so much beautiful and something in his heart was telling him to worship the younger, his beauty, his everything.

Jungkook froze when he noticed the heavy gaze of Taehyung. He looked down to avoid the intense stare the blue-haired boy was giving. His cheeks were of a deep shade of red. But what happened next had completely stopped the world around him. Taehyung put his finger under the chin of the younger and lifted it. Jungkook gulped and opened his mouth to say something, but before he could say something, a pair of rough lips were already above his soft lips.

Soo..Taehyung kissed Jungkook :')

I first wrote in Jungkook's POV ,but it was too hard for me :") Now I will be writing in third person POV only, because I think it is more easy for me :)
