Chapter Fifty-Eight

Aria POV

The next few weeks past by in a blur, we laid the dead to rest and helped rebuild the parts of the

City that were destroyed. The attack had devasting effects and alot had died and not just the

wolves, but humans too. Wendy was inconsable after the loss of her mate and so was Zane, Amber

was coping exactly how we expected she would. Her saddness only making my guilt worse, knowing

her mother's death was on my hands. I hadn't spoken to my father since the day we escaped, he

was quick to leave after everything said he to take care of a few things and refused to give us any

answers as to where he was going.

Reid had been run off his feet and would drop in bed exhausted each night trying to salvage what

was left of the packs, David to had been working closely alongside Reid and I was slowly getting

used to having him around. Lily seemed to have grown closer to him and I was happy for her.

Watching Lily the last few weeks she has suffered terrible nightmare's and flashbacks, but that

wasn't all I had noticed. Sometimes I wasn't sure if Lily was in control all the time, sometimes she

would look at me and I swear I wasn't looking in her eyes but that of her wolf. Her eyes never went

back to their normal colour instead staying that Saphire blue and glowing amber colour.

Lily has also been sleep walking, which has had me constantly on alert, she never remembers the

next morning but it doesn't ease my anxiety for her. Something was off and it made me wonder

what exactly her futre had in store for her.

Climbing in bed next to Reid, I snuggled under the blanket, his arm wrapping around my waist as he

tugs me closer, the warmth of his bare chest seeping into my back and warming me as delightful

tingles and sparks rush over my skin. His scent making me inhale deeply. He rubs my belly with his

large hands in a circular motion and for the first time I feel our bundle move. Reid notices too

before lifting his head up and looking down at me his hand on my belly waiting to feel it move

again. We found out I am having a little boy and we have decided to call him Ryker. Reid's eye light

up when Ryker kicks again and I giggle at the feeling.

"Does it hurt?" Reid asks and I shake my head.

"No, just feels strange" I tell him brushing my fingers through his stubble, he really needs to have

shave.

"Not long now" He whispers to my bump before kissing it.

"What I don't get a kiss?" I ask and I see his eyes light up before he moves closer his lips brushing

mine softly, before he kisses me harder deepening the kiss. I roll onto my side facing him and he

brings my leg, up to straddle his hip, rubbing himself against my core. I moan at the friction. Reid

begins attacking my neck, nipping and sucking on my mark making my skin heat up as I am flooded

with arousal. Pushing him on his back I climb on him, draping my legs over eitherside of his hips,

Reid's hands running up my thighs pushing my pyjama's dress up my legs and his eyes widen

slightly when he realises I haven't got on any panties

"Hmm no panties" He asks, lifting an eyebrow.

"They are annoying and getting too tight" I tell him, pouting. Evwerything was getting to tight with

my growing baby bump another week or so and won't be able to see my feet. Reid grabs my ass

with his hands rolling my hips over his harden length beneath me making me moan out. God how I

missed this, with everything going on we have either been to busy or too tired. Reid sits up leaning

against the headboard his lips going to my neck as I feel his fingers wrap around my nipple twisting

making my stomach tighten, I tug at his waistband wanting him to remove his boxer shorts and he

lifts himself slightly and I help him push them down his legs before he uses his legs to kick them off.

Reid suddenly wraps his arm around my waist pulling me closer beofre he flips us so he is now

between my legs hovering over me. He pause for a second while he observes my face, his fingers

brushing my hair behind me ear befor ehe leans down kissing my lips softly.

"I love you,babe" He says and I feel my heart tighten at his words and the look in his eye.

"I love you too" I tell him. That's when I realise no matter what the future holds for us or for Lily,

with him by my side I know we can and will get through anything. Reid is my safe place, Reid is my

home.
