Chapter 125 I Saw Her

After hearing the voice, Evan’s eyes turned cold as he asked, “Who are you?”

Caroline felt the urge to grumble, thinking, ‘Has he lost his mind? Why question the identity of a

stranger?‘

“I don’t think we know each other, right? It’s rather rude to ask such a question.” Caroline responded.

Evan narrowed his eyes and changed his tone, saying, “My child attends this kindergarten. I have the

right to question someone who hides their face and behaves strangely, especially for my son’s safety.”

Caroline was taken aback, thinking, ‘What a flawless excuse!‘

“I apologize.” Caroline said, “I have an allergic reaction, so I cover my face to avoid startling others.

You can inquire with the principal if you wish to know who I am.”

With that, Caroline circled past him and left.

She had used a fake name and address on the application form, so she wasn’t concerned that Evan

would uncover anything.

Evan’s expression turned solemn as he watched her silhouette depart.

After leaving the kindergarten, Evan got into his car and instructed Reuben, “Look into the

students and their parents in Axel’s class.”

Reuben was surprised. “Is there a dangerous person, Mr. Jordan?”

“I saw her!” Evan murmured.

“Her?” Reuben was confused. “Who are you referring to, Mr. Jordan?”

“Caroline!” Evan replied.

Reuben was astounded. He reminded, “Mr. Jordan, it has been five years since Ms. Shenton’s

passing ”

“Did you see a corpse?” Evan stared at Reuben coldly from the rearview mirror.

Reuben answered, “No”

Evan scoffed “Paige sent Caroline’s body to be cremated on the night she passed away! If it really was

Caroline, why didn’t Paige inform us about it?”
