Chapter 251
Trapped in Love
Chapter 251 His Phone Is Turned Off
They selected a fancy restaurant.
Once they were seated, Daniella handed her business card to the man. âHereâs my card. Iâm
Daniella Love.â
He accepted her card with a faint smile. âAh, youâre the chairwoman of YN, the newlyâfounded
company.â
âItâs nothing special,â Daniella replied, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. âMay I know your
name?â
âI am Casey Jordan.â
âCasey⦠Jordan? Daniella was taken aback. âEvanâs older brother, Casey?â
She recalled her grandfather mentioning Casey once in the past.
When Casey noticed Daniellaâs shocked expression, a hint of contempt briefly crossed his
seemingly friendly eyes.
âIs something wrong, Ms. Love?â Casey asked.
âNo, itâs just⦠a coincidence,â Daniella said, snapping back to reality.
Meanwhile, Caroline was in a meeting with the sales and planning departments at TYC.
The sales manager reported, âOur sales revenue has exceeded 100,000,000 dollars since the launch
of our new product, Ms. Shenton. Weâll soon initiate the second wave of preâorders.â
Caroline nodded âUnderstood. Maintain customer communication after sales. Have we finalized
the storefront location?â
âYes, Ms. Shenton. Weâll email the details for your review,â replied the planning department
manager.
âGood. Focus on model selection, and if possible, close the deal by next weekâ¦â
As Caroline finished speaking, her phone vibrated on the table. She noticed Naomiâs name and
answered. âHello-â
Carolineâs voice was interrupted by terrifying screams and chaotic footsteps on the call.
For a moment, her body froze, and she checked her watch. âNaomi should be at the factory right now.
Has something gone wrong there?â she wondered.

However, before she could voice her thoughts, Naomi urgently said, âMs. Shenton! Thereâs a fire at the
factory! The workers are evacuating, and the firefighters are on their way.â
Carolineâs face turned pale. âWhat?â
âThe factory is on fire, and we donât know the cause yet!â
Caroline jumped to her feet. âIâm on my way!â
Caroline arrived at the factory an hour later, where the fire was nearly extinguished. The once-
organized facility now resembled a wasteland.
Her bodyguard rushed to her side. âAre you okay, Ms Shenton?â
Caroline steadied herself and stammered, âIâIâm fine.â
Naomi approached, her hair partly burnt and her face smudged with ash
âMs. Shenton, all the imported fabrics have been destroyed. I tried calling the VP, but his phone is off,â
Naomi said.
âContacting Kenny wonât help now! Caroline furrowed her brow and struggled to stay composed.
How are the workers?â
âWeâve sent the injured ones to the hospital.â
âYouâve handled that well. Ensure proper followâup support for the workers and their families. Have the
lawyer discuss compensation for the injured workers. Donât offer meager bereavement compensation.
Treat the workers fairly, even those with minor injuries.
âOnce the negotiations conclude, have them sign the compensation agreement. Also, make sure the
temporarily unemployed workers receive adequate daily living expenses.â
Naomi looked surprised. âMs. Shenton, this will cost a significant amount.â
âSo what?â
