Twenty minutes later, Caroline arrived at Bayview Villa with the Shenton family. The Shentons.

curiosity piqued. “Are these real security guards? They’re standing so still, like statues.”

A bodyguard, growing annoyed, grabbed Gregory’s collar and lifted him. “You’ve never seen

bodyguards before?”

“Bodyguards? Are they the ones who hurt people? Jade felt terrified upon hearing that and hurried over

to smooth things out for Gregory. “My husband didn’t know. Don’t scare him.”

She then scolded Gregory, “Stop being nosy. Let’s go inside.”

The bodyguards displayed their disdain.

Caroline sneered and swiftly opened the door. Meanwhile, Jamie, with her long black hair flowing

freely, stood by the entrance in a white dress.

This sight sent shivers down the Shentons‘ spines. They wondered, ‘Why does she resemble a female

ghost?‘

Before Caroline could speak, Jamie’s expression suddenly changed as she glanced beyond Caroline.

When she spotted Brandon, her eyes filled with anger.

Caroline had yet to react when she saw Jamie’s furious expression.

Jamie rushed toward Brandon, pushed him down, and strangled him aggressively. “Die! Die! Fucking

man! You must die!”

The Shentons were terrified. Their eyes widened, and they were momentarily unable to react.

Caroline’s brow furrowed as she rushed to intervene. “Jamie, stop strangling him!”

Upon hearing Caroline’s words, the Shentons regained their composure.

Jade remarked, “What a terrible act! Who is this woman?”

Gigi’s voice pierced the air. “Let go of my brother! Stop hurting him!”

Jannie glared at the Shentons, her voice filled with anger. “Silencel All of you, be quiet! I want him

gone! He must die!”

Gregory was rendered speechless in that instant.

Freya arrived when she heard the commotion. Seeing the scene, she quickly fetched a sedative.

Gregory was still scared. “Why not? That woman seemed like she was about to kill him!*!

“We’re here for the money. If we leave, where else can we get it? We can’t leave!” Jade scowled at the

disappointing Gregory, then pulled Gigi and Brandon into the living room.

Gregory scratched his head in frustration and reluctantly followed them inside.
