Caroline stared at her phone, puzzled. Kenny hadn’t shared his arrival time for tomorrow.

Unable to sleep, Caroline descended the stairs.

Upon seeing the Shentons‘ mess in the living room, she massaged her throbbing head. As she moved

toward the kitchen, a terrible smell hit her. Opening the kitchen door, she was shocked by

The floor was covered in chicken waste, and one of the chickens had even hopped onto the

counter, spreading waste all over the beige surface!

Caroline gripped the doorknob tightly to control herself. She wouldn’t tolerate their careless. behavior in

her house if it weren’t for the timing.

Once upstairs, Caroline exhaled deeply. It was time to put her plan into action.

Caroline woke the three children at 7:30 am.

Liora was so lethargic she could not even hold up her head. “I had a tummy ache last night. I can’t

get up” she said weakly,

“Me too, Mommy.”

“Me too…”

Caroline said concerningly, “Is it bad? Would you like me to take you to the doctor?”

The triplets shook their heads in unison.

Tyler said, “Don’t worry about us, Mommy. We’ll feel much better after taking probiotics. Go to

work. We’ll be fine after resting at home for a day.”

Caroline asked again, “Are you sure?”

“Yes, Mommy. We stay home by ourselves frequently, and there are so many bodyguards

downstairs,” Liora reassured.

Caroline said, “Alright then. Call me if you need anything. I’ll order food delivery for you.”

“Mommy, I can get Villa Rosa’s nanny to send us food,” said Axel

Caroline figured that the nanny’s home–cooked food was still healthier than food delivery, so she

nodded in agreement to Axel’s suggestion.

Caroline left after the children went back to sleep.

Axel felt nervous when he saw Casey’s photo because his eyes looked murderous, cold, and

emotionless.

Tyler said in a deep voice, “Casey was sent abroad 15 years ago, about the same time when Grandma

went missing. On the other hand, Casey dated many women, but I didn’t look into them.”

Axel kept quiet for a moment. “So, something must have happened between them.”

“Yes. However, I can’t find anything related to Grandma for the past 15 years, but I’m sure the

Jordans will know something.”

Axel said, “I’ll try to ask around.”

The triplets went downstairs at noon and saw Brandon holding a potato, analyzing it to a camera

set up in the living room

Liora asked, “Is he selling potatoes on live streaming?”

“It’s obvious that he’s using our house to draw in followers,” Tyler said contemptuously.
